Polaganjem vijenaca i paljenjem svijeća podno spomen-obilježja državnih i drugih izaslanstava, u Borovu, prijeratnom Borovu Selu, u nedjelju je obilježena 30. obljetnica ubojstva 12 pripadnika vinkovačke Specijalne jedinice policije.

Počast ubijenim policajcima polaganjem cvijeća i upaljenih svijeća odali su članovi obitelji i rodbine te predstavnici udruga policije iz Domovinskog rata.

U ime predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora, polaganjem vijenca i upaljene svijeće, počast ubijenim policajcima odao je saborski zastupnik Nikola Mažar, a predsjednika Vlade potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar hrvatskih branitelja Tomo Medved u pratnji potpredsjednika Vlade i ministra unutarnjih poslova Davora Božinovića te ministra obrane Maria Banožića.

"Danas ovdje stojimo s dužnim poštovanjem, pijetetom, ponizno odajući počast žrtvi dvanaestorice redarstvenika. Svaka žrtva stvara i daje obavezu, a ova posebno i tu obavezu prema žrtvi moramo izvršavati svaki dan radom, pravdom i ljubavi prema domovini za koju su oni dali svoje živote", izjavio je izaslanik predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora Nikola Mažar.

Potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar unutarnjih poslova Davor Božinović ustvrdio je kako je ubojstvo 12 redarstvenika bio jedan od najokrutnijih i najpodlijih zločina u razdoblju koji je povijest kasnije označila prvom fazom agresije na Republiku Hrvatsku.

"Sjećamo se svih hrvatskih branitelja i s ponosom se sjećamo i uloge hrvatske policije koja je u tim prvim razdobljima rata odigrala ključnu ulogu u obrani Hrvatske. Bila je glavna meta i dala je prvu žrtvu Josipa Jovića, ali i prvu kolektivnu žrtvu, dvanaest redarstvenika", kazao je Božinović.

Rekao je kako je Republika Hrvatska nastala na žrtvi poginulih branitelja u Domovinskom ratu.

Po riječima Matije Mičića, bivšeg specijalca koji je sudjelovao u akciji hrvatske policije u Borovu i bio je ranjen, skupina pripadnika vinkovačke Specijalne policije dobila je zadatak da 2. svibnja ide u Borovu kao osiguranje radi dvojice policajaca koji su dan ranije pripadnici srpskih paravojnih postrojbi zarobili u Borovu.

"Kada smo ušli u selo automatski su otvorili paljbu sa svih strana na nas, dizali su se crijepovi od kuća i odatle su nas gađali, bacali su i bombe te tukli po nama rafalno", kazao je Mičić dodajući kako je preživjele vinkovačke specijalce tek oko 17 sati iz sela izvukla bivša JNA transporterima.

Uslijed mjera za suzbijanja pandemije covid-19 u Borovu je izostala tradicionalna komemorativna svečanost, kao i miohod Udruge specijalne policije proizašle iz Domovinskog rata od ulaza u Borovo do spomen-obilježja. Protokolom, izaslanstva koja su odavala počast, izmjenjivala su se svakih pola sata, a prvi su ruže na spomen obilježje položili i svijeće zapalili članovi obitelji i rodbine ubijenih redarstvenika.

U Župnoj crkvi sv. Euzebija i Poliona u Vinkovcima misu zadušnicu služit će policijski vojni kapelan PU vukovarsko-srijemske fra Ivan Begović nakon koje će vijenci biti položeni i svijeće upaljene i podno križa na vinkovačkom Gradskom groblju dok će se u vinkovačkom hotelu Vila Lenije upriličiti komemorativni skup.

Počast dvanaestorici ubijenih pripadnika vinkovačke Specijalne jedinice policije u četvrtak je polaganjem vijenca i paljenjem svijeće podno spomen obilježja u Borovu odao predsjednik Republike Zoran Milanović.

U Borovu je 2. svibnja 1991. godine iz zasjede ubijeno 12 hrvatskih redarstvenika nakon što su došli izbaviti dvojicu svojih kolega koje su tijekom redovite ophodnje u noći s 1. na 2. svibnja zarobili pripadnici srpskih paravojnih postrojbi.

Ubijeni su policajci Stjepan Bošnjak (1955.), Antun Grbavac (1961.), Josip Culej (1966.), Mladen Šarić (1965.), Zdenko Perica (1965.), Zoran Grašić (1969.), Ivica Vučić (1961.), Luka Crnković (1970.), Marinko Petrušić (1966.), Janko Čović (1965.), Željko Hrala (1968.) i Mladen Čatić (1971.). U napadu su ranjena 23 policajca.

Polaganjem vijenaca i paljenjem svijeća podno spomen-obilježja državnih i drugih izaslanstava, u Borovu, prijeratnom Borovu Selu, u nedjelju je obilježena 30. obljetnica ubojstva 12 pripadnika vinkovačke Specijalne jedinice policije.

Počast ubijenim policajcima polaganjem cvijeća i upaljenih svijeća odali su članovi obitelji i rodbine te predstavnici udruga policije iz Domovinskog rata.

