Višak ponude nad potražnjom nafte trajat će i tijekom prve polovine 2016., objavila je prošlog tjedna Međunarodna agencija za energiju (MAE). Pri tome MAE napominje kako bi se povećanje cijena moglo zabilježiti eventualno tek u četvrtom kvartalu 2016., i to pod uvjetom da Iranu ne budu ukinute sankcije. U suprotnom, veća ponuda od potražnje mogla bi prevladati i poslije 2016. godine.
Naime, pad proizvodnje izvan država OPEC-a (čijih 29 članica proizvodi nešto više od 50 posto godišnje naftne ponude) obilato nadoknađuje povećana proizvodnja Saudijske Arabije i nekih drugih članica OPEC-a, poput Iraka, pa je zbog toga MAE i ustvrdio kako se niske cijene sirove nafte, pa time i naftnih derivata, mogu očekivati i tijekom prvih šest mjeseci iduće godine.
No, bilo kome je teško precizirati hoće li te “niže cijene” biti na sadašnjim razinama od 43,36 dolara po barelu nafte na burzi u New Yorku i 49,2 dolara po barelu na Londonskoj burzi ili će doći do još većeg pada, ili će se cijene stabilizirati na razinama od 50 do 60 dolara po barelu.
Nakon što je cijena nafte pala ispod 50 dolara po barelu prije godinu dana, potražnja za naftom reagirala je brže nego ponuda, ističu u MAE-u. Rezultat toga je da svijet trenutno koristi 1,6 milijuna barela dnevno više nego prošle godine, nakon što su se gospodarstva konsolidirala, a potrošači počeli trošiti više goriva.
S druge strane, također raste ponuda, pogotovo zbog toga što je OPEC u odnosu na prošlu godinu povećao proizvodnju na 31 milijun barela dnevno, najviše u posljednje tri godine. Naime, OPEC je u studenom 2014. donio odluku kako će povećanjem proizvodnje i nižim cijenama nafte braniti svoj tržišni udio u odnosu na proizvođače nafte iz pijeska i škriljevaca iz SAD-a i Kanade, i to bi moglo potrajati do drugog dijela iduće godine, istaknuli su u MAE-u, dodajući kako višak ponude nad potražnjom nafte trenutno iznosi tri milijuna barela dnevno, najviše od 1998. godine. Taj bi suficit ponude mogao pasti na oko 850 tisuća barela dnevno u 2016., i to ako se u igru opet ne uključi Iran.
Ipak, u MAE-u upozoravaju kako bi zbog odgađanja investicija u naftnu proizvodnju, vrijednih 200 milijardi dolara, u srednjoročnom razdoblju moglo doći do prevladavanja potražnje nad ponudom, što bi onda moglo dovesti do jačeg rasta cijena nafte. A zbog nižih cijena nafte i odustajanja od predviđenih investicija naftne su kompanije, kako piše Financial Times, smanjile broj zaposlenih za oko 70 tisuća, ponajprije u Kanadi i Meksičkom zaljevu.
Niža cijena nafte drastično je pogodila i zemlje izvoznice nafte, pogotovo Rusiju i Venezuelu, dok Saudijska Arabija ima velike devizne rezerve kojima kompenzira proračunske minuse, ali i te se rezerve polako počinju trošiti. No, niže cijene nafte dobrodošle su potrošačima, pa je izvješće Capital Economicsa iz svibnja pokazalo kako su potrošači u SAD-u, eurozoni, Velikoj Britaniji i Japanu imali 200 milijardi dolara više zbog uštede na naftnim derivatima.
Za Hrvatsku niže cijene nafte znače da bi neke tvrtke, kao što se već dogodilo, mogle odustati ili prolongirati projekte vezane uz bušenje nafte na Jadranu. Uz to, zemlje izvoznice nafte, pogotovo iz OPEC-a, planiraju do 2018. drastično povećati kapacitete za preradu nafte, pa će njihov izvoz naftnih derivata po nižim cijenama značajno ugroziti ne samo projekt Inine sisačke rafinerije, nego i rafinerije u Rijeci.

