Coco Gauff, 19-godišnja američka tenisačica, osvajačica je ovogodišnjeg US Opena, u sjajnom finalnom susretu pobijedila je Bjeloruskinju Arinu Sabaljenku 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.

Osvojila je time Gauff premijernu Grand Slam titulu u karijeri, nakon što je prošle godine u Roland Garrosu po prvi puta igrala finale nekog Grand Slam turnira. Tada je izgubila meč od Ige Swiatek.

Sabaljenka ostaje na jednom Grand Slam naslovu, slavila je početkom ove godine na Australian Openu.

Sabaljenka je meč otvorila s dva dobivena gema u nizu, ali na identičan način je kontrirala Gauff. Kod 2-2 Sabaljenka je zaigrala bez greške. Žestoko je napadala iz svih pozicija, minimalno je griješila i Amerikanka se u svemu nije snašla. Na brzinu je 25-godišnja Bjeloruskinja osvojila četiri gema u nizu i time dobila prvi set sa 6-2.

Velika podrška

Na samom startu drugog seta Sabaljenka je imala dvije break lopte za nastavak svog niza. No, Gauff se izvukla iz te situacije i to je bio trenutak kada se meč okrenuo.Uz gromoglasnu podršku s tribina Gauff je preuzela kontrolu meča. Fantastično se kretala i branila od napada suparnice što je počelo tjerati Sabaljenku na sve veći rizik i veći broj pogrešaka.

Kod 2-1 je Gauff napravila break i potom odjurila do osvajanja seta i izjednačenja na 1-1, a na tom valu je nastavila igrati i u trećoj dionici u kojoj je povela 4-0. Premda Sabaljenka nije loše igrala na startu odlučujućeg seta ipak je bila stalno korak iza suparnice. Uspjela se druga nositeljica vratiti do 2-4, ali bez snage je ostala u idućem gemu kada je Gauff došla do novog breaka za 5-2.

Samouvjereno i bez greške odradila je Gauff posljednji gem meča i potom proslavila najveću pobjedu u karijeri s tisućama svojih navijača. Nakon ranog ispadanja s Wimbledona pa zaključno s finalnim susretom na US Openu, Gauff je odigrala 19 mečeva te je u tom periodu ostvarila omjer 18-1.

Coco Gauff, 19-godišnja američka tenisačica, osvajačica je ovogodišnjeg US Opena, u sjajnom finalnom susretu pobijedila je Bjeloruskinju Arinu Sabaljenku 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.

Osvojila je time Gauff premijernu Grand Slam titulu u karijeri, nakon što je prošle godine u Roland Garrosu po prvi puta igrala finale nekog Grand Slam turnira. Tada je izgubila meč od Ige Swiatek.

Sabaljenka ostaje na jednom Grand Slam naslovu, slavila je početkom ove godine na Australian Openu.

Sabaljenka je meč otvorila s dva dobivena gema u nizu, ali na identičan način je kontrirala Gauff. Kod 2-2 Sabaljenka je zaigrala bez greške. Žestoko je napadala iz svih pozicija, minimalno je griješila i Amerikanka se u svemu nije snašla. Na brzinu je 25-godišnja Bjeloruskinja osvojila četiri gema u nizu i time dobila prvi set sa 6-2.

Velika podrška

Na samom startu drugog seta Sabaljenka je imala dvije break lopte za nastavak svog niza. No, Gauff se izvukla iz te situacije i to je bio trenutak kada se meč okrenuo.Uz gromoglasnu podršku s tribina Gauff je preuzela kontrolu meča. Fantastično se kretala i branila od napada suparnice što je počelo tjerati Sabaljenku na sve veći rizik i veći broj pogrešaka.

Kod 2-1 je Gauff napravila break i potom odjurila do osvajanja seta i izjednačenja na 1-1, a na tom valu je nastavila igrati i u trećoj dionici u kojoj je povela 4-0. Premda Sabaljenka nije loše igrala na startu odlučujućeg seta ipak je bila stalno korak iza suparnice. Uspjela se druga nositeljica vratiti do 2-4, ali bez snage je ostala u idućem gemu kada je Gauff došla do novog breaka za 5-2.

Prva Grand Slam titula za Gauff: na krilima domaće publike u finalu srušila prvu tenisačicu svijeta Sabaljenku

Coco Gauff, 19-godišnja američka tenisačica, osvajačica je ovogodišnjeg US Opena, u sjajnom finalnom susretu pobijedila je Bjeloruskinju Arinu Sabaljenku 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.

Osvojila je time Gauff premijernu Grand Slam titulu u karijeri, nakon što je prošle godine u Roland Garrosu po prvi puta igrala finale nekog Grand Slam turnira. Tada je izgubila meč od Ige Swiatek.

Sabaljenka ostaje na jednom Grand Slam naslovu, slavila je početkom ove godine na Australian Openu.

Sabaljenka je meč otvorila s dva dobivena gema u nizu, ali na identičan način je kontrirala Gauff. Kod 2-2 Sabaljenka je zaigrala bez greške. Žestoko je napadala iz svih pozicija, minimalno je griješila i Amerikanka se u svemu nije snašla. Na brzinu je 25-godišnja Bjeloruskinja osvojila četiri gema u nizu i time dobila prvi set sa 6-2.

Velika podrška

Na samom startu drugog seta Sabaljenka je imala dvije break lopte za nastavak svog niza. No, Gauff se izvukla iz te situacije i to je bio trenutak kada se meč okrenuo.Uz gromoglasnu podršku s tribina Gauff je preuzela kontrolu meča. Fantastično se kretala i branila od napada suparnice što je počelo tjerati Sabaljenku na sve veći rizik i veći broj pogrešaka.

Kod 2-1 je Gauff napravila break i potom odjurila do osvajanja seta i izjednačenja na 1-1, a na tom valu je nastavila igrati i u trećoj dionici u kojoj je povela 4-0. Premda Sabaljenka nije loše igrala na startu odlučujućeg seta ipak je bila stalno korak iza suparnice. Uspjela se druga nositeljica vratiti do 2-4, ali bez snage je ostala u idućem gemu kada je Gauff došla do novog breaka za 5-2.
