Muslimanski vjernici odabrani za hadž izlaze u utorak iz karantene i kreću od sutra na ograničeno hodočašće u Meku, gdje su pripremljene mjere za izbjegavanje širenja koronavirusa.

Između 1.000 i 10.000 hodočasnika koji žive u Saudijskoj Arabiji sudjelovat će u hadžu koji počinje u srijedu, prema podacima dužnosnika i saudijskih medija, ili mali djelić od 2,5 milijuna hodočasnika koji su sudjelovali u prošlogodišnjem obredu.

Ravnatelj javnog zdravstva je rekao da ove godine nemaju sigurnosnih problema, već da prije svega žele zaštititi hodočasnike od pandemije.

Hodočasnici su pregledani i određena im je karantena po dolasku u Meku ovog vikenda. Njihova prtljaga je dezinficirana, prema snimkama službenih medija.

Neki su dobili elektroničke narukvice kojima se prati njihovo kretanje.

Ekipe su očistile i dezinficirale okolicu Kaabe, u središtu Velike Džamije u Meki prema kojoj se okreću muslimanski vjernici cijelog svijeta kada mole.

Suprotno običajima i zbog covida-19 hodočasnici neće smjeti dodirivati Kaabu ove godine kako bi se ograničila opasnost od zaraze, navele su vlasti i dodale da su na terenu rasporedile pet mobilnih klinika i ambulanti.

Oko 70 posto hodočasnika su strani državljani u Saudijskoj Arabiji, koja je registrirala oko 270.000 slučajeva zaraze, najvišu stopu na Bliskom Istoku.

Oni su testirani prije dolaska u Meku i moraju u karantenu nakon hodočašća. Svi su dobili komplet steriliziranih kamenčića za ritual kamenovanja Sotone, sredstva za dezinfekciju, zaštitne maske, molitveni tepih i bijelu halju "ihram" koju mora nositi svaki hodočasnik tijekom obreda, navelo je ministarstvo hadža.

Ove godine stranom tisku nije dozvoljeno praćenje.

Saudijska Arabija je navela da samo tisuću hodočasnika koji žive u kraljevstvu može doći na hadž, ali prema lokalnim medijima moglo bi ih doći do 10.000.

Izbor hodočasnika je bio kritiziran, ali ministar za hadž, Mohammed Benten, inzistirao je na transparentnosti procesa i naglasio da je odlučujući kriterij bio zaštita zdravlja sudionika.

Ministarstvo za hadž je navelo da su strani državljani iz oko 160 zemalja predali svoje kandidature online.

Svaki hodočasnik redovno ima nekoliko tisuća dolara tijekom puta u Meku, ali ove godine saudijska vlada pokriva većinu troškova, uključujući smještaj i obroke, prenosi nekoliko izvora.

U normalnim vremenima hadž i umra donose oko 12 milijarda dolara godišnje.

Umra je "malo hodočašće" koje u normalnim okolnostima privlači više desetaka tisuća vjernika svakog mjeseca, za razliku od hadža koji se obavlja određenih datuma islamskog lunarnog kalendara. Zbog pandemije umra se ne održava od ožujka.

Ograničenja hodočašća ove godine će dodatno pojačati ekonomski pad kraljevstva, ocjenjuju analitičari dok je Saudijska Arabija suočena s jakim padom cijene nafte zbog niže svjetske potražnje i pada gospodarstava.

Muslimanski vjernici odabrani za hadž izlaze u utorak iz karantene i kreću od sutra na ograničeno hodočašće u Meku, gdje su pripremljene mjere za izbjegavanje širenja koronavirusa.

Između 1.000 i 10.000 hodočasnika koji žive u Saudijskoj Arabiji sudjelovat će u hadžu koji počinje u srijedu, prema podacima dužnosnika i saudijskih medija, ili mali djelić od 2,5 milijuna hodočasnika koji su sudjelovali u prošlogodišnjem obredu.

