Odgovarajući na novinarski upit kako komentira reakcije iz nekih braniteljskih krugova da je izostala žešća retorika njega i generala Gotovine, kazao je kako "u njegovom srcu nema mržnje ni želje za osvetom i da svatko tko u svom srcu želi jačati mržnju i osvetu, ne može očekivati bolju budućnost".

General Mladen Markač posjetio je danas na poziv gradonačelnika Zorana Vinkovića Đakovo, a susretu su nazočili osječko-baranjski župan Vladimir Šišljagić, gradonačelnik Osijeka Krešimir Bubalo te predstavnici policije i Hrvatske vojske.

Novinarima je nakon susreta kazao da se razgovaralo o prošlosti, stradanjima u ratu, haaškom pritvoru njega i generala Gotovine.

"Zahvalan sam svim Đakovčanima i Slavoncima na podršci koju su nam davali dok smo bili haaškom pritvoru", kazao je Markač.

Ponovio je kako je Haaški sud oslobađajućom presudom jasno potvrdio kako je Hrvatska vodila obrambeni, oslobodilački rat.

Također je ponovio da nema političkih ambicija, da će se angažirati na humanitarnim aktivnostima, te da je ponosan na hrvatsku policiju.

Tijekom boravka u Đakovu, general Markač se u pratnji domaćina susreo u Nadbiskupskom dvoru sa đakovačko-osječkim nadbiskupom mons. Marinom Srakićem s kojim je također razgovarao iza zatvorenih vrata.

Odgovarajući na novinarski upit kako komentira reakcije iz nekih braniteljskih krugova da je izostala žešća retorika njega i generala Gotovine, kazao je kako "u njegovom srcu nema mržnje ni želje za osvetom i da svatko tko u svom srcu želi jačati mržnju i osvetu, ne može očekivati bolju budućnost".

General Mladen Markač posjetio je danas na poziv gradonačelnika Zorana Vinkovića Đakovo, a susretu su nazočili osječko-baranjski župan Vladimir Šišljagić, gradonačelnik Osijeka Krešimir Bubalo te predstavnici policije i Hrvatske vojske.

Novinarima je nakon susreta kazao da se razgovaralo o prošlosti, stradanjima u ratu, haaškom pritvoru njega i generala Gotovine.

"Zahvalan sam svim Đakovčanima i Slavoncima na podršci koju su nam davali dok smo bili haaškom pritvoru", kazao je Markač.

Ponovio je kako je Haaški sud oslobađajućom presudom jasno potvrdio kako je Hrvatska vodila obrambeni, oslobodilački rat.

Također je ponovio da nema političkih ambicija, da će se angažirati na humanitarnim aktivnostima, te da je ponosan na hrvatsku policiju.

Tijekom boravka u Đakovu, general Markač se u pratnji domaćina susreo u Nadbiskupskom dvoru sa đakovačko-osječkim nadbiskupom mons. Marinom Srakićem s kojim je također razgovarao iza zatvorenih vrata.

General Mladen Markač kazao je danas Đakovu kako u njegovom srcu nema mržnje ni želje za osvetom.

Odgovarajući na novinarski upit kako komentira reakcije iz nekih braniteljskih krugova da je izostala žešća retorika njega i generala Gotovine, kazao je kako "u njegovom srcu nema mržnje ni želje za osvetom i da svatko tko u svom srcu želi jačati mržnju i osvetu, ne može očekivati bolju budućnost".
