U privatnom svjedočenju pod zakletvom, bivši vršitelj dužnosti ravnatelja CIA-e Mike Morell je rekao da je Bidenova kampanja tražila od njega da organizira 50 kolega da potpišu pismo u listopadu 2020. u kojem se lažno tvrdi da su e-poruke s prijenosnog računala Huntera Bidena ruske dezinformacije.

Morell je rekao Odboru za pravosuđe Predstavničkog doma da ga je Antony Blinken, današnji državni tajnik - koji je u to vrijeme bio viši član Bidenove kampanje - zamolio da pomogne diskreditirati izvještavanje o laptopu Bidena mlađeg. Odbor trenutno istražuje slučaj računala, kao i tvrtke obitelji Biden.

Laptop je uključivao eksplicitne fotografije problematičnog sina današnjeg predsjednika, uključujući one gdje je gol, s prostitutkama i drogira se, kao i više e-mailova i poruka između 53-godišnjaka i njegova oca.

Morell je rekao da ga je Blinken zamolio da okupi bivše šefove obavještajnih službi kako bi se složili da čitava priča izgleda kao klevetnička kampanja. Pismo je na kraju potpisao 51 bivši obavještajni dužnosnik, uključujući još četiri bivša direktora CIA-e.

Pismo je objavio Politico pet dana nakon što je New York Post prvi izvijestio o sadržaju laptopa. Naslov Politicoove priče od 19. listopada 2020. bio je: ‘Priča o Hunteru Bidenu je ruska dezinformacija, kažu deseci bivših dužnosnika.‘

U pismu se navodi da priča The New York Posta ‘ima sva klasična obilježja ruske informativne operacije.‘ Nekoliko medija, uključujući DailyMail, od tada je potvrdilo autentičnost sadržaja laptopa, kao i to da je pripadao Hunteru Bidenu.

Joe Biden upotrijebio je pismo tijekom debate protiv Donalda Trumpa 22. listopada, rekavši kako misli da je izvještavanje o računalu njegova sina djelo Rusije.

Morell je dobio zahvalu za svoj rad u koordinaciji pisma, a Steve Ricchetti, predsjednik Bidenove kampanje, telefonirao mu je nakon rasprave da mu se zahvali. Tada mu je rečeno da je u razmatranju za ulogu direktora CIA-e; posla koji je na kraju pripao Williamu Burnsu.

U četvrtak su predsjednik Odbora za pravosuđe Zastupničkog doma i Odabranog odbora za obavještajne poslove, pisali Blinkenu tražeći njegovu komunikaciju s Morellom oko prijenosnog računala. Izdano je i priopćenje koje optužuje Morella i druge šefove obavještajnih službi za ‘usklađene napore da minimiziraju i potisnu‘ informacije štetne za Bidenovu kampanju.

‘Na temelju Morellovog svjedočenja, očito je da je Bidenova kampanja igrala aktivnu ulogu u podrijetlu javne izjave, koja je imala učinak pomaganja u potiskivanju priče o Hunteru Bidenu i sprječavanja američkih građana da donesu potpuno informiranu odluku tijekom 2020. predsjedničkih izbora‘, napisano je u zajedničkoj izjavi.

U privatnom svjedočenju pod zakletvom, bivši vršitelj dužnosti ravnatelja CIA-e Mike Morell je rekao da je Bidenova kampanja tražila od njega da organizira 50 kolega da potpišu pismo u listopadu 2020. u kojem se lažno tvrdi da su e-poruke s prijenosnog računala Huntera Bidena ruske dezinformacije.

Morell je rekao Odboru za pravosuđe Predstavničkog doma da ga je Antony Blinken, današnji državni tajnik - koji je u to vrijeme bio viši član Bidenove kampanje - zamolio da pomogne diskreditirati izvještavanje o laptopu Bidena mlađeg. Odbor trenutno istražuje slučaj računala, kao i tvrtke obitelji Biden.

Laptop je uključivao eksplicitne fotografije problematičnog sina današnjeg predsjednika, uključujući one gdje je gol, s prostitutkama i drogira se, kao i više e-mailova i poruka između 53-godišnjaka i njegova oca.

Morell je rekao da ga je Blinken zamolio da okupi bivše šefove obavještajnih službi kako bi se složili da čitava priča izgleda kao klevetnička kampanja. Pismo je na kraju potpisao 51 bivši obavještajni dužnosnik, uključujući još četiri bivša direktora CIA-e.

Pismo je objavio Politico pet dana nakon što je New York Post prvi izvijestio o sadržaju laptopa. Naslov Politicoove priče od 19. listopada 2020. bio je: ‘Priča o Hunteru Bidenu je ruska dezinformacija, kažu deseci bivših dužnosnika.‘

U pismu se navodi da priča The New York Posta ‘ima sva klasična obilježja ruske informativne operacije.‘ Nekoliko medija, uključujući DailyMail, od tada je potvrdilo autentičnost sadržaja laptopa, kao i to da je pripadao Hunteru Bidenu.

Joe Biden upotrijebio je pismo tijekom debate protiv Donalda Trumpa 22. listopada, rekavši kako misli da je izvještavanje o računalu njegova sina djelo Rusije.

Morell je dobio zahvalu za svoj rad u koordinaciji pisma, a Steve Ricchetti, predsjednik Bidenove kampanje, telefonirao mu je nakon rasprave da mu se zahvali. Tada mu je rečeno da je u razmatranju za ulogu direktora CIA-e; posla koji je na kraju pripao Williamu Burnsu.

U četvrtak su predsjednik Odbora za pravosuđe Zastupničkog doma i Odabranog odbora za obavještajne poslove, pisali Blinkenu tražeći njegovu komunikaciju s Morellom oko prijenosnog računala. Izdano je i priopćenje koje optužuje Morella i druge šefove obavještajnih službi za ‘usklađene napore da minimiziraju i potisnu‘ informacije štetne za Bidenovu kampanju.

‘Na temelju Morellovog svjedočenja, očito je da je Bidenova kampanja igrala aktivnu ulogu u podrijetlu javne izjave, koja je imala učinak pomaganja u potiskivanju priče o Hunteru Bidenu i sprječavanja američkih građana da donesu potpuno informiranu odluku tijekom 2020. predsjedničkih izbora‘, napisano je u zajedničkoj izjavi.

U privatnom svjedočenju pod zakletvom, bivši vršitelj dužnosti ravnatelja CIA-e Mike Morell je rekao da je Bidenova kampanja tražila od njega da organizira 50 kolega da potpišu pismo u listopadu 2020. u kojem se lažno tvrdi da su e-poruke s prijenosnog računala Huntera Bidena ruske dezinformacije.

Morell je rekao Odboru za pravosuđe Predstavničkog doma da ga je Antony Blinken, današnji državni tajnik - koji je u to vrijeme bio viši član Bidenove kampanje - zamolio da pomogne diskreditirati izvještavanje o laptopu Bidena mlađeg. Odbor trenutno istražuje slučaj računala, kao i tvrtke obitelji Biden.
