Na stolove zastupnika Europskog parlamenta pristigao je sredinom siječnja prijedlog amandmana na Izvješće o zajedničkoj sigurnosnoj i obrambenoj politici, koji poziva na "hitne, intenzivne i održive diplomatske napore za okončanje rata u Ukrajini te okončanje patnje ukrajinskog naroda". Autori ovoga poziva na diplomaciju tri su europarlamentarca: Clare Daly, Mike Wallace i Marc Botenga, članovi Ljevice toga zastupničkog doma.

Na samom glasanju je, od 630 glasova, više od 470 zastupnika odbilo glasati za mirovno rješenje koje ovaj dokument predlaže. Među njima su bili i svi hrvatski parlamentarci, osim jednoga.

Zbog kojeg je razloga toliki broj europarlamentaraca odbio glasati za amandman čijem se sadržaju teško može što prigovoriti? Pitali smo to sve hrvatske zastupnike (koji su pristupili glasanju), no odgovorila su nam tek trojica: Karlo Ressler i Željana Zovko (HDZ) te Ivan Vilibor Sinčić, jedini Hrvat koji je glasao "za".

- Ukrajina, unatoč pomoći Zapada, ne može odnijeti vojnu pobjedu u ovom ratu i NATO-ova strategija kako će se mir postići slanjem oružja je unaprijed osuđena na neuspjeh. Za Rusiju je ovo egzistencijalan rat i zna da ne smije izgubiti, a ukrajinska vojska je pretrpila minimalno 150.000 poginulih i još višestruko toliko ranjenih, zarobljenih, nestalih... I one puste sankcije su se pokazale besmislene jer, osim što nisu nanijele ozbiljniju štetu Rusiji, nego jer i energeti nastavljaju dolaziti u Europu preko trećih zemalja, ali mnogo skuplje, nastavljajući dezintegraciju europske industrije i konkurentnosti - objašnjava Sinčić.

Prenosi nam da opće raspoloženje u Europskom parlamentu nije racionalno te kako većina poziva na nove sankcije i slanje vojne pomoći - koliko god dugo treba - nije promišljena jer su velike nestašice streljiva i na Zapadu.

- Moja pobuda za zalaganje za mir jest stav da je to jedna od najvećih civilizacijskih vrijednosti, ali je tu i želja za očuvanjem ukrajinskog naroda i države. Ovaj rat prijeti uništenju oboje. Kad bi se ovoliki napor, kakav se ulaže u rat, uložio u mirovnu diplomatsku inicijativu, on bi odavno završio - smatra predsjednik Ključa Hrvatske.

Suprotnog mišljenja je Karlo Ressler, poznatiji i kao "mlad lav" HDZ-a.

- Od početka brutalne ruske agresije na Ukrajinu, Europska unija se jasno odredila. Stojimo na strani ukrajinskog naroda koji se bori za svoju slobodu i opstojnost, kao i naš hrvatski narod prije tri desetljeća. Humanitarno, financijski i vojno države članice pomažu Ukrajini, uz svijest o povijesnoj lekciji da popuštanje pred teritorijalnim posezanjima i tiranijom nije održivo rješenje - javljaju nam iz njegovog ureda.

Pritom, HDZ napominje da su zastupnici, kako kažu, "radikalne ljevice", koji su autori spomenutog amandmana, u više navrata odbili osuditi rusku agresiju, podržati sankcije protiv ruskog ratnog stroja, protive se i nevojnoj pomoći Ukrajini, ali i prijedlogu o dokumentiranju zločina ruske agresije, zbog čega supstancijalno ne sudjeluju u usuglašavanju političkih stajališta Europskog parlamenta niti izravno utječu na konačni tekst dokumenta.

- Stoga, velika većina zastupnika, kao i zastupnik Ressler, redovito ne podržava amandmane radikalne ljevice - javlja voditelj kabineta 33-godišnjeg HDZ-ovca.

Njegova stranačka kolegica Željana Zovko dijeli isto mišljenje.

- Na prvi pogled spomenuti amandman poziva na diplomatsko rješenje i hitne pregovore, no između redaka slijedi narativ Kremlja da sukob treba privremeno zamrznuti. Slijedeći politiku EPP-a koja se ne slaže sa stavom Lijeve grupacije, nisam podržala navedeni amandman. No, to ne znači da se protivim diplomaciji. Zapravo, trenutno izrađujem izvješće u Odboru za vanjske poslove koje poziva na jaču europsku preventivnu diplomaciju i objavit ću članak o tome u nadolazećem mjesecu - javlja Zovko.

Nije propustila napomenuti ni da, kao izvjestiteljica Europskog parlamenta za izvješće o odnosima s Azerbajdžanom, otvoreno pozdravlja europske posredničke napore oko mogućeg mirovnog sporazuma između Armenije i Azerbajdžana te kako je pozvala Azerbajdžan da zaustavi blokadu koridora Lachin, jer postoji opasnost od stvaranja humanitarne katastrofe.

