Bivši američki predsjednik Bill Clinton u četvrtak je objavio popis donatora svoje zaklade, ispunjavajući dio sporazuma sa tranzicijskim timom Baracka Obame,
prema kojem je njegova supruga Hillary imenovana državnom tajnicom.

Donacije Zakladi William J. Clintona, uključuju uplate 10 do 25 milijuna dolara od Saudijske Arabije, Kuvajta i Katara, Zaklade Billa i Melinde Gates i mogula tržišta nekretnina Stephena Binga, Clintonova osobnog prijatelja.

Na popisu je i saudijski poslovni čovjek Nasser Al-Rashid, blisko vezan sa saudijskom kraljevskom obitelji. Saudijski šeik Mohammed H. Al-Amoudi, jedan od najbogatijih ljudi na svijetu, također je među donatorima. Prilozi dvojice Saudijaca su u kategoriji od 1 do 5 milijuna dolara. U istoj kategoriji nalaze se i skupina pod nazivom Prijatelji Saudijske Arabije, te Zaklada Dubai.

Indijski metalurški magnat Lakshmi Mittal, također je donirao između 1 i 5 milijuna dolara, kao i Zaklada Eltona Johna za AIDS, Spomen fond princeze Diane i Institut Otvoreno društvo, Georgea Sorosa.

Televizijski mogul rodom iz Izraela Haim Saban, vlasnik TV mreže Univision na španjolskom govornom području, donirao je između 5 i 10 milijuna dolara.

Dva najveća donatora su UNITAID, nova međunarodna organizacija koja nabavlja lijekove za najsiromašnije ljude na svijetu i Zaklada za ulaganje u djecu (Children's Investment Fund Foundation), koje su svaka donirale više od 25 milijuna dolara.

Clinton je donirao između 500.000 i jedan milijun dolara osobno ili kroz obiteljsku zakladu, koja je odvojena od Zaklade William J. Clinton.

Projekti Zaklade uključuju Clintonovu Globalnu inicijativu, te zasebne inicijative koje se bave dječjom pretilošću, globalnim zatopljenjem, HIV/AIDS-om i malarijom, te gospodarskim razvojem Latinske Amerike, kao i izgradnjom Clintonove Predsjedničke knjižnice u Arkansasu.

Bivši američki predsjednik Bill Clinton u četvrtak je objavio popis donatora svoje zaklade, ispunjavajući dio sporazuma sa tranzicijskim timom Baracka Obame,
prema kojem je njegova supruga Hillary imenovana državnom tajnicom.

Donacije Zakladi William J. Clintona, uključuju uplate 10 do 25 milijuna dolara od Saudijske Arabije, Kuvajta i Katara, Zaklade Billa i Melinde Gates i mogula tržišta nekretnina Stephena Binga, Clintonova osobnog prijatelja.

Na popisu je i saudijski poslovni čovjek Nasser Al-Rashid, blisko vezan sa saudijskom kraljevskom obitelji. Saudijski šeik Mohammed H. Al-Amoudi, jedan od najbogatijih ljudi na svijetu, također je među donatorima. Prilozi dvojice Saudijaca su u kategoriji od 1 do 5 milijuna dolara. U istoj kategoriji nalaze se i skupina pod nazivom Prijatelji Saudijske Arabije, te Zaklada Dubai.

Indijski metalurški magnat Lakshmi Mittal, također je donirao između 1 i 5 milijuna dolara, kao i Zaklada Eltona Johna za AIDS, Spomen fond princeze Diane i Institut Otvoreno društvo, Georgea Sorosa.

Televizijski mogul rodom iz Izraela Haim Saban, vlasnik TV mreže Univision na španjolskom govornom području, donirao je između 5 i 10 milijuna dolara.

Dva najveća donatora su UNITAID, nova međunarodna organizacija koja nabavlja lijekove za najsiromašnije ljude na svijetu i Zaklada za ulaganje u djecu (Children's Investment Fund Foundation), koje su svaka donirale više od 25 milijuna dolara.

Clinton je donirao između 500.000 i jedan milijun dolara osobno ili kroz obiteljsku zakladu, koja je odvojena od Zaklade William J. Clinton.

Projekti Zaklade uključuju Clintonovu Globalnu inicijativu, te zasebne inicijative koje se bave dječjom pretilošću, globalnim zatopljenjem, HIV/AIDS-om i malarijom, te gospodarskim razvojem Latinske Amerike, kao i izgradnjom Clintonove Predsjedničke knjižnice u Arkansasu.
