Španjolski 52-godišnji nogometni stručnjak Javi Garcia novi je trener Leeds Uniteda s kojim je potpisao "fleksibilan" ugovor te zamijenio Jesseja Marscha, priopćio je u utorak klub iz engleske Premier lige.

Amerikanac Marsch je otpušten 6. veljače, nakon niza loših rezultata, zbog kojih se klub našao u zoni ispadanja. Leeds se trenutačno nalazi na 19. mjestu sa 19 bodova iz 23 utakmice, a u subotu će igrati protiv zadnjeg na ljestvici, Southamptona.

"Leeds United sa zadovoljstvom objavljuje da je klub dogovorio uvjete s Javijem Gracijom za angažman na poziciji glavnog trenera prve momčadi, bude li mu izdana radna dozvola", stoji u priopćenju kluba.

Garcia nije nepoznat u Premier ligi, s obzirom na to da je od siječnja 2018. do rujna 2019. vodio Watford. S tim je klubom završio na 11. mjestu u ligaškom natjecanju i dogurao do finala FA kupa, ali je u sljedećoj sezoni otpušten nakon samo četiri utakmice, zbog loših rezultata.

Osim Watforda, Garcia je u trenerskoj karijeri vodio španjolske klubove Valenciju i Malagu, ruski Rubin Kazanj te katarski Al Sadd, s kojim je osvojio naslov državnog prvaka prije nego što je u lipnju prošle godine dobio otkaz.

Od otkaza Marschu, kad je klub još uvijek bio iznad zone ispadanja, momčad je vodio trener mlade ekipe Michael Skubala. Pod njegovim vodstvom Leeds je osvojio samo jedan bod, na gostovanju kod Manchester Uniteda, nakon čega je uslijedio domaći poraz od iste momčadi te u gostima kod Evertona.

Vodstvo Leedsa se nada da će Garcia voditi momčad već u subotu, kad će na Elland Road stići Southampton.

Španjolski 52-godišnji nogometni stručnjak Javi Garcia novi je trener Leeds Uniteda s kojim je potpisao "fleksibilan" ugovor te zamijenio Jesseja Marscha, priopćio je u utorak klub iz engleske Premier lige.

Amerikanac Marsch je otpušten 6. veljače, nakon niza loših rezultata, zbog kojih se klub našao u zoni ispadanja. Leeds se trenutačno nalazi na 19. mjestu sa 19 bodova iz 23 utakmice, a u subotu će igrati protiv zadnjeg na ljestvici, Southamptona.

"Leeds United sa zadovoljstvom objavljuje da je klub dogovorio uvjete s Javijem Gracijom za angažman na poziciji glavnog trenera prve momčadi, bude li mu izdana radna dozvola", stoji u priopćenju kluba.

Garcia nije nepoznat u Premier ligi, s obzirom na to da je od siječnja 2018. do rujna 2019. vodio Watford. S tim je klubom završio na 11. mjestu u ligaškom natjecanju i dogurao do finala FA kupa, ali je u sljedećoj sezoni otpušten nakon samo četiri utakmice, zbog loših rezultata.

Osim Watforda, Garcia je u trenerskoj karijeri vodio španjolske klubove Valenciju i Malagu, ruski Rubin Kazanj te katarski Al Sadd, s kojim je osvojio naslov državnog prvaka prije nego što je u lipnju prošle godine dobio otkaz.

Od otkaza Marschu, kad je klub još uvijek bio iznad zone ispadanja, momčad je vodio trener mlade ekipe Michael Skubala. Pod njegovim vodstvom Leeds je osvojio samo jedan bod, na gostovanju kod Manchester Uniteda, nakon čega je uslijedio domaći poraz od iste momčadi te u gostima kod Evertona.

Vodstvo Leedsa se nada da će Garcia voditi momčad već u subotu, kad će na Elland Road stići Southampton.

Javi Gracia novi trener Leeds Uniteda, trenutno su pretposljednji i prijeti im ispadanja iz Premiershipa

Španjolski 52-godišnji nogometni stručnjak Javi Garcia novi je trener Leeds Uniteda s kojim je potpisao "fleksibilan" ugovor te zamijenio Jesseja Marscha, priopćio je u utorak klub iz engleske Premier lige.

Amerikanac Marsch je otpušten 6. veljače, nakon niza loših rezultata, zbog kojih se klub našao u zoni ispadanja. Leeds se trenutačno nalazi na 19. mjestu sa 19 bodova iz 23 utakmice, a u subotu će igrati protiv zadnjeg na ljestvici, Southamptona.

"Leeds United sa zadovoljstvom objavljuje da je klub dogovorio uvjete s Javijem Gracijom za angažman na poziciji glavnog trenera prve momčadi, bude li mu izdana radna dozvola", stoji u priopćenju kluba.

Garcia nije nepoznat u Premier ligi, s obzirom na to da je od siječnja 2018. do rujna 2019. vodio Watford. S tim je klubom završio...
