- Na primjer, SAD neće priznati Abhaziju i Južnu Osetiju kao nezavisne države - rekao je Biden. Biden je istaknuo i kako bi Rusija i NATO trebali surađivati i zajednički poraziti Al-Qa’idu.
- Mi ćemo surađivati. Mi ćemo slušati. Mi ćemo savjetovati. Americi treba svijet, kao što smatram i da svijetu treba Amerika - zaključio je Biden.
Naglasio je i kako promjene ne znače da Amerika neće štititi nacionalnu sigurnost.
- Nema nikakvog sukoba između naših ideala i naše sigurnosti. Vojne su snage osigurale samostalnost i u našoj povijesti, vojne su snage zaštitile našu slobodu - podsjetio je Biden.
Naglasio je kako će SAD trebati pomoć europskih partnera. Rekao je kako Amerika očekuje da će europske zemlje prihvatiti zatvorenike Guantanama. Što se tiče Irana, američki potpredsjednik naglasio je kako treba uvjeriti tu zemlju da obustavi nuklearni program.
- Mi smo spremni razgovarati s Iranom i ponuditi vrlo jasan prijedlog: ”Ako nastavite sa svojim dosadašnjim aktivnostima, bit će mnogo pritiska i izolacije. Obustavite nuklearni program i pomoć terorizmu i imat ćete podršku!” – poručio je Biden Iranu.
Biden se osvrnuo i na stanje u Afganistanu i naglasio kako toj zemlji treba osigurati sigurnu budućnost. Međutim, rekao je kako je to nemoguće bez Pakistana.
Američki potpredsjednik rekao je i kako treba pronaći rješenje za sukob Palestinaca i Izraela. Prema njegovim riječima, rješenje su dvije države.

- Na primjer, SAD neće priznati Abhaziju i Južnu Osetiju kao nezavisne države - rekao je Biden. Biden je istaknuo i kako bi Rusija i NATO trebali surađivati i zajednički poraziti Al-Qa’idu.
- Mi ćemo surađivati. Mi ćemo slušati. Mi ćemo savjetovati. Americi treba svijet, kao što smatram i da svijetu treba Amerika - zaključio je Biden.
Naglasio je i kako promjene ne znače da Amerika neće štititi nacionalnu sigurnost.
- Nema nikakvog sukoba između naših ideala i naše sigurnosti. Vojne su snage osigurale samostalnost i u našoj povijesti, vojne su snage zaštitile našu slobodu - podsjetio je Biden.
Naglasio je kako će SAD trebati pomoć europskih partnera. Rekao je kako Amerika očekuje da će europske zemlje prihvatiti zatvorenike Guantanama. Što se tiče Irana, američki potpredsjednik naglasio je kako treba uvjeriti tu zemlju da obustavi nuklearni program.
- Mi smo spremni razgovarati s Iranom i ponuditi vrlo jasan prijedlog: ”Ako nastavite sa svojim dosadašnjim aktivnostima, bit će mnogo pritiska i izolacije. Obustavite nuklearni program i pomoć terorizmu i imat ćete podršku!” – poručio je Biden Iranu.
Biden se osvrnuo i na stanje u Afganistanu i naglasio kako toj zemlji treba osigurati sigurnu budućnost. Međutim, rekao je kako je to nemoguće bez Pakistana.
Američki potpredsjednik rekao je i kako treba pronaći rješenje za sukob Palestinaca i Izraela. Prema njegovim riječima, rješenje su dvije države.
