Europske niskotarifne zračne kompanije (low-cost), prevezle su lani 162,5 milijuna putnika, oko 13 milijuna putnika ili 8,7 posto više nego prethodne 2008. godine, priopćila je Udruga europskih niskotarifnih avioprijevoznika (ELFAA).
Istovremeno, zračni prijevoz putnika je, prema Europskoj udruzi zračnih prijevoznika (AEA) pao lani u Europi oko pet posto, na što je presudno utjecalo visoko smanjenje prijevoza kod klasičnih kompanija od 6,7 posto. One su prošle godine prevezle ukupno 246 milijuna putnika (33 milijuna manje nego 2008).
Sve to znači da se u uvjetima krize ubrzava trend porasta low-cost udjela u ukupnom zračnom prijevozu tako da je već lani dosegnuo 40 posto.
Low-cost irska kompanija Ryanair uvjerljivo je vodeća među svim prijevoznicima – prevezla je lani 65,3 milijuna putnika i posluje financijski najbolje.
Slijede njemačka Lufthansa (53,2), francuski Air France (47,9), britanski low-cost easyJet (46,1), British Airways (32,2), Air Berlin (28,1 milijun)...
No, to ne znači da svim low-cost prijevoznicima cvjetaju ruže: prošle godine je propala do 2008. najveća srednjeuropska low-cost kompanija SkyEurope i za sobom ostavila neplaćene dugove od 180 milijuna eura, krah je doživio i britanski Flyglobespan, ima ih nekoliko u gubicima...
Ali je sve to neusporedivo s teškim problemima klasičnih prijevoznika, koji su gotovo u pravilu najteži u onima s državnim većinskim udjelima.

Europske niskotarifne zračne kompanije (low-cost), prevezle su lani 162,5 milijuna putnika, oko 13 milijuna putnika ili 8,7 posto više nego prethodne 2008. godine, priopćila je Udruga europskih niskotarifnih avioprijevoznika (ELFAA).
Istovremeno, zračni prijevoz putnika je, prema Europskoj udruzi zračnih prijevoznika (AEA) pao lani u Europi oko pet posto, na što je presudno utjecalo visoko smanjenje prijevoza kod klasičnih kompanija od 6,7 posto. One su prošle godine prevezle ukupno 246 milijuna putnika (33 milijuna manje nego 2008).
Sve to znači da se u uvjetima krize ubrzava trend porasta low-cost udjela u ukupnom zračnom prijevozu tako da je već lani dosegnuo 40 posto.
Low-cost irska kompanija Ryanair uvjerljivo je vodeća među svim prijevoznicima – prevezla je lani 65,3 milijuna putnika i posluje financijski najbolje.
Slijede njemačka Lufthansa (53,2), francuski Air France (47,9), britanski low-cost easyJet (46,1), British Airways (32,2), Air Berlin (28,1 milijun)...
No, to ne znači da svim low-cost prijevoznicima cvjetaju ruže: prošle godine je propala do 2008. najveća srednjeuropska low-cost kompanija SkyEurope i za sobom ostavila neplaćene dugove od 180 milijuna eura, krah je doživio i britanski Flyglobespan, ima ih nekoliko u gubicima...
Ali je sve to neusporedivo s teškim problemima klasičnih prijevoznika, koji su gotovo u pravilu najteži u onima s državnim većinskim udjelima.
