Austrijski parlament odlučio je u četvrtak zauvijek završiti s tiskanjem Wiener Zeitunga, jednog od najstarijih dnevnih listova na svijetu koji će se ubuduće moći čitati samo u digitalnom obliku.

Taj 320 godina star dnevni list od sada će se tiskati samo kao mjesečnik, odlučila je konzervativno-zelena koalicija unatoč oštrim kritikama umjetnika i oporbenih stranaka.

Dnevnik je osnovan 1703. godine, tada pod nazivom Wiennerisches Diarium (Bečki dnevnik) i bio je službeno glasilo habsburške monarhije.

Vladajuća koalicija je 2021. odlučila da taj list u vlasništvu austrijske vlade prestane objavljivati oglase tvrtki čime se uglavnom financirao.

"List ima više čitatelja iznad 90 od onih koji su mlađi od 30 godina", rekla je ministrica za obitelj i medije Susanne Raab iz konzervativne austrijske Narodne stranke (ÖVP).

Austrijska književnica i dobitnica Nobelove nagrade Elfriede Jelinek te umjetnik André Heller neke su od istaknutih osoba koje su pokušale očuvati tiskano izdanje.

Oporbeni zastupnici kritizirali su odluku jer smatraju da ona osiromašuje medijski prostor.

"To je udarac za medijsku politiku i kulturu", rekao je zamjenik predsjednika Socijaldemokratske stranke (SPÖ) Jörg Leichtfried.

Austrijski parlament odlučio je u četvrtak zauvijek završiti s tiskanjem Wiener Zeitunga, jednog od najstarijih dnevnih listova na svijetu koji će se ubuduće moći čitati samo u digitalnom obliku.

Taj 320 godina star dnevni list od sada će se tiskati samo kao mjesečnik, odlučila je konzervativno-zelena koalicija unatoč oštrim kritikama umjetnika i oporbenih stranaka.

Dnevnik je osnovan 1703. godine, tada pod nazivom Wiennerisches Diarium (Bečki dnevnik) i bio je službeno glasilo habsburške monarhije.

Vladajuća koalicija je 2021. odlučila da taj list u vlasništvu austrijske vlade prestane objavljivati oglase tvrtki čime se uglavnom financirao.

"List ima više čitatelja iznad 90 od onih koji su mlađi od 30 godina", rekla je ministrica za obitelj i medije Susanne Raab iz konzervativne austrijske Narodne stranke (ÖVP).

Austrijska književnica i dobitnica Nobelove nagrade Elfriede Jelinek te umjetnik André Heller neke su od istaknutih osoba koje su pokušale očuvati tiskano izdanje.

Oporbeni zastupnici kritizirali su odluku jer smatraju da ona osiromašuje medijski prostor.

"To je udarac za medijsku politiku i kulturu", rekao je zamjenik predsjednika Socijaldemokratske stranke (SPÖ) Jörg Leichtfried.

Jedan od najstarijih dnevnih listova na svijetu prestaje izlaziti u tiskanom izdanju: ‘Ovo je baš udarac...‘

Austrijski parlament odlučio je u četvrtak zauvijek završiti s tiskanjem Wiener Zeitunga, jednog od najstarijih dnevnih listova na svijetu koji će se ubuduće moći čitati samo u digitalnom obliku.

Taj 320 godina star dnevni list od sada će se tiskati samo kao mjesečnik, odlučila je konzervativno-zelena koalicija unatoč oštrim kritikama umjetnika i oporbenih stranaka.

Dnevnik je osnovan 1703. godine, tada pod nazivom Wiennerisches Diarium (Bečki dnevnik) i bio je službeno glasilo habsburške monarhije.

Vladajuća koalicija je 2021. odlučila da taj list u vlasništvu austrijske vlade prestane objavljivati oglase tvrtki čime se uglavnom financirao.

"List ima više čitatelja iznad 90 od onih koji su mlađi od 30 godina", rekla je ministrica za obitelj i medije Susanne Raab iz konze...
