Na ukrajinskoj ravnici sve se vidi kao na dlanu. Vide se ukrajinske trupe koje se kotrljaju duž širokih prometnica i preko pustih polja dok izvode protunapad u istočnoj i južnoj Ukrajini. Na otvorenome se kreću usred bijela dana.
Istočna fronta je jednim dijelom i gusto pošumljena, što također prisiljava mehanizirane jedinice da se drže cesta ako žele brzo napredovati. Kretanjem cestama riskiraju zračne zasjede i po svakoj logici bi trebali biti lake mete za stotine modernih lovaca-bombardera ruskih zračnih snaga. Ali nisu. Isti je slučaj bio i s ruskom mornaricom koja je imala prilike pogoditi Ukrajince u njihovim najkritičnijim trenucima: u ranim satima svake protuofenzive, dok su brigade i bataljuni stizali na prvu crtu u kolonama. Ali nisu.
I u telefonskim razgovorima koje su presreli ukrajinski obavještajci, čuju se žalopojke Putinovih vojnika da su tijekom dvostruke ukrajinske ofenzive ostavljeni sami u pustopoljini i da im u pomoć nije stigla obećana podrška avijacije. U jednom od tih razgovora vojnik prepričava supruzi da su bombarderi koji su krenuli prema njima srušeni.
“Mi se ne možemo obraniti, oni imaju prejako oružje u odnosu na naše. Pozvali smo u pomoć podršku zrakoplovstva, rečeno nam je grubo: Odj*****, branite položaj kako znate i umijete!" - govori kroz suze vojnik dok se u telefonskom razgovoru žali supruzi da su četiri zrakoplova letjela prema njima, ali do njih nisu stigli…

Problem je u doktrini
„Nije teško objasniti izostanak prave podrške ruskog ratnog zrakoplovstva. Njihova staromodna doktrina zračnog rata, naime, ne može držati korak ako se situacija na bojišnici brzo mijenja, a pogoto kad istovremeno ukrajinska vojska i zračne snage, drže čvrstu obranu zračnog prostora iznad prvih linija bojišnice, navodi Forbes.
Problem je u doktrini ruskih zračnih snaga koja praktički onemogućava blisku podršku kopnenim trupama kada je neprijatelj u pokretu. „To se događa stoga što ruske zračne snage nisu "zračne snage" u smislu kako mnogi zapadni promatrači razumiju taj izraz. Umjesto toga, rusko zrakoplovstvo je svojevrsno zračno topništvo. Piloti bombardiraju na neviđeno i nemaju slobodu loviti sami svoje neprijatelje. Koordinate im daju zemaljski zapovjednici, često na temelju neažuriranih obavještajnih podataka tako da zračne snage ne prate neprijateljske kopnene trupe u realnom vremenu, navodi Forbes.

Sve dok se Ukrajinci stalno kreću i premještaju, a to rade non-stop od kraja kolovoza, lakše izbjegavaju ruske zračne napade.
Rusima nedostaje najsuvremenijeg naoružanja za precizno gađanje s velike visine pa se piloti moraju spuštati niže, a onda su na dohvatu Stingerima, BUK-ovima, MANPADS-ima s kojima su Ukrajinci dobro opskrbljeni. U zadnjih deset dana Rusi su u nekoliko navrata izveli nalete, no piloti su se suočili sa snažnom protuzračnom obranom. Vlada u Kijevu tvrdi da su njezine snage oborile devet ruskih ratnih zrakoplova između 29. kolovoza i 12. rujna. Neovisni analitičari koji pretražuju društvene mreže u potrazi za fotografijama i video zapisima potvrdili su najmanje pet gubitaka, uključujući dva Su-25, dva Su-34 i Su -30.
Nejasno je čime su točno Ukrajinci oborili ruske zrakoplove, ali The Economist citira ukrajinske izvore izdvajajući samohodne protuzračne topove Gepard njemačke proizvodnje.
Ali ruska doktrina „zračnog topništva“, smatra analitičar Forbesa, mogla bi možda upaliti s početkom zime, kroz sljedećih nekoliko mjeseci, kad bi se fronta mogla zamrznuti i kretanje trupa stati. Ali do tad bi i ukrajinska protuzračna obrana mogla biti još opasnija budući su im SAD i Njemačka obećale nove i bolje rakete zemlja-zrak koje su već krenule prema Ukrajini.