U ime predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora, polaganjem vijenca i upaljene svijeće, počast ubijenim policajcima odao je saborski zastupnik Nikola Mažar, a predsjednika Vlade potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar hrvatskih branitelja Tomo Medved u pratnji potpredsjednika Vlade i ministra unutarnjih poslova Davora Božinovića te ministra obrane Maria Banožića.

"Danas ovdje stojimo s dužnim poštovanjem, pijetetom, ponizno odajući počast žrtvi dvanaestorice redarstvenika. Svaka žrtva stvara i daje obavezu, a ova posebno i tu obavezu prema žrtvi moramo izvršavati svaki dan radom, pravdom i ljubavi prema domovini za koju su oni dali svoje živote", izjavio je izaslanik predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora Nikola Mažar.

Potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar unutarnjih poslova Davor Božinović ustvrdio je kako je ubojstvo 12 redarstvenika bio jedan od najokrutnijih i najpodlijih zločina u razdoblju koji je povijest kasnije označila prvom fazom agresije na Republiku Hrvatsku.

"Sjećamo se svih hrvatskih branitelja i s ponosom se sjećamo i uloge hrvatske policije koja je u tim prvim razdobljima rata odigrala ključnu ulogu u obrani Hrvatske. Bila je glavna meta i dala je prvu žrtvu Josipa Jovića, ali i prvu kolektivnu žrtvu, dvanaest redarstvenika", kazao je Božinović.

Rekao je kako je Republika Hrvatska nastala na žrtvi poginulih branitelja u Domovinskom ratu.

Po riječima Matije Mičića, bivšeg specijalca koji je sudjelovao u akciji hrvatske policije u Borovu i bio je ranjen, skupina pripadnika vinkovačke Specijalne policije dobila je zadatak da 2. svibnja ide u Borovu kao osiguranje radi dvojice policajaca koji su dan ranije pripadnici srpskih paravojnih postrojbi zarobili u Borovu.

"Kada smo ušli u selo automatski su otvorili paljbu sa svih strana na nas, dizali su se crijepovi od kuća i odatle su nas gađali, bacali su i bombe te tukli po nama rafalno", kazao je Mičić dodajući kako je preživjele vinkovačke specijalce tek oko 17 sati iz sela izvukla bivša JNA transporterima.

Uslijed mjera za suzbijanja pandemije covid-19 u Borovu je izostala tradicionalna komemorativna svečanost, kao i miohod Udruge specijalne policije proizašle iz Domovinskog rata od ulaza u Borovo do spomen-obilježja. Protokolom, izaslanstva koja su odavala počast, izmjenjivala su se svakih pola sata, a prvi su ruže na spomen obilježje položili i svijeće zapalili članovi obitelji i rodbine ubijenih redarstvenika.

U Župnoj crkvi sv. Euzebija i Poliona u Vinkovcima misu zadušnicu služit će policijski vojni kapelan PU vukovarsko-srijemske fra Ivan Begović nakon koje će vijenci biti položeni i svijeće upaljene i podno križa na vinkovačkom Gradskom groblju dok će se u vinkovačkom hotelu Vila Lenije upriličiti komemorativni skup.

Počast dvanaestorici ubijenih pripadnika vinkovačke Specijalne jedinice policije u četvrtak je polaganjem vijenca i paljenjem svijeće podno spomen obilježja u Borovu odao predsjednik Republike Zoran Milanović.

U Borovu je 2. svibnja 1991. godine iz zasjede ubijeno 12 hrvatskih redarstvenika nakon što su došli izbaviti dvojicu svojih kolega koje su tijekom redovite ophodnje u noći s 1. na 2. svibnja zarobili pripadnici srpskih paravojnih postrojbi.

Ubijeni su policajci Stjepan Bošnjak (1955.), Antun Grbavac (1961.), Josip Culej (1966.), Mladen Šarić (1965.), Zdenko Perica (1965.), Zoran Grašić (1969.), Ivica Vučić (1961.), Luka Crnković (1970.), Marinko Petrušić (1966.), Janko Čović (1965.), Željko Hrala (1968.) i Mladen Čatić (1971.). U napadu su ranjena 23 policajca.

Polaganjem vijenaca i paljenjem svijeća podno spomen-obilježja državnih i drugih izaslanstava, u Borovu, prijeratnom Borovu Selu, u nedjelju je obilježena 30. obljetnica ubojstva 12 pripadnika vinkovačke Specijalne jedinice policije.

Počast ubijenim policajcima polaganjem cvijeća i upaljenih svijeća odali su članovi obitelji i rodbine te predstavnici udruga policije iz Domovinskog rata.

U ime predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora, polaganjem vijenca i upaljene svijeće, počast ubijenim policajcima odao je saborski zastupnik Nikola Mažar, a predsjednika Vlade potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar hrvatskih branitelja Tomo Medved u pratnji potpredsjednika Vlade i ministra unutarnjih poslova Davora Božinovića te ministra obrane Maria Banožića.
