Njemačka vlada u srijedu je usvojila strategiju čiji je cilj jačanje ravnopravnosti muškaraca i žena u svim budućim zakonima i programima koje financira vlada.
Ovo je prvi put da se njemačka vlada obvezala na međuresornu strategiju za jačanje rodne ravnopravnosti, teme koja je ranije bila prepuštena ministarstvu za žene.
Unatoč rodnoj ravnopravnosti koja se navodi u njemačkom ustavu, trebala su "desetljeća" da se cijela vlada obveže na provođenje toga, rekla je Franziska Giffey, ministrica za obiteljska pitanja, starije građane, žene i mlade.
Ciljevi strategije su imenovanje više žena na vodećim pozicijama, pomoć ženama u usklađivanju obiteljskih i radnih obveza te poticanje pravednije podjele skrbništva.
Giffey kaže da ima još puno posla u tim područjima i da je strategija "prekretnica" koja će poslužiti kao "važan temelj" budućim vladama.
Potez vlade uslijedio je dan nakon što je Kršćansko-demokratska unija kancelarke Angele Merkel prihvatila prijedlog za povećanje zastupljenosti žena u toj stranci na 50 posto do 2025.
Prijedlog je prihvaćen u utorak nakon 11 sati pregovora koji su nastavljeni u srijedu kada je stranka priznala skupinu gej i lezbijskih članova CDU-a, poznatih kao LSU, službenom organizacijom unutar stranke.
Žene su dobro zastupljene u najvišim redovima CDU-a s Angelom Merkel na čelu vlade i Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, čelnicom stranke i ministricom obrane.
Ipak, u Bundestagu u konzervativnom bloku Angele Merkel, uključujući sestrinsku Kršćansko-socijalnu uniju (CSU) ima tek nešto više od 20 posto žena.
U zastupničkom klubu njihovih koalicijskih partnera socijaldemokrata (SPD) je oko 43 posto žena.

Njemačka vlada u srijedu je usvojila strategiju čiji je cilj jačanje ravnopravnosti muškaraca i žena u svim budućim zakonima i programima koje financira vlada.
Ovo je prvi put da se njemačka vlada obvezala na međuresornu strategiju za jačanje rodne ravnopravnosti, teme koja je ranije bila prepuštena ministarstvu za žene.
Unatoč rodnoj ravnopravnosti koja se navodi u njemačkom ustavu, trebala su "desetljeća" da se cijela vlada obveže na provođenje toga, rekla je Franziska Giffey, ministrica za obiteljska pitanja, starije građane, žene i mlade.
Ciljevi strategije su imenovanje više žena na vodećim pozicijama, pomoć ženama u usklađivanju obiteljskih i radnih obveza te poticanje pravednije podjele skrbništva.
Giffey kaže da ima još puno posla u tim područjima i da je strategija "prekretnica" koja će poslužiti kao "važan temelj" budućim vladama.
Potez vlade uslijedio je dan nakon što je Kršćansko-demokratska unija kancelarke Angele Merkel prihvatila prijedlog za povećanje zastupljenosti žena u toj stranci na 50 posto do 2025.
Prijedlog je prihvaćen u utorak nakon 11 sati pregovora koji su nastavljeni u srijedu kada je stranka priznala skupinu gej i lezbijskih članova CDU-a, poznatih kao LSU, službenom organizacijom unutar stranke.
Žene su dobro zastupljene u najvišim redovima CDU-a s Angelom Merkel na čelu vlade i Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, čelnicom stranke i ministricom obrane.
Ipak, u Bundestagu u konzervativnom bloku Angele Merkel, uključujući sestrinsku Kršćansko-socijalnu uniju (CSU) ima tek nešto više od 20 posto žena.
U zastupničkom klubu njihovih koalicijskih partnera socijaldemokrata (SPD) je oko 43 posto žena.
