Dužnosnik Ujedinjenih naroda za ljudska prava odlučio je dati ostavku nazvavši genocidom ono što se događa u Gazi, koji UN nije uspio zaustaviti.

Craig Mokhiber, direktor UN-ovog Ureda visokog povjerenika za ljudska prava u New Yorku, naveo je u pismu da je Gaza udžbenički slučaj genocida. Mokhiber navodi da je živio u Gazi baveći se pitanjem ljudskih prava za UN 90-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, prenosi CNN.

On je optužio Sjedinjene Države, Ujedinjenu Kraljevinu i europske zemlje da pružaju političko i diplomatsko pokriće za zločine Izraela.

U pismu, koje je započeo izjavom kojom daje do znanja da će to biti njegova posljednja službena komunikacija na položaju, Mokhiber je napisao da je nakon što je svjedočio onome što se dogodilo u Ruandi, Bosni i Hercegovini i civilima Rohinja u Mianmaru, jasno da UN uvijek isponova nije uspio zaustaviti genocid.

"Visoki povjereniče, opet ne uspijevamo", dodao je.

Pismo je poslano šefu UN-a za ljudska prava Volkeru Turku u Ženevi. Tajnik za tisak glavnog tajnika UN-a rekao je da Mokhiber odlazi u mirovinu od utorka.

Dužnosnik Ujedinjenih naroda za ljudska prava odlučio je dati ostavku nazvavši genocidom ono što se događa u Gazi, koji UN nije uspio zaustaviti.

Craig Mokhiber, direktor UN-ovog Ureda visokog povjerenika za ljudska prava u New Yorku, naveo je u pismu da je Gaza udžbenički slučaj genocida. Mokhiber navodi da je živio u Gazi baveći se pitanjem ljudskih prava za UN 90-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, prenosi CNN.

On je optužio Sjedinjene Države, Ujedinjenu Kraljevinu i europske zemlje da pružaju političko i diplomatsko pokriće za zločine Izraela.

U pismu, koje je započeo izjavom kojom daje do znanja da će to biti njegova posljednja službena komunikacija na položaju, Mokhiber je napisao da je nakon što je svjedočio onome što se dogodilo u Ruandi, Bosni i Hercegovini i civilima Rohinja u Mianmaru, jasno da UN uvijek isponova nije uspio zaustaviti genocid.

"Visoki povjereniče, opet ne uspijevamo", dodao je.

Pismo je poslano šefu UN-a za ljudska prava Volkeru Turku u Ženevi. Tajnik za tisak glavnog tajnika UN-a rekao je da Mokhiber odlazi u mirovinu od utorka.

Dužnosnik Ujedinjenih naroda za ljudska prava odlučio je dati ostavku nazvavši genocidom ono što se događa u Gazi, koji UN nije uspio zaustaviti.

Craig Mokhiber, direktor UN-ovog Ureda visokog povjerenika za ljudska prava u New Yorku, naveo je u pismu da je Gaza udžbenički slučaj genocida. Mokhiber navodi da je živio u Gazi baveći se pitanjem ljudskih prava za UN 90-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, prenosi CNN.

On je optužio Sjedinjene Države, Ujedinjenu Kraljevinu i europske zemlje da pružaju političko i diplomatsko pokriće za zločine Izraela.

U pismu, koje je započeo izjavom kojom daje do znanja da će to biti njegova posljednja službena komunikacija na položaju, Mokhiber je napisao da je nakon što je svjedočio onome što se dogodilo u Ruandi, Bosni i Hercegovini i civilima Rohinja u Mianmaru, jasno da UN uvijek isponova nije uspio zaustaviti genocid.

"Visoki povjereniče, opet ne uspijevamo", dodao je.

Pismo je poslano šefu UN-a za ljudska prava Volkeru Turku u Ženevi. Tajnik za tisak glavnog tajnika UN-a rekao je da Mokhiber odlazi u mirovinu od utorka.
