Francuski učenici moraju biti obrazovani u "kritičkim duhu" kako bi bolje uočili dezinformacije i lažne vijesti, rekao je predsjednik Macron. Potreban je niz mjera, uključujući izmjene nacionalnog obrazovnog programa, za rješavanje poplave toksičnih informacija koje ugrožavaju demokraciju, rekao je francuski čelnik.

Skupina od 30 stručnjaka, na čelu sa sociologom Géraldom Bronnerom, pozvala je na promjenu zakona o tisku kako bi internetske platforme i oni koji objavljuju na njima bili odgovorni pred sudovima. Obraćajući se novinarima i medijskim šefovima, Macron je podržao te prijedloge i obećao da će Francusku staviti na prvu liniju, kako je nazvao, borbe protiv širitelja lažnih vijesti.

Kaže da su djeca suočena s "propadanjem svih relacija s istinom", zbog rasprostranejnih lažnih vijesti i teorija zavjere. Tvrdi da Francuska treba "više obrazovati djecu s kritičkim duhom, naučiti ih metodama koje su potrebne da se suoče s ovom digitalnom transformacijom". Po njemu je od vitalnog značaja boriti se protiv uloge algoritama koje su stvorili američki web divovi, a koji svakoga tjeraju u "vlastite balone na društvenim medijima". "Moramo ponovno pokrenuti duh prosvjetiteljstva, ovaj put za digitalno doba", dodao je. Platforme moraju omogućiti korisnicima da izbjegnu utjecaj algoritama koji im daju toksične informacije, a oglašavanje treba obuzdati, rekli su stručnjaci.

Novinari su odgovorni pred sudovima za ono što proizvode, rekao je Macron. "To mora važiti za sve koji proizvode i distribuiraju informacije - digitalne platforme, influencere, obične građane koji ponekad igraju veliku ulogu u javnoj raspravi. Svi oni na novim platformama moraju biti smješteni u važan okvir odgovornosti."

Isto se mora odnositi i na "propagandiste koje financiraju strani autoritarni režimi", dodao je. “Nismo naivni. Moramo se znati zaštititi od stranog uplitanja”, rekao je. Osobito je aludirao na javne i navodne tajne akcije Kremlja kako bi utjecao na francusko javno mnijenje i rezultate izbora. Macron je optužio Moskvu da se umiješala u izbore 2017., posebice hakiranjem računala u njegovoj kampanji, što je dovelo do objavljivanja na internetu tisuća dokumenata prožetih lažnim materijalom, dva dana prije posljednjeg kruga glasovanja. Predsjednik nije dao pojedinosti o mjerama za suzbijanje internetskih dezinformacija, ali je podržao prijedlog novog zakona koji bi omogućio kazneni progon pojedinaca i platformi, i to "za svako širenje vijesti digitalnim sredstvima za koje se zna da su netočne i koje štete drugima".

Francuski učenici moraju biti obrazovani u "kritičkim duhu" kako bi bolje uočili dezinformacije i lažne vijesti, rekao je predsjednik Macron. Potreban je niz mjera, uključujući izmjene nacionalnog obrazovnog programa, za rješavanje poplave toksičnih informacija koje ugrožavaju demokraciju, rekao je francuski čelnik.

Skupina od 30 stručnjaka, na čelu sa sociologom Géraldom Bronnerom, pozvala je na promjenu zakona o tisku kako bi internetske platforme i oni koji objavljuju na njima bili odgovorni pred sudovima. Obraćajući se novinarima i medijskim šefovima, Macron je podržao te prijedloge i obećao da će Francusku staviti na prvu liniju, kako je nazvao, borbe protiv širitelja lažnih vijesti.

Kaže da su djeca suočena s "propadanjem svih relacija s istinom", zbog rasprostranejnih lažnih vijesti i teorija zavjere. Tvrdi da Francuska treba "više obrazovati djecu s kritičkim duhom, naučiti ih metodama koje su potrebne da se suoče s ovom digitalnom transformacijom". Po njemu je od vitalnog značaja boriti se protiv uloge algoritama koje su stvorili američki web divovi, a koji svakoga tjeraju u "vlastite balone na društvenim medijima". "Moramo ponovno pokrenuti duh prosvjetiteljstva, ovaj put za digitalno doba", dodao je. Platforme moraju omogućiti korisnicima da izbjegnu utjecaj algoritama koji im daju toksične informacije, a oglašavanje treba obuzdati, rekli su stručnjaci.

Novinari su odgovorni pred sudovima za ono što proizvode, rekao je Macron. "To mora važiti za sve koji proizvode i distribuiraju informacije - digitalne platforme, influencere, obične građane koji ponekad igraju veliku ulogu u javnoj raspravi. Svi oni na novim platformama moraju biti smješteni u važan okvir odgovornosti."

Predsjednik nije dao pojedinosti o mjerama za suzbijanje internetskih dezinformacija, ali je podržao prijedlog novog zakona koji bi omogućio kazneni progon pojedinaca i platformi, i to "za svako širenje vijesti digitalnim sredstvima za koje se zna da su netočne i koje štete drugima".

Francuski učenici moraju biti obrazovani u "kritičkim duhu" kako bi bolje uočili dezinformacije i lažne vijesti, rekao je predsjednik Macron. Potreban je niz mjera, uključujući izmjene nacionalnog obrazovnog programa, za rješavanje poplave toksičnih informacija koje ugrožavaju demokraciju, rekao je francuski čelnik.

Skupina od 30 stručnjaka, na čelu sa sociologom Géraldom Bronnerom, pozvala je na promjenu zakona o tisku kako bi internetske platforme i oni koji objavljuju na njima bili odgovorni pred sudovima. Obraćajući se novinarima i medijskim šefovima, Macron je podržao te prijedloge i obećao da će Francusku staviti na prvu liniju, kako je nazvao, borbe protiv širitelja lažnih vijesti.