Na stolove zastupnika Europskog parlamenta pristigao je sredinom siječnja prijedlog amandmana na Izvješće o zajedničkoj sigurnosnoj i obrambenoj politici, koji poziva na "hitne, intenzivne i održive diplomatske napore za okončanje rata u Ukrajini te okončanje patnje ukrajinskog naroda". Autori ovoga poziva na diplomaciju tri su europarlamentarca: Clare Daly, Mike Wallace i Marc Botenga, članovi Ljevice toga zastupničkog doma.

Na samom glasanju je, od 630 glasova, više od 470 zastupnika odbilo glasati za mirovno rješenje koje ovaj dokument predlaže. Među njima su bili i svi hrvatski parlamentarci, osim jednoga.

Zbog kojeg je razloga toliki broj europarlamentaraca odbio glasati za amandman čijem se sadržaju teško može što prigovoriti? Pitali smo to sve hrvatske zastupnike (koji su pristupili glasanju), no odgovorila su nam tek trojica: Karlo Ressler i Željana Zovko (HDZ) te Ivan Vilibor Sinčić, jedini Hrvat koji je glasao "za".

- Ukrajina, unatoč pomoći Zapada, ne može odnijeti vojnu pobjedu u ovom ratu i NATO-ova strategija kako će se mir postići slanjem oružja je unaprijed osuđena na neuspjeh. Za Rusiju je ovo egzistencijalan rat i zna da ne smije izgubiti, a ukrajinska vojska je pretrpila minimalno 150.000 poginulih i još višestruko toliko ranjenih, zarobljenih, nestalih... I one puste sankcije su se pokazale besmislene jer, osim što nisu nanijele ozbiljniju štetu Rusiji, nego jer i energeti nastavljaju dolaziti u Europu preko trećih zemalja, ali mnogo skuplje, nastavljajući dezintegraciju europske industrije i konkurentnosti - objašnjava Sinčić.

Prenosi nam da opće raspoloženje u Europskom parlamentu nije racionalno te kako većina poziva na nove sankcije i slanje vojne pomoći - koliko god dugo treba - nije promišljena jer su velike nestašice streljiva i na Zapadu.

- Moja pobuda za zalaganje za mir jest stav da je to jedna od najvećih civilizacijskih vrijednosti, ali je tu i želja za očuvanjem ukrajinskog naroda i države. Ovaj rat prijeti uništenju oboje. Kad bi se ovoliki napor, kakav se ulaže u rat, uložio u mirovnu diplomatsku inicijativu, on bi odavno završio - smatra predsjednik Ključa Hrvatske.

Suprotnog mišljenja je Karlo Ressler, poznatiji i kao "mlad lav" HDZ-a.

- Od početka brutalne ruske agresije na Ukrajinu, Europska unija se jasno odredila. Stojimo na strani ukrajinskog naroda koji se bori za svoju slobodu i opstojnost, kao i naš hrvatski narod prije tri desetljeća. Humanitarno, financijski i vojno države članice pomažu Ukrajini, uz svijest o povijesnoj lekciji da popuštanje pred teritorijalnim posezanjima i tiranijom nije održivo rješenje - javljaju nam iz njegovog ureda.

Pritom, HDZ napominje da su zastupnici, kako kažu, "radikalne ljevice", koji su autori spomenutog amandmana, u više navrata odbili osuditi rusku agresiju, podržati sankcije protiv ruskog ratnog stroja, protive se i nevojnoj pomoći Ukrajini, ali i prijedlogu o dokumentiranju zločina ruske agresije, zbog čega supstancijalno ne sudjeluju u usuglašavanju političkih stajališta Europskog parlamenta niti izravno utječu na konačni tekst dokumenta.

- Stoga, velika većina zastupnika, kao i zastupnik Ressler, redovito ne podržava amandmane radikalne ljevice - javlja voditelj kabineta 33-godišnjeg HDZ-ovca.

Njegova stranačka kolegica Željana Zovko dijeli isto mišljenje.

- Na prvi pogled spomenuti amandman poziva na diplomatsko rješenje i hitne pregovore, no između redaka slijedi narativ Kremlja da sukob treba privremeno zamrznuti. Slijedeći politiku EPP-a koja se ne slaže sa stavom Lijeve grupacije, nisam podržala navedeni amandman. No, to ne znači da se protivim diplomaciji. Zapravo, trenutno izrađujem izvješće u Odboru za vanjske poslove koje poziva na jaču europsku preventivnu diplomaciju i objavit ću članak o tome u nadolazećem mjesecu - javlja Zovko.

Nije propustila napomenuti ni da, kao izvjestiteljica Europskog parlamenta za izvješće o odnosima s Azerbajdžanom, otvoreno pozdravlja europske posredničke napore oko mogućeg mirovnog sporazuma između Armenije i Azerbajdžana te kako je pozvala Azerbajdžan da zaustavi blokadu koridora Lachin, jer postoji opasnost od stvaranja humanitarne katastrofe.