Ravnatelj javnog zdravstva je rekao da ove godine nemaju sigurnosnih problema, već da prije svega žele zaštititi hodočasnike od pandemije.

Hodočasnici su pregledani i određena im je karantena po dolasku u Meku ovog vikenda. Njihova prtljaga je dezinficirana, prema snimkama službenih medija.

Neki su dobili elektroničke narukvice kojima se prati njihovo kretanje.

Ekipe su očistile i dezinficirale okolicu Kaabe, u središtu Velike Džamije u Meki prema kojoj se okreću muslimanski vjernici cijelog svijeta kada mole.

Suprotno običajima i zbog covida-19 hodočasnici neće smjeti dodirivati Kaabu ove godine kako bi se ograničila opasnost od zaraze, navele su vlasti i dodale da su na terenu rasporedile pet mobilnih klinika i ambulanti.

Oko 70 posto hodočasnika su strani državljani u Saudijskoj Arabiji, koja je registrirala oko 270.000 slučajeva zaraze, najvišu stopu na Bliskom Istoku.

Oni su testirani prije dolaska u Meku i moraju u karantenu nakon hodočašća. Svi su dobili komplet steriliziranih kamenčića za ritual kamenovanja Sotone, sredstva za dezinfekciju, zaštitne maske, molitveni tepih i bijelu halju "ihram" koju mora nositi svaki hodočasnik tijekom obreda, navelo je ministarstvo hadža.

Ove godine stranom tisku nije dozvoljeno praćenje.

Saudijska Arabija je navela da samo tisuću hodočasnika koji žive u kraljevstvu može doći na hadž, ali prema lokalnim medijima moglo bi ih doći do 10.000.

Izbor hodočasnika je bio kritiziran, ali ministar za hadž, Mohammed Benten, inzistirao je na transparentnosti procesa i naglasio da je odlučujući kriterij bio zaštita zdravlja sudionika.

Ministarstvo za hadž je navelo da su strani državljani iz oko 160 zemalja predali svoje kandidature online.

Svaki hodočasnik redovno ima nekoliko tisuća dolara tijekom puta u Meku, ali ove godine saudijska vlada pokriva većinu troškova, uključujući smještaj i obroke, prenosi nekoliko izvora.

U normalnim vremenima hadž i umra donose oko 12 milijarda dolara godišnje.

Umra je "malo hodočašće" koje u normalnim okolnostima privlači više desetaka tisuća vjernika svakog mjeseca, za razliku od hadža koji se obavlja određenih datuma islamskog lunarnog kalendara. Zbog pandemije umra se ne održava od ožujka.

Ograničenja hodočašća ove godine će dodatno pojačati ekonomski pad kraljevstva, ocjenjuju analitičari dok je Saudijska Arabija suočena s jakim padom cijene nafte zbog niže svjetske potražnje i pada gospodarstava.

Ovogodišnje hodočašće u Meku obilježeno pandemijom koronavirusa: vjernici testirani prije dolaska u Meku, nakon toga će morati u karantenu

Muslimanski vjernici odabrani za hadž izlaze u utorak iz karantene i kreću od sutra na ograničeno hodočašće u Meku, gdje su pripremljene mjere za izbjegavanje širenja koronavirusa.

Između 1.000 i 10.000 hodočasnika koji žive u Saudijskoj Arabiji sudjelovat će u hadžu koji počinje u srijedu, prema podacima dužnosnika i saudijskih medija, ili mali djelić od 2,5 milijuna hodočasnika koji su sudjelovali u prošlogodišnjem obredu.

Ravnatelj javnog zdravstva je rekao da ove godine nemaju sigurnosnih problema, već da prije svega žele zaštititi hodočasnike od pandemije.

Hodočasnici su pregledani i određena im je karantena po dolasku u Meku ovog vikenda. Njihova prtljaga je dezinficirana, prema snimkama službenih medija.
