Španjolska ima posebno mjesto u povijesti vaterpola. Veliki klubovi, možda i najveći igrač u povijesti (Estiarte), vrlo dobra liga i moćna reprezentacija. Iako, mnoge će iznenaditi da ta ista nacija u ovom sportu nije osvojila niti jednu olimpijsku medalju dok ondje nije došao jedan Hrvat. Zovu ga jednako kao i mi doma, Matuta.

Godine 1992. Barcelona je bila domaćinom OI, a na klupi Furije Dragan Matutinović. Čovjek ih je odveo do olimpijskog finala! To je nešto što velika, izrazito sportska nacija ne zaboravlja. Niti tri desetljeća kasnije. Uostalom, 2018. za EP-a u Barceloni, kada je Matutinović vodio hrvatsku žensku reprezentaciju, u omiljenost ovog trenera kod Španjolaca uvjerili smo se sami ta dva tjedna. Nije bilo dana, doslovno dana, a da Matute nije bilo u nekim tamošnjim novinama, televiziji... U Španjolskoj je stvarno božanstvo. Stoga i ne začuđuje da su se odlučili za snimanje dugometražnog, igranog filma o vaterpolskoj Furiji na OI ‘92. i Draganu Matutinoviću.

- Nazvali su me prije nekoliko mjeseci, rekli da idu u snimanje filma. Iznenadio sam se ugodno, a još više onda kada sam shvatio da će angažirati i glumca odavde, iz Hrvatske i to ne bilo kojeg - iz Splita će Dragan Matutinović.

A taj pak poznati glumac je Tarik Filipović. Ovog je tjedna već boravio u Barceloni, obavio prve probe, snimanje kreće za koji dan. Tarik je sportski zanesenjak, primarno nogometni, ali ovo će mu ipak biti prvi doticaj donekle s vaterpolom.

- Ma, pratim ja sva velika natjecanja i utakmice, finala, tako i kada se igra vaterpolo, Hrvatska, Mladost itd. Što se filma tiče, to je priča o tomu kako ih je Matutinović preuzeo, stesao. Španjolci su došli do mene preko naše agentice Anile Gajević. Radi se vrlo ozbiljan film, s jako dobrim glumcima - iz Barcelone će Tarik Filipović.

- Inače, gospodin Matutinović je ovdje, to sam sada otkrio, velika zvijezda. Ljudi to kod nas ni ne znaju. Bio je izbornik Španjolske prije 30 godina, ali mladi ljudi znaju tko je on. Jedna žena na probi, kad sam joj rekao da se moram vidjeti s gospodinom Matutinovićem, bila je sva oduševljena, skoro ljubomorna što ću se vidjeti s Matutom. Ima inače čak i puno bivših igrača koji vuku “traume” iz njegovog načina rada, ha, ha. No, on ih je sve istesao i doveo skoro do zlata.

Jasno da je Tarik Filipović taj koji će na filmu ovjekovječiti Matutu.

- Meni je to višestruko velik izazov. Prvi put glumim na španjolskom, a ja ne govorim španjolski, tako da ću sada u brzinsko učenje. Međutim, baš su željeli nekog komu španjolski nije materinji jezik i s našim akcentom u izgovoru.

Naslov filma je “42 sekunde” odnosno vrijeme koliko je Španjolsku dijelilo tada od zlata. Inače, na tim Igrama Hrvatske nije bilo jer su kvalifikacije završene prije negoli je naša domovina bila priznata kao samostalna država, ali zato su se u finalu sastala dvojica Hrvata. Ratko Rudić na klupi Italije i Dragan Matutinović predvodeći Španjolsku.

- To je ostala neka satisfakcija, ali ja sam na tim Igrama, kakav sam već bio uvijek malo glasan i drčan, stalno prozivao Amerikance. Zato što nisu zaustavili, onemogućili uopće rat u Hrvatskoj. A finale... Na bazenu Bernat Picornell, na Montjuicu bilo je 11.000 gledatelja. Nikad više u povijesti španjolskog vaterpola - veli Dragan Matutinović.

Vratimo se još malo filmu i Matuti, ali u liku Tarika.

- Snimanje počinje 18. listopada. Snimat će se u Barceloni i u Andori, gdje su se pripremali za Igre. Snimanje će trajati 40-ak dana, produkcija je već pripremljena i zato ide dosta brzo.

U kino-dvoranama je već tijekom sljedeće godine.

