Siromašne zemlje tek sada počinju osjećati najteže udare gospodarske krize, iako u nekim sferama globalnog financijskog tržišta ima pokazatelja da je najgore možda prošlo, izjavio je danas potpredsjednik Svjetske banke za vanjske poslove Marwan Muasher.

Globalna ekonomska kriza mogla bi imati razoran utjecaj na zdravstvene i obrazovne projekte u zemljama u razvoju, osim ako bogate nacije djelić svojih mjera stimulacije ne usmjere na pomoć siromašnima, upozorio je, naglasivši kako su siromašne zemlje teško pogođene krizom za koju nisu odgovorne, niti imaju mogućnosti oduprijeti joj se, jer su bile izložene teškoj krizi na sektoru hrane i energetike.

Ističući da je svjetska kriza u bijedu bacila novih 90 milijuna ljudi širom svijeta, uglavnom u zemljama u razvoju, Muasher je podsjetio kako je tamo bez posla ostalo 30 milijuna ljudi. Muasher smatra kako globalna kriza zahtijeva i globalna rješenja, i dodaje kako je ‘socijalni aspekt krize u velikoj mjeri ignoriran’, a ignoriranje pomoći za siromašne je “kratkovidno”.

Svjetska banka zato poziva bogate da 0,7 posto svojih stimulativnih paketa usmjere na podršku siromašnim zemljama.

Siromašne zemlje tek sada počinju osjećati najteže udare gospodarske krize, iako u nekim sferama globalnog financijskog tržišta ima pokazatelja da je najgore možda prošlo, izjavio je danas potpredsjednik Svjetske banke za vanjske poslove Marwan Muasher.

Globalna ekonomska kriza mogla bi imati razoran utjecaj na zdravstvene i obrazovne projekte u zemljama u razvoju, osim ako bogate nacije djelić svojih mjera stimulacije ne usmjere na pomoć siromašnima, upozorio je, naglasivši kako su siromašne zemlje teško pogođene krizom za koju nisu odgovorne, niti imaju mogućnosti oduprijeti joj se, jer su bile izložene teškoj krizi na sektoru hrane i energetike.

Ističući da je svjetska kriza u bijedu bacila novih 90 milijuna ljudi širom svijeta, uglavnom u zemljama u razvoju, Muasher je podsjetio kako je tamo bez posla ostalo 30 milijuna ljudi. Muasher smatra kako globalna kriza zahtijeva i globalna rješenja, i dodaje kako je ‘socijalni aspekt krize u velikoj mjeri ignoriran’, a ignoriranje pomoći za siromašne je “kratkovidno”.

Svjetska banka zato poziva bogate da 0,7 posto svojih stimulativnih paketa usmjere na podršku siromašnim zemljama.

Siromašne zemlje tek sada počinju osjećati najteže udare gospodarske krize, iako u nekim sferama globalnog financijskog tržišta ima pokazatelja da je najgore možda prošlo, izjavio je danas potpredsjednik Svjetske banke za vanjske poslove Marwan Muasher.
