Isprva je to bila samo štura vijest u medijima.

U kratkom priopćenju JANAF je koncem rujna obavijestio javnost da je kod Pumpne stanice Melnice, na putu iz Omišlja prema Gorskom kotaru, uočeno onečišćenje okoliša zbog "povrede integriteta manipulativnog cjevovoda niske točke unutar postrojenja".

Da ono ne utječe na sigurnost i rad naftovoda te na kontinuitet transporta. Da se na lokaciji provodi sanacija te da su nadležne institucije obaviještene o događaju i poduzetim mjerama.

Istovremeno dok su pokušali umiriti javnost, u JANAF-u je, po svemu sudeći, vrilo.

Signal iz sustava

Informacije s terena govorile su da je riječ o puno većem curenju nafte nego što se prvobitno činilo. Spominjalo se čak 500 tisuća litara. Gubitak se navodno primijetio čak i na bilanci, što je prilično neuobičajeno budući da JANAF-om teku milijuni litara te da je gubitke moguće uočiti tek kad se radi o golemom curenju.

Sustav za detekciju curenja, koji prepoznaje šumove i prema tome odredi prolazi li nafta cjevovodom bez poteškoća ili negdje curi van, već je neko vrijeme signalizirao da nešto nije u redu, no nitko nije znao o čemu se točno radi. Kako je riječ o cjevovodu koji se nalazi ispod zemlje, kad su djelatnici JANAF-a krenuli otkopavati, uočili su ozbiljnu pukotinu kroz koju je nafta curila van.

A kako je riječ o krškom terenu, isprva nitko nije bio siguran gdje će nafta koja je procurila završiti. Može li izazvati ekološku katastrofu većih razmjera, onečistiti izvore pitke vode, ugroziti živote na tom području...

Kako je, po svemu sudeći, riječ o ozbiljnoj količini nafte, od Uprave JANAF-a zatražili smo odgovore na niz pitanja vezanih uz ovaj slučaj:

- Koliko je nafte prilikom ovog incidenta iscurilo u okoliš?

- Može li ta količina ugroziti izvore pitke vode i što je sve JANAF poduzeo da sanira nastalo onečišćenje?

- Kada je posljednji put napravljen remont i održavanje JANAF-ova sustava na toj lokaciji?

- Koliko je JANAF uložio u održavanje cjevovodnog sustava u posljednje dvije godine te je li se u zadnje dvije godine smanjio broj kooperanata koji su bili angažirani na održavanju cjevovodnog sustava?

"Uočavanjem povrede integriteta manipulativnog cjevovoda niske točke unutar postrojenja na lokaciji JANAF-a, unutar ograde Pumpne stanice Melnice, JANAF je poduzeo sve stručne radnje u cilju sanacije nastalog onečišćenja. Na lokaciji je u postupku sanacija putem ovlaštene tvrtke te je uklonjeno i predano na zbrinjavanje cca 250 t otpada: zemlja i kamenje, razlivena nafta, zauljena voda, izolacija zauljene krpe, brane i sav drugi otpad s tragovima onečišćenja", odgovorili su nam u JANAF-u.

U blizini Pumpne stanice Melnice, prema njihovim riječima, nema izvora pitke vode.

Razrađeni plan

"Redovito se provodi pješački nadzor okoliša te uzorkovanje vode iz vodotokova najbližih Pumpnoj stanici Melnice. Od iznenadnog događaja do 20. listopada 2022. izuzet je 21 uzorak, koji su obrađeni u Zavodu za javno zdravstvo Primorsko-goranske županije te nije utvrđeno onečišćenje vodotokova. Lokalizirano onečišćenje ne utječe na sigurnost i rad naftovoda, kao ni na kontinuitet transporta. Nadležne institucije obaviještene su o događaju i poduzetim mjerama, kao i javnost", ističu u JANAF-u.

Na pitanje o količini nafte koja je iscurila kod Melnica nismo, međutim, dobili odgovor. Pri čemu u JANAF-u brojku od 500 tisuća litara – nisu demantirali.

Osim toga, u JANAF-u su se sve glasnije počeli spominjati i izostanak remonta te smanjenje sredstava za redovito održavanje cjevovoda kao mogući razlozi koji su doveli do toga da cjevovod na pojedinim mjestima korodira i da nafta počne curiti u okoliš kroz pukotine.

"Jadranski naftovod ima razrađeni plan održavanja naftovodnog sustava te se redovito provodi ispitivanje i održavanje cjevovoda u cilju sigurnog i neometanog transporta surađujući s brojnim poslovnim partnerima s kojima ima sklopljene ugovore o izvođenju radova i pružanju usluga, a ugovori su javno i transparentno objavljeni na web stranici kompanije sukladno internim aktima Društva.

Svi segmenti skladišnog i transportnog sustava Jadranskog naftovoda redovito se održavaju u skladu s razrađenim planom, a na spomenutim poslovima angažiran je adekvatan broj zaposlenika JANAF-a i vanjskih partnera. U održavanje cjevovodnog sustava u razdoblju 2020. – 2022. Jadranski naftovod uložio je više od 100 milijuna kuna", zaključuju u JANAF-u.

Pitanje je samo je li to bilo dovoljno da se na vrijeme detektira pukotina kod Melnica. I izbjegne golemi gubitak nafte i ekološka katastrofa.

