Rektor Sveučilišta u Zagrebu Aleksa Bjeliš upozorio je danas da je to sveučilište zbog gubitaka suočeno s teškom situacijom te da će trebati napraviti neke promjene kako bi oni bili manji.

Rektor je to rekao na konferenciji za novinare nakon sjednice Rektorskog zbora na kojoj je jedna od tema bila studentski standard.

Bjeliš smatra da je još prerano govoriti o tome hoće li se promjene dogoditi već u idućoj akademskoj godini, a uzroke gubitcima vidi, među ostalim, u nesrazmjeru stvarnih i procijenjenih cijena smještaja u studentskim domovima i prehrane u menzama.

Po minimalnom izračunu, prosječna cijena jednog ležaja u studentskom domu iznosi više od 500 kuna, a student u Zagrebu plaća stotinjak kuna, Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanja i športa izdvaja 105 kuna po studentu, a razliku pokriva Studentski centar iz prihoda Student-servisa.

Procijenjena cijena obroka u studentskim menzama je oko 16 kuna, Ministarstvo daje oko 12 kuna, studenti 4,40 kuna, a realna cijena je između 21 i 23 kune.

Gubitci se u najvećoj mjeri pokrivaju iz prihoda Studentskog servisa, umjesto da se od tog postotka ulaže u poboljšanje studentskog standarda ili osiguravanje sredstava za kulturne i sportske aktivnosti, ocijenio je rektor.

Upozorio je i na nedostatak smještajnih kapaciteta, s obzirom da u Hrvatskoj ima malo manje od deset tisuća ležajeva, a potrebe iskazane kroz prijave su dva puta veće. U Zagrebu je oko sedam tisuća ležajeva, a više od 12 tisuća prijava, a najteža je situacija u pogledu smještaja studenata u Puli i Dubrovniku, izvijestio je Bjeliš.

Rekao je i da su u tijeku pregovori da se za još jednu godinu produži boravak studenata u zagrebačkom studentskom domu Ivana Meštrovića, koji bi se trebao vratiti HAZU.

Upitan o glasinama da se ukida Fakultet prometnih znanosti u Zagrebu, Bjeliš je odgovorio da sada nema službenih povoda za to.

Rektorski zbor raspravljao je na današnjoj sjednici i o radu na novim propisima iz područja visokog obrazovanja, te, među ostalim, dogovorio skorašnju tematsku sjednicu o ključnim postavkama budućeg zakona o sveučilištima.

Rektor Sveučilišta u Zagrebu Aleksa Bjeliš upozorio je danas da je to sveučilište zbog gubitaka suočeno s teškom situacijom te da će trebati napraviti neke promjene kako bi oni bili manji.

Rektor je to rekao na konferenciji za novinare nakon sjednice Rektorskog zbora na kojoj je jedna od tema bila studentski standard.

Bjeliš smatra da je još prerano govoriti o tome hoće li se promjene dogoditi već u idućoj akademskoj godini, a uzroke gubitcima vidi, među ostalim, u nesrazmjeru stvarnih i procijenjenih cijena smještaja u studentskim domovima i prehrane u menzama.

Po minimalnom izračunu, prosječna cijena jednog ležaja u studentskom domu iznosi više od 500 kuna, a student u Zagrebu plaća stotinjak kuna, Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanja i športa izdvaja 105 kuna po studentu, a razliku pokriva Studentski centar iz prihoda Student-servisa.

Procijenjena cijena obroka u studentskim menzama je oko 16 kuna, Ministarstvo daje oko 12 kuna, studenti 4,40 kuna, a realna cijena je između 21 i 23 kune.

Gubitci se u najvećoj mjeri pokrivaju iz prihoda Studentskog servisa, umjesto da se od tog postotka ulaže u poboljšanje studentskog standarda ili osiguravanje sredstava za kulturne i sportske aktivnosti, ocijenio je rektor.

Upozorio je i na nedostatak smještajnih kapaciteta, s obzirom da u Hrvatskoj ima malo manje od deset tisuća ležajeva, a potrebe iskazane kroz prijave su dva puta veće. U Zagrebu je oko sedam tisuća ležajeva, a više od 12 tisuća prijava, a najteža je situacija u pogledu smještaja studenata u Puli i Dubrovniku, izvijestio je Bjeliš.

Rekao je i da su u tijeku pregovori da se za još jednu godinu produži boravak studenata u zagrebačkom studentskom domu Ivana Meštrovića, koji bi se trebao vratiti HAZU.

Upitan o glasinama da se ukida Fakultet prometnih znanosti u Zagrebu, Bjeliš je odgovorio da sada nema službenih povoda za to.

Rektorski zbor raspravljao je na današnjoj sjednici i o radu na novim propisima iz područja visokog obrazovanja, te, među ostalim, dogovorio skorašnju tematsku sjednicu o ključnim postavkama budućeg zakona o sveučilištima.