Višak ponude nad potražnjom nafte trajat će i tijekom prve polovine 2016., objavila je prošlog tjedna Međunarodna agencija za energiju (MAE). Pri tome MAE napominje kako bi se povećanje cijena moglo zabilježiti eventualno tek u četvrtom kvartalu 2016., i to pod uvjetom da Iranu ne budu ukinute sankcije. U suprotnom, veća ponuda od potražnje mogla bi prevladati i poslije 2016. godine.
Naime, pad proizvodnje izvan država OPEC-a (čijih 29 članica proizvodi nešto više od 50 posto godišnje naftne ponude) obilato nadoknađuje povećana proizvodnja Saudijske Arabije i nekih drugih članica OPEC-a, poput Iraka, pa je zbog toga MAE i ustvrdio kako se niske cijene sirove nafte, pa time i naftnih derivata, mogu očekivati i tijekom prvih šest mjeseci iduće godine.
No, bilo kome je teško precizirati hoće li te “niže cijene” biti na sadašnjim razinama od 43,36 dolara po barelu nafte na burzi u New Yorku i 49,2 dolara po barelu na Londonskoj burzi ili će doći do još većeg pada, ili će se cijene stabilizirati na razinama od 50 do 60 dolara po barelu.
Nakon što je cijena nafte pala ispod 50 dolara po barelu prije godinu dana, potražnja za naftom reagirala je brže nego ponuda, ističu u MAE-u. Rezultat toga je da svijet trenutno koristi 1,6 milijuna barela dnevno više nego prošle godine, nakon što su se gospodarstva konsolidirala, a potrošači počeli trošiti više goriva.
S druge strane, također raste ponuda, pogotovo zbog toga što je OPEC u odnosu na prošlu godinu povećao proizvodnju na 31 milijun barela dnevno, najviše u posljednje tri godine. Naime, OPEC je u studenom 2014. donio odluku kako će povećanjem proizvodnje i nižim cijenama nafte braniti svoj tržišni udio u odnosu na proizvođače nafte iz pijeska i škriljevaca iz SAD-a i Kanade, i to bi moglo potrajati do drugog dijela iduće godine, istaknuli su u MAE-u, dodajući kako višak ponude nad potražnjom nafte trenutno iznosi tri milijuna barela dnevno, najviše od 1998. godine. Taj bi suficit ponude mogao pasti na oko 850 tisuća barela dnevno u 2016., i to ako se u igru opet ne uključi Iran.
Ipak, u MAE-u upozoravaju kako bi zbog odgađanja investicija u naftnu proizvodnju, vrijednih 200 milijardi dolara, u srednjoročnom razdoblju moglo doći do prevladavanja potražnje nad ponudom, što bi onda moglo dovesti do jačeg rasta cijena nafte. A zbog nižih cijena nafte i odustajanja od predviđenih investicija naftne su kompanije, kako piše Financial Times, smanjile broj zaposlenih za oko 70 tisuća, ponajprije u Kanadi i Meksičkom zaljevu.
Niža cijena nafte drastično je pogodila i zemlje izvoznice nafte, pogotovo Rusiju i Venezuelu, dok Saudijska Arabija ima velike devizne rezerve kojima kompenzira proračunske minuse, ali i te se rezerve polako počinju trošiti. No, niže cijene nafte dobrodošle su potrošačima, pa je izvješće Capital Economicsa iz svibnja pokazalo kako su potrošači u SAD-u, eurozoni, Velikoj Britaniji i Japanu imali 200 milijardi dolara više zbog uštede na naftnim derivatima.
Za Hrvatsku niže cijene nafte znače da bi neke tvrtke, kao što se već dogodilo, mogle odustati ili prolongirati projekte vezane uz bušenje nafte na Jadranu. Uz to, zemlje izvoznice nafte, pogotovo iz OPEC-a, planiraju do 2018. drastično povećati kapacitete za preradu nafte, pa će njihov izvoz naftnih derivata po nižim cijenama značajno ugroziti ne samo projekt Inine sisačke rafinerije, nego i rafinerije u Rijeci.