Španjolska ima posebno mjesto u povijesti vaterpola. Veliki klubovi, možda i najveći igrač u povijesti (Estiarte), vrlo dobra liga i moćna reprezentacija. Iako, mnoge će iznenaditi da ta ista nacija u ovom sportu nije osvojila niti jednu olimpijsku medalju dok ondje nije došao jedan Hrvat. Zovu ga jednako kao i mi doma, Matuta.

Godine 1992. Barcelona je bila domaćinom OI, a na klupi Furije Dragan Matutinović. Čovjek ih je odveo do olimpijskog finala! To je nešto što velika, izrazito sportska nacija ne zaboravlja. Niti tri desetljeća kasnije. Uostalom, 2018. za EP-a u Barceloni, kada je Matutinović vodio hrvatsku žensku reprezentaciju, u omiljenost ovog trenera kod Španjolaca uvjerili smo se sami ta dva tjedna. Nije bilo dana, doslovno dana, a da Matute nije bilo u nekim tamošnjim novinama, televiziji... U Španjolskoj je stvarno božanstvo. Stoga i ne začuđuje da su se odlučili za snimanje dugometražnog, igranog filma o vaterpolskoj Furiji na OI ‘92. i Draganu Matutinoviću.

- Nazvali su me prije nekoliko mjeseci, rekli da idu u snimanje filma. Iznenadio sam se ugodno, a još više onda kada sam shvatio da će angažirati i glumca odavde, iz Hrvatske i to ne bilo kojeg - iz Splita će Dragan Matutinović.

A taj pak poznati glumac je Tarik Filipović. Ovog je tjedna već boravio u Barceloni, obavio prve probe, snimanje kreće za koji dan. Tarik je sportski zanesenjak, primarno nogometni, ali ovo će mu ipak biti prvi doticaj donekle s vaterpolom.

- Ma, pratim ja sva velika natjecanja i utakmice, finala, tako i kada se igra vaterpolo, Hrvatska, Mladost itd. Što se filma tiče, to je priča o tomu kako ih je Matutinović preuzeo, stesao. Španjolci su došli do mene preko naše agentice Anile Gajević. Radi se vrlo ozbiljan film, s jako dobrim glumcima - iz Barcelone će Tarik Filipović.

- Inače, gospodin Matutinović je ovdje, to sam sada otkrio, velika zvijezda. Ljudi to kod nas ni ne znaju. Bio je izbornik Španjolske prije 30 godina, ali mladi ljudi znaju tko je on. Jedna žena na probi, kad sam joj rekao da se moram vidjeti s gospodinom Matutinovićem, bila je sva oduševljena, skoro ljubomorna što ću se vidjeti s Matutom. Ima inače čak i puno bivših igrača koji vuku “traume” iz njegovog načina rada, ha, ha. No, on ih je sve istesao i doveo skoro do zlata.

Jasno da je Tarik Filipović taj koji će na filmu ovjekovječiti Matutu.

- Meni je to višestruko velik izazov. Prvi put glumim na španjolskom, a ja ne govorim španjolski, tako da ću sada u brzinsko učenje. Međutim, baš su željeli nekog komu španjolski nije materinji jezik i s našim akcentom u izgovoru.

Naslov filma je “42 sekunde” odnosno vrijeme koliko je Španjolsku dijelilo tada od zlata. Inače, na tim Igrama Hrvatske nije bilo jer su kvalifikacije završene prije negoli je naša domovina bila priznata kao samostalna država, ali zato su se u finalu sastala dvojica Hrvata. Ratko Rudić na klupi Italije i Dragan Matutinović predvodeći Španjolsku.

- To je ostala neka satisfakcija, ali ja sam na tim Igrama, kakav sam već bio uvijek malo glasan i drčan, stalno prozivao Amerikance. Zato što nisu zaustavili, onemogućili uopće rat u Hrvatskoj. A finale... Na bazenu Bernat Picornell, na Montjuicu bilo je 11.000 gledatelja. Nikad više u povijesti španjolskog vaterpola - veli Dragan Matutinović.

Vratimo se još malo filmu i Matuti, ali u liku Tarika.

- Snimanje počinje 18. listopada. Snimat će se u Barceloni i u Andori, gdje su se pripremali za Igre. Snimanje će trajati 40-ak dana, produkcija je već pripremljena i zato ide dosta brzo.

U kino-dvoranama je već tijekom sljedeće godine.
