Amazon je najavio otvaranje tisuću radnih mjesta u Irskoj tijekom sljedeće dvije godine, objavila je u ponedjeljak irska agencije za promicanje stranih ulaganja IDA Ireland.

Očekuje se da će se time broj zaposlenih u irskom Amazonu povećati na 5.000, a uglavnom se radi o inženjerskim i tehničkim radnim mjestima.

Primijetili smo rast potražnje za uslugama "u oblaku" u Irskoj i širom svijeta, te smo uzbuđeni da možemo dodati tisuću radnih mjesta za visokokvalificirane, rekao je menadžer Amazona za Irsku Mike Beary.

Američki Amazon uložit će i u informatički centar za poslovanje u oblaku koji će 2022. u Dublinu započeti s radom, navodi u priopćenju IDA Ireland.

Irski premijer Micheal Martin izjavio je da tom najavom "jača irska reputacija vodeće nacije u svjetskoj tehnologiji".

Irski porez na dobit od 12,5 posto je drugi najniži u Europskoj uniji, te je pomogao u privlačenju američkih multinacionalnih korporacija poput Facebooka, Googlea i Twittera. Dana 15. srpnja su Irska i Apple, koji zapošljava oko 6.000 ljudi u toj zemlji, dobili spor na Glavnom sudu EU-a nakon što je Europska komisija zatražila povrat od oko 15 milijardi dolara poreza za kojeg je smatrala da joj Apple duguje.

Prema podacima IDA Irelanda, strana ulaganja u Irskoj zaslužna su za otvaranje oko 250.000 radnih mjesta.
No ta agencija upozorava da zemlju čeka borba za strana ulaganja, nakon oštrog pada uslijed pandemije koronavirusa.
Europska unija procijenila je da će irsko gospodarstvo ove godine pasti za osam posto, s središnja Bank of Ireland na 14 posto.
"Moramo ljude vratiti na posao, te zaštititi i stvarati održiva radna mjesta", naglasio je u ponedjeljak premijer Martin.

Amazon je najavio otvaranje tisuću radnih mjesta u Irskoj tijekom sljedeće dvije godine, objavila je u ponedjeljak irska agencije za promicanje stranih ulaganja IDA Ireland.

Očekuje se da će se time broj zaposlenih u irskom Amazonu povećati na 5.000, a uglavnom se radi o inženjerskim i tehničkim radnim mjestima.

Primijetili smo rast potražnje za uslugama "u oblaku" u Irskoj i širom svijeta, te smo uzbuđeni da možemo dodati tisuću radnih mjesta za visokokvalificirane, rekao je menadžer Amazona za Irsku Mike Beary.

Američki Amazon uložit će i u informatički centar za poslovanje u oblaku koji će 2022. u Dublinu započeti s radom, navodi u priopćenju IDA Ireland.

Irski premijer Micheal Martin izjavio je da tom najavom "jača irska reputacija vodeće nacije u svjetskoj tehnologiji".

Irski porez na dobit od 12,5 posto je drugi najniži u Europskoj uniji, te je pomogao u privlačenju američkih multinacionalnih korporacija poput Facebooka, Googlea i Twittera. Dana 15. srpnja su Irska i Apple, koji zapošljava oko 6.000 ljudi u toj zemlji, dobili spor na Glavnom sudu EU-a nakon što je Europska komisija zatražila povrat od oko 15 milijardi dolara poreza za kojeg je smatrala da joj Apple duguje.

Prema podacima IDA Irelanda, strana ulaganja u Irskoj zaslužna su za otvaranje oko 250.000 radnih mjesta.
No ta agencija upozorava da zemlju čeka borba za strana ulaganja, nakon oštrog pada uslijed pandemije koronavirusa.
Europska unija procijenila je da će irsko gospodarstvo ove godine pasti za osam posto, s središnja Bank of Ireland na 14 posto.
"Moramo ljude vratiti na posao, te zaštititi i stvarati održiva radna mjesta", naglasio je u ponedjeljak premijer Martin.

Amazon je najavio otvaranje tisuću radnih mjesta u Irskoj tijekom sljedeće dvije godine, objavila je u ponedjeljak irska agencije za promicanje stranih ulaganja IDA Ireland.

Očekuje se da će se time broj zaposlenih u irskom Amazonu povećati na 5.000, a uglavnom se radi o inženjerskim i tehničkim radnim mjestima.

Primijetili smo rast potražnje za uslugama "u oblaku" u Irskoj i širom svijeta, te smo uzbuđeni da možemo dodati tisuću radnih mjesta za visokokvalificirane, rekao je menadžer Amazona za Irsku Mike Beary.

Američki Amazon uložit će i u informatički centar za poslovanje u oblaku koji će 2022. u Dublinu započeti s radom, navodi u priopćenju IDA Ireland.
