Hrvatska tenisačica Petra Martić plasirala se u finale zemljanoga WTA turnira u švicarskoj Lausannei pobjedom nad Francuskinjom Caroline Garcia 6:4, 1:6, 6:3 za 112 minuta igre.

Prije tri godine Petra je osvojila svoj prvi WTA turnir. Slavila je 2019. u Istanbulu, u finalu je sa 1:6, 6:4, 6:1 pobijedila  Čehinju Marketu Vonddrušovu.

Bilo je to krajem travnja, da bi opet sredinom rujna iste godine stigla do finala u Kini, ali u Zhengzhou nije došla do titule, izgubila je od tada druge na svijetu, Čehinje Karoline Pliškove.

Sada je u novoj prilici, u svom prvom finalu nakon toga u Kini.

Martić (WTA-85.) je za prolaz u finale pobijedila 48. igračicu na WTA listi od koje je izgubila sva tri međusobna meča do danas. 

Dućanka je odlično počela meč, u trećem gemu prvoga seta došla je do “breaka”, koji joj je donio i prvi set (6:4). U drugom setu Francuskinja je dominirala i nakon 1:1 dobila pet uzastopnih gemova.

Odlučujući set Petra uzvratila na gotovo isti način, povela je sa 5:1 i propustila meč-loptu na svoj servis, da bi meč ipak završila u devetom gemu.

Za Martić je ovo peto finale u kojem će igrati sa Srpkinjom Olgom Danilović, koja je ranije bila bolja od Ruskinje Anastasije Potapove 6:3, 6:2. S Danilović je Petra igrala samo jednom i izgubila lani na Australian Openu. 

Martić u karijeri uz naslov iz Istanbula 2019. u finala Zhangzhua ima i poraze u završnim dvobojima Kuala Lumpura (2012.) i Bukurešta (2018.).

Naša tenisačica je odlična bila i u Wimbledonu gdje je stigla do osmine finala, tada je bolja od nje bila Jelena Ribakina koja je osvojila Wimbledon. Prava je šteta što londonski Grand Slam turnir ove godine nije nosi bodove, no napunio se barem Petrin bankovni račun. U Lausannei pak eto i bodova, već ulaskom u finale Petra je napredovala za 26 pozicija i sada je 59, a ako pobijedi Olgu Danilović eto je i na 55. poziciji s dobrom zalihom za još veći bodovni iskorak.

Danilović, inače kći legendarnog srpskog košarkaša Predraga Danilovića, gledali smo i na WTA turniru u Makarskoj. Tamo je ispala u četvrtfinalu, sada je, čini se, kao i Petra u vrlo dobroj formi.

Da zaokružimo ove stupce tenisom, preselili smo malo do Budimpešte.

Vaterpolo, plivanje i skokovi u vodu napustili su mađarski grad, a protekog tjedna na scenu su stupile tenisačice. Na WTA turniru do finala su dogurale srpska tenisačica Aleksandra Krunić te hrvatska Amerikanka Bernarda Pera.

Krunić je u polufinalu savladala lanjsku pobjednicu Juliju Putinčevu, dok je Pera bila bolja od Mađarice Anne Bondar sa 6:3, 6:4.

Dvije hrvatske tenisačice tako su ovog tjedna u finalima WTA turnira, a protivnice su i jednoj i drugoj - Srpkinje. Petra Martić u Lausannei igrat će protiv Olge Danilović, a računamo i Peru kao Hrvaticu, Zadranku. Jest da igra pod zastavom SAD-a, ali naše je gore list. Rođena i odgojena, stasala u Zadru, a onda zbog nekih drugih stvari je promijenila zastavu. 

Zanimljivo je istaknuti i kako su Pera, ali i Krunić i Danilović igrale na WTA turniru u Makarskoj. Direktor Feliks Lukas predstavio je  potonje kao “dragulje iz Srbije”. Eto, sada su zasjali. U Makarskoj su njih dvije igrale i parove zajedno, u finalu su izgubile od Slovenke Dalile Jakupovič i hrvatske uzdanice Tene Lukas. Sada eto i njih dvije u dva odvojena finala. Petra i Pera protiv Olge i Aleksandre. Kakva nas nedjelja čeka.

Hrvatska tenisačica Petra Martić plasirala se u finale zemljanoga WTA turnira u švicarskoj Lausannei pobjedom nad Francuskinjom Caroline Garcia 6:4, 1:6, 6:3 za 112 minuta igre.

Prije tri godine Petra je osvojila svoj prvi WTA turnir. Slavila je 2019. u Istanbulu, u finalu je sa 1:6, 6:4, 6:1 pobijedila  Čehinju Marketu Vonddrušovu.

Bilo je to krajem travnja, da bi opet sredinom rujna iste godine stigla do finala u Kini, ali u Zhengzhou nije došla do titule, izgubila je od tada druge na svijetu, Čehinje Karoline Pliškove.