Na ukrajinskoj ravnici sve se vidi kao na dlanu. Vide se ukrajinske trupe koje se kotrljaju duž širokih prometnica i preko pustih polja dok izvode protunapad u istočnoj i južnoj Ukrajini. Na otvorenome se kreću usred bijela dana.
Istočna fronta je jednim dijelom i gusto pošumljena, što također prisiljava mehanizirane jedinice da se drže cesta ako žele brzo napredovati. Kretanjem cestama riskiraju zračne zasjede i po svakoj logici bi trebali biti lake mete za stotine modernih lovaca-bombardera ruskih zračnih snaga. Ali nisu. Isti je slučaj bio i s ruskom mornaricom koja je imala prilike pogoditi Ukrajince u njihovim najkritičnijim trenucima: u ranim satima svake protuofenzive, dok su brigade i bataljuni stizali na prvu crtu u kolonama. Ali nisu.
I u telefonskim razgovorima koje su presreli ukrajinski obavještajci, čuju se žalopojke Putinovih vojnika da su tijekom dvostruke ukrajinske ofenzive ostavljeni sami u pustopoljini i da im u pomoć nije stigla obećana podrška avijacije. U jednom od tih razgovora vojnik prepričava supruzi da su bombarderi koji su krenuli prema njima srušeni.
“Mi se ne možemo obraniti, oni imaju prejako oružje u odnosu na naše. Pozvali smo u pomoć podršku zrakoplovstva, rečeno nam je grubo: Odj*****, branite položaj kako znate i umijete!" - govori kroz suze vojnik dok se u telefonskom razgovoru žali supruzi da su četiri zrakoplova letjela prema njima, ali do njih nisu stigli…

Problem je u doktrini
„Nije teško objasniti izostanak prave podrške ruskog ratnog zrakoplovstva. Njihova staromodna doktrina zračnog rata, naime, ne može držati korak ako se situacija na bojišnici brzo mijenja, a pogoto kad istovremeno ukrajinska vojska i zračne snage, drže čvrstu obranu zračnog prostora iznad prvih linija bojišnice, navodi Forbes.
Problem je u doktrini ruskih zračnih snaga koja praktički onemogućava blisku podršku kopnenim trupama kada je neprijatelj u pokretu. „To se događa stoga što ruske zračne snage nisu "zračne snage" u smislu kako mnogi zapadni promatrači razumiju taj izraz. Umjesto toga, rusko zrakoplovstvo je svojevrsno zračno topništvo. Piloti bombardiraju na neviđeno i nemaju slobodu loviti sami svoje neprijatelje. Koordinate im daju zemaljski zapovjednici, često na temelju neažuriranih obavještajnih podataka tako da zračne snage ne prate neprijateljske kopnene trupe u realnom vremenu, navodi Forbes.

Sve dok se Ukrajinci stalno kreću i premještaju, a to rade non-stop od kraja kolovoza, lakše izbjegavaju ruske zračne napade.
Rusima nedostaje najsuvremenijeg naoružanja za precizno gađanje s velike visine pa se piloti moraju spuštati niže, a onda su na dohvatu Stingerima, BUK-ovima, MANPADS-ima s kojima su Ukrajinci dobro opskrbljeni. U zadnjih deset dana Rusi su u nekoliko navrata izveli nalete, no piloti su se suočili sa snažnom protuzračnom obranom. Vlada u Kijevu tvrdi da su njezine snage oborile devet ruskih ratnih zrakoplova između 29. kolovoza i 12. rujna. Neovisni analitičari koji pretražuju društvene mreže u potrazi za fotografijama i video zapisima potvrdili su najmanje pet gubitaka, uključujući dva Su-25, dva Su-34 i Su -30.
Nejasno je čime su točno Ukrajinci oborili ruske zrakoplove, ali The Economist citira ukrajinske izvore izdvajajući samohodne protuzračne topove Gepard njemačke proizvodnje.
Ali ruska doktrina „zračnog topništva“, smatra analitičar Forbesa, mogla bi možda upaliti s početkom zime, kroz sljedećih nekoliko mjeseci, kad bi se fronta mogla zamrznuti i kretanje trupa stati. Ali do tad bi i ukrajinska protuzračna obrana mogla biti još opasnija budući su im SAD i Njemačka obećale nove i bolje rakete zemlja-zrak koje su već krenule prema Ukrajini.
