Transkontinentalni let koji je po prvi puta nakon dvadeset godina trebao povezati SAD i Hrvatsku, ipak se neće dogoditi, kako je najavljeno, u petak, 17. lipnja, nego je slijetanje prvog 'chartera' koji će povezivati međunarodnu zračnu luku u Rockfordu, 140 km sjeverozapadno od Chicaga, sa Zagrebom, odgođeno do daljnjega.

Potvrdio nam je to u srijedu Tonči Peović, direktor Zagrebačke zračne luke te napomenuo kako je razlog odgađanju slaba popunjenost putničke kabine jer turističke agencije nisu uspjele prodati dovoljan broj karata za prvi let.

- Žao mi je što je prvi let odgođen. Ali turistička sezona je otvorila vrata pa se nadam da u skoroj budućnosti prodaja karata neće biti problem“, rekao je Peović te dodao kako je ZLZ ispunila sve preduvjete američkih saveznih zrakoplovnih vlasti koje su još prije mjesec dana dale suglasnost za slijetanje američkih putničkih zrakoplova u ZLZ.

Inače, prvi transkontinentalni 'charter' letovi, kompanije Air Plus sa sjedištem u Chicagu, ponudit će jednom tjedno letove za Zagreb, s nastavkom leta za Beograd. Letovi će kretati sa Zračne luke Rockford u petak navečer i vraćati se u nedjelju popodne.

Letjet će se, kako je najavljeno, zrakoplovima Boeing 767s koji može prevesti do 375 putnika. Zrakoplov je u vlasništvu američke kompanije Air Swift iz Phoenixa u Arizoni, koja obavlja charter letove za turističke agencije i velike sportske klubove.

Letovi su namijenjeni velikim hrvatskim, srpskim i bošnjačkim zajednicama u Chicagu, Milwaukeeju, Madisonu i St. Louisu, kao i europskim putnicima u potrazi za jeftinim kartama. Letovi će biti u ponudi 13 ljetnih tjedana, a zrakoplovne karte stoje 1099 USD.

Transkontinentalni let koji je po prvi puta nakon dvadeset godina trebao povezati SAD i Hrvatsku, ipak se neće dogoditi, kako je najavljeno, u petak, 17. lipnja, nego je slijetanje prvog 'chartera' koji će povezivati međunarodnu zračnu luku u Rockfordu, 140 km sjeverozapadno od Chicaga, sa Zagrebom, odgođeno do daljnjega.

Potvrdio nam je to u srijedu Tonči Peović, direktor Zagrebačke zračne luke te napomenuo kako je razlog odgađanju slaba popunjenost putničke kabine jer turističke agencije nisu uspjele prodati dovoljan broj karata za prvi let.

- Žao mi je što je prvi let odgođen. Ali turistička sezona je otvorila vrata pa se nadam da u skoroj budućnosti prodaja karata neće biti problem“, rekao je Peović te dodao kako je ZLZ ispunila sve preduvjete američkih saveznih zrakoplovnih vlasti koje su još prije mjesec dana dale suglasnost za slijetanje američkih putničkih zrakoplova u ZLZ.

Inače, prvi transkontinentalni 'charter' letovi, kompanije Air Plus sa sjedištem u Chicagu, ponudit će jednom tjedno letove za Zagreb, s nastavkom leta za Beograd. Letovi će kretati sa Zračne luke Rockford u petak navečer i vraćati se u nedjelju popodne.

Letjet će se, kako je najavljeno, zrakoplovima Boeing 767s koji može prevesti do 375 putnika. Zrakoplov je u vlasništvu američke kompanije Air Swift iz Phoenixa u Arizoni, koja obavlja charter letove za turističke agencije i velike sportske klubove.

Letovi su namijenjeni velikim hrvatskim, srpskim i bošnjačkim zajednicama u Chicagu, Milwaukeeju, Madisonu i St. Louisu, kao i europskim putnicima u potrazi za jeftinim kartama. Letovi će biti u ponudi 13 ljetnih tjedana, a zrakoplovne karte stoje 1099 USD.

Zbog slabog interesa otkazan prvi let između SAD-a i Hrvatske

Transkontinentalni let koji je po prvi puta nakon dvadeset godina trebao povezati SAD i Hrvatsku, ipak se neće dogoditi, kako je najavljeno, u petak, 17. lipnja, nego je slijetanje prvog 'chartera' koji će povezivati međunarodnu zračnu luku u Rockfordu, 140 km sjeverozapadno od Chicaga, sa Zagrebom, odgođeno do daljnjega.