Sada je u novoj prilici, u svom prvom finalu nakon toga u Kini.

Martić (WTA-85.) je za prolaz u finale pobijedila 48. igračicu na WTA listi od koje je izgubila sva tri međusobna meča do danas. 

Dućanka je odlično počela meč, u trećem gemu prvoga seta došla je do “breaka”, koji joj je donio i prvi set (6:4). U drugom setu Francuskinja je dominirala i nakon 1:1 dobila pet uzastopnih gemova.

Odlučujući set Petra uzvratila na gotovo isti način, povela je sa 5:1 i propustila meč-loptu na svoj servis, da bi meč ipak završila u devetom gemu.

Za Martić je ovo peto finale u kojem će igrati sa Srpkinjom Olgom Danilović, koja je ranije bila bolja od Ruskinje Anastasije Potapove 6:3, 6:2. S Danilović je Petra igrala samo jednom i izgubila lani na Australian Openu. 

Martić u karijeri uz naslov iz Istanbula 2019. u finala Zhangzhua ima i poraze u završnim dvobojima Kuala Lumpura (2012.) i Bukurešta (2018.).

Naša tenisačica je odlična bila i u Wimbledonu gdje je stigla do osmine finala, tada je bolja od nje bila Jelena Ribakina koja je osvojila Wimbledon. Prava je šteta što londonski Grand Slam turnir ove godine nije nosi bodove, no napunio se barem Petrin bankovni račun. U Lausannei pak eto i bodova, već ulaskom u finale Petra je napredovala za 26 pozicija i sada je 59, a ako pobijedi Olgu Danilović eto je i na 55. poziciji s dobrom zalihom za još veći bodovni iskorak.

Danilović, inače kći legendarnog srpskog košarkaša Predraga Danilovića, gledali smo i na WTA turniru u Makarskoj. Tamo je ispala u četvrtfinalu, sada je, čini se, kao i Petra u vrlo dobroj formi.

Da zaokružimo ove stupce tenisom, preselili smo malo do Budimpešte.

Vaterpolo, plivanje i skokovi u vodu napustili su mađarski grad, a protekog tjedna na scenu su stupile tenisačice. Na WTA turniru do finala su dogurale srpska tenisačica Aleksandra Krunić te hrvatska Amerikanka Bernarda Pera.

Krunić je u polufinalu savladala lanjsku pobjednicu Juliju Putinčevu, dok je Pera bila bolja od Mađarice Anne Bondar sa 6:3, 6:4.

Dvije hrvatske tenisačice tako su ovog tjedna u finalima WTA turnira, a protivnice su i jednoj i drugoj - Srpkinje. Petra Martić u Lausannei igrat će protiv Olge Danilović, a računamo i Peru kao Hrvaticu, Zadranku. Jest da igra pod zastavom SAD-a, ali naše je gore list. Rođena i odgojena, stasala u Zadru, a onda zbog nekih drugih stvari je promijenila zastavu. 

Zanimljivo je istaknuti i kako su Pera, ali i Krunić i Danilović igrale na WTA turniru u Makarskoj. Direktor Feliks Lukas predstavio je  potonje kao “dragulje iz Srbije”. Eto, sada su zasjali. U Makarskoj su njih dvije igrale i parove zajedno, u finalu su izgubile od Slovenke Dalile Jakupovič i hrvatske uzdanice Tene Lukas. Sada eto i njih dvije u dva odvojena finala. Petra i Pera protiv Olge i Aleksandre. Kakva nas nedjelja čeka.

Dva WTA finala, dvije Hrvatice - Petra i Pera, protiv dvije Srpkinje: Martić je u Lausannei, a Pera u Budimpešti

Hrvatska tenisačica Petra Martić plasirala se u finale zemljanoga WTA turnira u švicarskoj Lausannei pobjedom nad Francuskinjom Caroline Garcia 6:4, 1:6, 6:3 za 112 minuta igre.

Prije tri godine Petra je osvojila svoj prvi WTA turnir. Slavila je 2019. u Istanbulu, u finalu je sa 1:6, 6:4, 6:1 pobijedila  Čehinju Marketu Vonddrušovu.

Bilo je to krajem travnja, da bi opet sredinom rujna iste godine stigla do finala u Kini, ali u Zhengzhou nije došla do titule, izgubila je od tada druge na svijetu, Čehinje Karoline Pliškove.

Sada je u novoj prilici, u svom prvom finalu nakon toga u Kini.

Martić (WTA-85.) je za prolaz u finale pobijedila 48. igračicu na WTA listi od koje je izgubila sva tri međusobna meča do danas. 

Dućanka je odlično počela meč, u trećem gemu prvoga seta došla je ...