Isprva je to bila samo štura vijest u medijima.

U kratkom priopćenju JANAF je koncem rujna obavijestio javnost da je kod Pumpne stanice Melnice, na putu iz Omišlja prema Gorskom kotaru, uočeno onečišćenje okoliša zbog "povrede integriteta manipulativnog cjevovoda niske točke unutar postrojenja".

Da ono ne utječe na sigurnost i rad naftovoda te na kontinuitet transporta. Da se na lokaciji provodi sanacija te da su nadležne institucije obaviještene o događaju i poduzetim mjerama.

Istovremeno dok su pokušali umiriti javnost, u JANAF-u je, po svemu sudeći, vrilo.

Signal iz sustava

Informacije s terena govorile su da je riječ o puno većem curenju nafte nego što se prvobitno činilo. Spominjalo se čak 500 tisuća litara. Gubitak se navodno primijetio čak i na bilanci, što je prilično neuobičajeno budući da JANAF-om teku milijuni litara te da je gubitke moguće uočiti tek kad se radi o golemom curenju.

Sustav za detekciju curenja, koji prepoznaje šumove i prema tome odredi prolazi li nafta cjevovodom bez poteškoća ili negdje curi van, već je neko vrijeme signalizirao da nešto nije u redu, no nitko nije znao o čemu se točno radi. Kako je riječ o cjevovodu koji se nalazi ispod zemlje, kad su djelatnici JANAF-a krenuli otkopavati, uočili su ozbiljnu pukotinu kroz koju je nafta curila van.

A kako je riječ o krškom terenu, isprva nitko nije bio siguran gdje će nafta koja je procurila završiti. Može li izazvati ekološku katastrofu većih razmjera, onečistiti izvore pitke vode, ugroziti živote na tom području...

Kako je, po svemu sudeći, riječ o ozbiljnoj količini nafte, od Uprave JANAF-a zatražili smo odgovore na niz pitanja vezanih uz ovaj slučaj:

- Koliko je nafte prilikom ovog incidenta iscurilo u okoliš?

- Može li ta količina ugroziti izvore pitke vode i što je sve JANAF poduzeo da sanira nastalo onečišćenje?

- Kada je posljednji put napravljen remont i održavanje JANAF-ova sustava na toj lokaciji?

- Koliko je JANAF uložio u održavanje cjevovodnog sustava u posljednje dvije godine te je li se u zadnje dvije godine smanjio broj kooperanata koji su bili angažirani na održavanju cjevovodnog sustava?

"Uočavanjem povrede integriteta manipulativnog cjevovoda niske točke unutar postrojenja na lokaciji JANAF-a, unutar ograde Pumpne stanice Melnice, JANAF je poduzeo sve stručne radnje u cilju sanacije nastalog onečišćenja. Na lokaciji je u postupku sanacija putem ovlaštene tvrtke te je uklonjeno i predano na zbrinjavanje cca 250 t otpada: zemlja i kamenje, razlivena nafta, zauljena voda, izolacija zauljene krpe, brane i sav drugi otpad s tragovima onečišćenja", odgovorili su nam u JANAF-u.

U blizini Pumpne stanice Melnice, prema njihovim riječima, nema izvora pitke vode.

Razrađeni plan

"Redovito se provodi pješački nadzor okoliša te uzorkovanje vode iz vodotokova najbližih Pumpnoj stanici Melnice. Od iznenadnog događaja do 20. listopada 2022. izuzet je 21 uzorak, koji su obrađeni u Zavodu za javno zdravstvo Primorsko-goranske županije te nije utvrđeno onečišćenje vodotokova. Lokalizirano onečišćenje ne utječe na sigurnost i rad naftovoda, kao ni na kontinuitet transporta. Nadležne institucije obaviještene su o događaju i poduzetim mjerama, kao i javnost", ističu u JANAF-u.

Na pitanje o količini nafte koja je iscurila kod Melnica nismo, međutim, dobili odgovor. Pri čemu u JANAF-u brojku od 500 tisuća litara – nisu demantirali.

Osim toga, u JANAF-u su se sve glasnije počeli spominjati i izostanak remonta te smanjenje sredstava za redovito održavanje cjevovoda kao mogući razlozi koji su doveli do toga da cjevovod na pojedinim mjestima korodira i da nafta počne curiti u okoliš kroz pukotine.

"Jadranski naftovod ima razrađeni plan održavanja naftovodnog sustava te se redovito provodi ispitivanje i održavanje cjevovoda u cilju sigurnog i neometanog transporta surađujući s brojnim poslovnim partnerima s kojima ima sklopljene ugovore o izvođenju radova i pružanju usluga, a ugovori su javno i transparentno objavljeni na web stranici kompanije sukladno internim aktima Društva.

Svi segmenti skladišnog i transportnog sustava Jadranskog naftovoda redovito se održavaju u skladu s razrađenim planom, a na spomenutim poslovima angažiran je adekvatan broj zaposlenika JANAF-a i vanjskih partnera. U održavanje cjevovodnog sustava u razdoblju 2020. – 2022. Jadranski naftovod uložio je više od 100 milijuna kuna", zaključuju u JANAF-u.

Pitanje je samo je li to bilo dovoljno da se na vrijeme detektira pukotina kod Melnica. I izbjegne golemi gubitak nafte i ekološka katastrofa.
