Desničare se u pravilu doživljava kao odvažne, čvrste, snažne, otporne i nepokolebljive karaktere. Ljevičari, pak, uživaju u sasvim suprotnoj reputaciji, na glasu su kao meki, ranjivi, sentimentalni, plahi i nepouzdani tipovi.

Prvi ulijevaju povjerenje i sigurnost, drugi izazivaju zebnju i sažaljenje. Tako barem stvari stoje u teoriji. No na terenu prakse, osobito naše, to baš i nema prevelike veze s pameću. Iskustvo nam, naime, govori da su hrvatski desničari ustvari sušta suprotnost tome alfamužjačkom klišeju.

Razmotrimo, recimo, njihovu tobožnju odvažnost. Smije li se ljude čiji je programski forte obračun s migrantima zvati hrabrima? Na prvi pogled, to se uistinu može tako činiti. Onaj tko ne preza od sukoba, čak ni oružanih, nego ih, dapače, zaziva i potiče, trebao bi raspolagati relativno ozbiljnom dozom kuražnosti. No to je, bojim se, samo privid. Jer desničarski pozivi na konačno rješenje migrantskog pitanja uzimanjem pravde - dakle, oružja - u svoje ruke pogonjeni su strahom koji oni niti ne skrivaju.

U pothranjenim i musavim nesretnicima koji preko naših šuma i gora pokušavaju izbiti dalje na zapad oni vide prijetnju, i to ne bilo kakvu, nego zamalo konačnu. Jer dođoši napadaju u dva smjera, ugrožavaju živote naših zemljaka iz pograničnih područja, ali i našu kulturu kao takvu, do srži obilježenu vrijednostima Katoličke crkve. Ako se ne trgnemo, nestat ćemo, s neskrivenom dozom panike zaključuju naši građani koji zanose udesno. To se meni baš i ne čini kao primjer hrabrog držanja.

Da hrvatskoj desnici kronično fali odvažnosti, posvjedočit će i drukčiji uvidi, na primjer, njezino držanje u raspravama koje se ne tiču pitanja ni osobne ni nacionalne sigurnosti. Oni se, naime, ne plaše samo kolona gladnih nesretnika koji prema nama nadiru iz opustošenih zemalja, nego i slova čije im je porijeklo sumnjivo, pa bi ga rado podvrgnuli testu domoljubne čistoće. Zato se zauzimaju za donošenje Zakona o jeziku.

Kao što vjeruju da ilegalni prelasci granica većeg broja tuđinaca mogu dovesti u pitanje našu sigurnost i budućnost, tako vjeruju da bi nam i šverc tuđih riječi mogao doći glave. A kako strane imenice, glagole i pridjeve ne možeš ščepati za vrat, pa ih dobro izbubati, da im više nikada ne padne na pamet motati se po djevičanski čistom hrvatskom teritoriju, ne preostaje nam ništa drugo nego donijeti zakon koji će predvidjeti sveobuhvatne mjere za obuzdavanje ilegalnog uvoza poganih rječetina.

Gdje god se osvrnuli, koju god temu načeli, opazit ćemo da ispred i iza svake desničarske inicijative leži strah. On je ustvari jedini sadržaj kojim tvrdi konzervativci raspolažu, kada bi se iz njihovih programa prosijale sve bojazni, fobije, strepnje i zazori, ne bi preostalo ništa. Program desnice program je plašenja, kada bi oni odustali od ambicije da u ljudima raspiruju strahove - što dublje i veće, to bolje – odustali bi od sebe samih.

Desničare se u pravilu doživljava kao odvažne, čvrste, snažne, otporne i nepokolebljive karaktere. Ljevičari, pak, uživaju u sasvim suprotnoj reputaciji, na glasu su kao meki, ranjivi, sentimentalni, plahi i nepouzdani tipovi.

Prvi ulijevaju povjerenje i sigurnost, drugi izazivaju zebnju i sažaljenje. Tako barem stvari stoje u teoriji. No na terenu prakse, osobito naše, to baš i nema prevelike veze s pameću. Iskustvo nam, naime, govori da su hrvatski desničari ustvari sušta suprotnost tome alfamužjačkom klišeju.

Razmotrimo, recimo, njihovu tobožnju odvažnost. Smije li se ljude čiji je programski forte obračun s migrantima zvati hrabrima? Na prvi pogled, to se uistinu može tako činiti. Onaj tko ne preza od sukoba, čak ni oružanih, nego ih, dapače, zaziva i potiče, trebao bi raspolagati relativno ozbiljnom dozom kuražnosti. No to je, bojim se, samo privid. Jer desničarski pozivi na konačno rješenje migrantskog pitanja uzimanjem pravde - dakle, oružja - u svoje ruke pogonjeni su strahom koji oni niti ne skrivaju.

U pothranjenim i musavim nesretnicima koji preko naših šuma i gora pokušavaju izbiti dalje na zapad oni vide prijetnju, i to ne bilo kakvu, nego zamalo konačnu. Jer dođoši napadaju u dva smjera, ugrožavaju živote naših zemljaka iz pograničnih područja, ali i našu kulturu kao takvu, do srži obilježenu vrijednostima Katoličke crkve. Ako se ne trgnemo, nestat ćemo, s neskrivenom dozom panike zaključuju naši građani koji zanose udesno. To se meni baš i ne čini kao primjer hrabrog držanja.

Da hrvatskoj desnici kronično fali odvažnosti, posvjedočit će i drukčiji uvidi, na primjer, njezino držanje u raspravama koje se ne tiču pitanja ni osobne ni nacionalne sigurnosti. Oni se, naime, ne plaše samo kolona gladnih nesretnika koji prema nama nadiru iz opustošenih zemalja, nego i slova čije im je porijeklo sumnjivo, pa bi ga rado podvrgnuli testu domoljubne čistoće. Zato se zauzimaju za donošenje Zakona o jeziku.

Kao što vjeruju da ilegalni prelasci granica većeg broja tuđinaca mogu dovesti u pitanje našu sigurnost i budućnost, tako vjeruju da bi nam i šverc tuđih riječi mogao doći glave. A kako strane imenice, glagole i pridjeve ne možeš ščepati za vrat, pa ih dobro izbubati, da im više nikada ne padne na pamet motati se po djevičanski čistom hrvatskom teritoriju, ne preostaje nam ništa drugo nego donijeti zakon koji će predvidjeti sveobuhvatne mjere za obuzdavanje ilegalnog uvoza poganih rječetina.

Gdje god se osvrnuli, koju god temu načeli, opazit ćemo da ispred i iza svake desničarske inicijative leži strah. On je ustvari jedini sadržaj kojim tvrdi konzervativci raspolažu, kada bi se iz njihovih programa prosijale sve bojazni, fobije, strepnje i zazori, ne bi preostalo ništa. Program desnice program je plašenja, kada bi oni odustali od ambicije da u ljudima raspiruju strahove - što dublje i veće, to bolje – odustali bi od sebe samih.
