Europska komisija je, naime, napismeno obećala da će brzo biti donesena odluka kojom bi se omogućilo jednostrano priznanje Hrvatske, odnosno da su određeni osobni dokumenti ekvivalentni njezinim nacionalnim vizama.

To bi, uz sporazume EU sa zemljama poput Rusije, Turske ili Ukrajine u doglednoj budućnosti trebalo ukloniti administrativne prepreke za dolazak u našu zemlju velikome broju stranih turista.

Ovo obećanje koje je Hrvatima odaslala povjerenica za unutarnje poslove Europske komisije Cecilia Malmström posljedica je zastupničkog pitanja koje im je nedavno postavio SDP-ov europarlamentarac Tonino Picula. On je od Komisije bio zatražio pojašnjenje predloženih mjera nakon iznesenih službenih procjena da je EU samo u 2012. godini izgubila 6, 6 milijuna potencijalnih turista zbog neliberaliziranog viznog režima prema trećim zemaljama.

Uvidjevši pogrešku, Komisija je pristala na reviziju dosadašnje vizne politike prema građanima trećih zemalja koja se odnosi na njihov ulazak i boravak u tzv. prostoru Schengena, a sve kako kruti propisi ne bi i dalje ugrožavali interese turističke privrede i europskoga gospodarstva općenito.

Picula je u svom pitanju Komisiji pametno zaigrao na europsku ekonomsku kartu, navodeći kako je razlog za reviziju viznog režima više nego opravdan nakon procjena da bi liberalnija politika u narednih pet godina u EU turizmu mogla otvoriti čak 1,3 milijuna novih radnih mjesta i ostvariti profit od 130 milijardi eura, što je gotovo ravno godišnjem europskom proračunu.

Nije propustio naglasiti ni da je turizam izuzetno važan i najmlađoj članici Unije čiji su prihodi od turizma u 2013. iznosili 7,2 milijarde eura, a što čini 16, 5 posto godišnjeg hrvatskog BDP-a.

Europska komisija je, naime, napismeno obećala da će brzo biti donesena odluka kojom bi se omogućilo jednostrano priznanje Hrvatske, odnosno da su određeni osobni dokumenti ekvivalentni njezinim nacionalnim vizama.

To bi, uz sporazume EU sa zemljama poput Rusije, Turske ili Ukrajine u doglednoj budućnosti trebalo ukloniti administrativne prepreke za dolazak u našu zemlju velikome broju stranih turista.

Ovo obećanje koje je Hrvatima odaslala povjerenica za unutarnje poslove Europske komisije Cecilia Malmström posljedica je zastupničkog pitanja koje im je nedavno postavio SDP-ov europarlamentarac Tonino Picula. On je od Komisije bio zatražio pojašnjenje predloženih mjera nakon iznesenih službenih procjena da je EU samo u 2012. godini izgubila 6, 6 milijuna potencijalnih turista zbog neliberaliziranog viznog režima prema trećim zemaljama.

Uvidjevši pogrešku, Komisija je pristala na reviziju dosadašnje vizne politike prema građanima trećih zemalja koja se odnosi na njihov ulazak i boravak u tzv. prostoru Schengena, a sve kako kruti propisi ne bi i dalje ugrožavali interese turističke privrede i europskoga gospodarstva općenito.

Picula je u svom pitanju Komisiji pametno zaigrao na europsku ekonomsku kartu, navodeći kako je razlog za reviziju viznog režima više nego opravdan nakon procjena da bi liberalnija politika u narednih pet godina u EU turizmu mogla otvoriti čak 1,3 milijuna novih radnih mjesta i ostvariti profit od 130 milijardi eura, što je gotovo ravno godišnjem europskom proračunu.

Nije propustio naglasiti ni da je turizam izuzetno važan i najmlađoj članici Unije čiji su prihodi od turizma u 2013. iznosili 7,2 milijarde eura, a što čini 16, 5 posto godišnjeg hrvatskog BDP-a.

Jako dobre vijesti iz Bruxellesa stižu za hrvatske hotelijere, te sve turističke i agencijske radnike: turisti i poslovni ljudi iz trećih zemalja uskoro će lakše ulaziti u Hrvatsku. Europska komisija je, naime, napismeno obećala da će brzo biti donesena odluka kojom bi se omogućilo jednostrano priznanje Hrvatske, odnosno da su određeni osobni dokumenti ekvivalentni njezinim nacionalnim vizama.
