Nakon što je Damir Romac, sudac Županijskog suda u Splitu, podnio privatnu tužbu zbog sramoćenja, uvrede i klevete protiv Jagode Kegalj, i ona je željela javno iznijeti svoju stranu.
- Nije točno da je u predstavkama naveden niz optužbi na račun suca Damira Romca. Tu se ne radi o optužbama, optužba je ako se nekoga neutemeljeno proziva, što bi se trebalo dokazati, riječ je o činjenicama koje su utemeljene i dokazane, riječ je o istini koja se dogodila isključivo tijekom pripremnih ročišta u kojima se sudac Romac ponašao bahato i bezobrazno, što je nedolično i neprimjereno ponašanje koje nikako nije u skladu s kodeksom sudačke etike koju je sudac Romac isto najvjerojatnije potpisao - kaže nam Kegalj (na slici).
Nadalje u svojem reagiranju navodi:
- Nije točno da je u predstavkama navedeno da sudac Romac opstruira postupak radi ostvarivanja osobne koristi, nego da najvjerojatnije radi za ostvarivanje osobne koristi jer barem mislim da zarađenu plaću sigurno ne daje u dobrotvorne svrhe nego radi za osobnu korist, ali plaću po mome mišljenju nije zaslužio, pa ako je sudac Romac to drugačije razumio te se osjeća prozvan, to je njegov osobni problem.
Činjenica i istina je da sam uputila niz dopisa ili predstavki nadležnim državnim institucijama, među ostalima i Kolindi Grabar-Kitarović, predsjednici Republike Hrvatske, jer je to moje građansko pravo i ustavno pravo koje mi ni jedan sudac ne može i neće zabraniti. Ponovno se držim svake riječi koju sam napisala u predstavci te njegovu privatnu tužbu ocjenjujem kao očajnički čin suca koji nije imao drugog načina da se riješi ovoga predmeta jer ga nije bio sposoban ni hrabar riješiti nego je dopustio optuženoj da namjerno odugovlači kazneni postupak.
Privatna tužba je pokušaj zastrašivanja mene, ali nikada neću odustati boriti se za pravdu jer je moja majka umrla mučeničkom smrću pa me nitko ne može i neće zastrašiti - poručuje Kegalj.
Podsjetimo, Jagoda Kegalj je kći Ane Milas koja je preminula u rujnu 2010. godine, a za njezinu smrt je optužena Tanja Mesarović.
Sudac Romac dobio je predmet lani, kada je Vrhovni sud ukinuo prvu oslobađajuću presudu. Zakazao je početak suđenja, ali ga je morao odgoditi jer je optužena održavala trudnoću. Nakon što se porodila, u siječnju, zakazao je raspravu za kraj svibnja, ali je obitelj pokojnice bila nezadovoljna što to nije ranije odredio. Kegalj je uputila niz predstavki, a Romac je protiv nje podnio privatnu tužbu i izuzeo se iz slučaja.

Nakon što je Damir Romac, sudac Županijskog suda u Splitu, podnio privatnu tužbu zbog sramoćenja, uvrede i klevete protiv Jagode Kegalj, i ona je željela javno iznijeti svoju stranu.
- Nije točno da je u predstavkama naveden niz optužbi na račun suca Damira Romca. Tu se ne radi o optužbama, optužba je ako se nekoga neutemeljeno proziva, što bi se trebalo dokazati, riječ je o činjenicama koje su utemeljene i dokazane, riječ je o istini koja se dogodila isključivo tijekom pripremnih ročišta u kojima se sudac Romac ponašao bahato i bezobrazno, što je nedolično i neprimjereno ponašanje koje nikako nije u skladu s kodeksom sudačke etike koju je sudac Romac isto najvjerojatnije potpisao - kaže nam Kegalj (na slici).
Nadalje u svojem reagiranju navodi:
- Nije točno da je u predstavkama navedeno da sudac Romac opstruira postupak radi ostvarivanja osobne koristi, nego da najvjerojatnije radi za ostvarivanje osobne koristi jer barem mislim da zarađenu plaću sigurno ne daje u dobrotvorne svrhe nego radi za osobnu korist, ali plaću po mome mišljenju nije zaslužio, pa ako je sudac Romac to drugačije razumio te se osjeća prozvan, to je njegov osobni problem.
Činjenica i istina je da sam uputila niz dopisa ili predstavki nadležnim državnim institucijama, među ostalima i Kolindi Grabar-Kitarović, predsjednici Republike Hrvatske, jer je to moje građansko pravo i ustavno pravo koje mi ni jedan sudac ne može i neće zabraniti. Ponovno se držim svake riječi koju sam napisala u predstavci te njegovu privatnu tužbu ocjenjujem kao očajnički čin suca koji nije imao drugog načina da se riješi ovoga predmeta jer ga nije bio sposoban ni hrabar riješiti nego je dopustio optuženoj da namjerno odugovlači kazneni postupak.
Privatna tužba je pokušaj zastrašivanja mene, ali nikada neću odustati boriti se za pravdu jer je moja majka umrla mučeničkom smrću pa me nitko ne može i neće zastrašiti - poručuje Kegalj.
Podsjetimo, Jagoda Kegalj je kći Ane Milas koja je preminula u rujnu 2010. godine, a za njezinu smrt je optužena Tanja Mesarović.
Sudac Romac dobio je predmet lani, kada je Vrhovni sud ukinuo prvu oslobađajuću presudu. Zakazao je početak suđenja, ali ga je morao odgoditi jer je optužena održavala trudnoću. Nakon što se porodila, u siječnju, zakazao je raspravu za kraj svibnja, ali je obitelj pokojnice bila nezadovoljna što to nije ranije odredio. Kegalj je uputila niz predstavki, a Romac je protiv nje podnio privatnu tužbu i izuzeo se iz slučaja.
