Američko se gospodarstvo u drugom tromjesečju ove godine smanjilo po godišnjoj stopi od jedan posto, što je znak da bi se najgora recesija od Velike depresije 30-ih godina prošlog stoljeća mogla bližiti kraju.

Bruto domaći proizvod (BDP) pao je puno manje od procjena većine ekonomista, pošto je u prvom tromjesečju pad bio 6,4 posto, najveći u posljednjih 27 godina.

Dobit tvrtaka od Caterpillara do Dow Chemicala znak je da se kriza ublažava, a vladini napori da oživi kreditiranje i paket gospodarskih poticaja dobivaju na zamahu. Istodobno, domaća potrošnja, koja čini 70 posto BDP-a, dvostruko je niža od prognoza.

Analitičari predviđaju kako će trebati mjeseci da se ona oporavi, dok nezaposlenost i dalje raste.

“Već smo dobrano na putu oporavka, no neizbježno je da će taj put biti isprekidan. Potrošači se povlače jer je nezaposlenost još velika. Tržište rada stvarno treba pokazati brz napredak”, izjavio je za Bloomberg News Joseph LaVorgna, glavni američki ekonomist pri U.S. Deutsche Bank Securities u New Yorku.

Prognoziralo se da će se gospodarstvo smanjiti po godišnjoj stopi od 1,5 posto, po prosječnoj procjeni 78 ekonomista obuhvaćenih istraživanjem Bloomberg Newsa. Njihove su procjene sezale od pada za 0,7 do čak 2,9 posto.

Domaća potrošnja smanjena je po stopi od 1,2 posto, više od predviđanja analitičara, nakon što je rasla za 0,6 posto u prvom tromjesečju ove godine.

Američko se gospodarstvo u drugom tromjesečju ove godine smanjilo po godišnjoj stopi od jedan posto, što je znak da bi se najgora recesija od Velike depresije 30-ih godina prošlog stoljeća mogla bližiti kraju.

Bruto domaći proizvod (BDP) pao je puno manje od procjena većine ekonomista, pošto je u prvom tromjesečju pad bio 6,4 posto, najveći u posljednjih 27 godina.

Dobit tvrtaka od Caterpillara do Dow Chemicala znak je da se kriza ublažava, a vladini napori da oživi kreditiranje i paket gospodarskih poticaja dobivaju na zamahu. Istodobno, domaća potrošnja, koja čini 70 posto BDP-a, dvostruko je niža od prognoza.

Analitičari predviđaju kako će trebati mjeseci da se ona oporavi, dok nezaposlenost i dalje raste.

“Već smo dobrano na putu oporavka, no neizbježno je da će taj put biti isprekidan. Potrošači se povlače jer je nezaposlenost još velika. Tržište rada stvarno treba pokazati brz napredak”, izjavio je za Bloomberg News Joseph LaVorgna, glavni američki ekonomist pri U.S. Deutsche Bank Securities u New Yorku.

Prognoziralo se da će se gospodarstvo smanjiti po godišnjoj stopi od 1,5 posto, po prosječnoj procjeni 78 ekonomista obuhvaćenih istraživanjem Bloomberg Newsa. Njihove su procjene sezale od pada za 0,7 do čak 2,9 posto.

Domaća potrošnja smanjena je po stopi od 1,2 posto, više od predviđanja analitičara, nakon što je rasla za 0,6 posto u prvom tromjesečju ove godine.
