Za mnoge ljude život bez pristupa Internetu više nije zamisliv jer o tome im ovisi cijeli društveni i ekonomski život.

Korisnici pametnih telefona mogu surfati internetom i izvan vlastita četiri zida putem javnih WiFi točaka, ali većina korisnika kontaktnih točaka nije ni svjesna koliko opasno može biti prijavljivanje na besplatne, javne hotspot prostore. Tehnički stručnjaci diljem svijeta stoga savjetuju isključivanje određenih postavki na telefonu.

Hakeri presreću tokove podataka između krajnjeg uređaja i mreže

Aktiviranje WLAN funkcije nosi sa sobom neke opasnosti. Ako ostavite svoj WLAN stalno uključen, to potencijalnim hakerima i kriminalcima olakšava pristup uređaju i stoga imaju neograničen pristup vašim osobnim podacima, prenosi Fenix magazin.

Kako biste se mogli tajno prijaviti na javnu mrežu i izbjegli da vas hakeri uhvate, Kaspersky preporučuje vezu s virtualnom privatnom mrežom (VPN). Razlog: prema tvrtki za kibernetičku sigurnost Kaspersky, ne postoji enkripcija u javnim i besplatnim Wi-Fi mrežama, tako da tajne podatke o pristupu e-pošti ili bankovnim računima hakeri mogu presresti bez ikakvih problema.

Hakeri se infiltriraju između korisničkog uređaja i javne WiFi točke, a da korisnik ili mreža ništa ne primijete. To znači da pametni telefon od sada ne komunicira izravno s hotspotom, već svoje podatke prvo šalje hakeru, koji ih potom prosljeđuje mreži. To kriminalcima daje neograničen pristup svim prenesenim podacima jer, prema Kasperskyju, autentifikacija nije potrebna prilikom spajanja na javnu mrežu.

Stoga tehnološka stručnjakinja Caroline Lee iz sigurnosne tvrtke CocoSign savjetuje deaktiviranje nekih funkcija na mobitelu prije nego što dođe do štetnih napada na vlastite podatke.

“Držite svoj telefon skrivenim od drugih uređaja kada koristite javni WiFi”, apelira Lee na sve vlasnike pametnih telefona. Prema cyber stručnjakinji Lee, ovo zahtijeva neke postavke mobilnog telefona u WiFi području.

” WiFi postavka koju trebate onemogućiti je dijeljenje datoteka i pisač ako ste na javnoj WiFi mreži. To će vam pomoći da izbjegnete ugrožavanje podataka, spriječite i zaštitite svoje uređaj”, objašnjava Lee, prema izvješćima iz Futurezone.

Instalirajte VPN

Kako biste se mogli tajno prijaviti na javnu mrežu i izbjegli da vas hakeri uhvate, Kaspersky preporučuje vezu s virtualnom privatnom mrežom (VPN). Jer čak i kad bi haker uspio provaliti u sustav, kriminalci mogu koristiti samo VPN za presretanje visoko šifriranih podataka, što je obično teško učiniti.

Međutim, Miklos Zoltan, CEO i sigurnosni istraživač u Privacy Affairs, smatra da to nije dovoljno. Prema tehnološkom stručnjaku, kako biste spriječili da se pametni telefon automatski poveže s javnom mrežom ili kako biste spriječili javni WLAN hardver da automatski komunicira s vašim vlastitim uređajem, nije dovoljno jednostavno deaktivirati nekoliko WIFI postavki.

Za mnoge ljude život bez pristupa Internetu više nije zamisliv jer o tome im ovisi cijeli društveni i ekonomski život.

Korisnici pametnih telefona mogu surfati internetom i izvan vlastita četiri zida putem javnih WiFi točaka, ali većina korisnika kontaktnih točaka nije ni svjesna koliko opasno može biti prijavljivanje na besplatne, javne hotspot prostore. Tehnički stručnjaci diljem svijeta stoga savjetuju isključivanje određenih postavki na telefonu.

Hakeri presreću tokove podataka između krajnjeg uređaja i mreže

Aktiviranje WLAN funkcije nosi sa sobom neke opasnosti. Ako ostavite svoj WLAN stalno uključen, to potencijalnim hakerima i kriminalcima olakšava pristup uređaju i stoga imaju neograničen pristup vašim osobnim podacima, prenosi Fenix magazin.
