Predugih deset godina prošlo je od posljednjeg finala hrvatske rukometne reprezentacije. 

Bilo je to u Austriji 2010. na Europskom prvenstvu kada je „kauboje” kao i danas vodio Lino Červar. U bečkom Stadthalleu, koji nam je proteklih dana bio dom, izgubili smo zlato protiv Francuza (21:25). Tko je tada mogao zamisliti da će nam to do danas biti posljednje finale.

A nije da nismo bili blizu. Dapače. Odonda smo igrali šest polufinala, ali smo – izgubili svih šest! Vrijeme je da se večeras u Stockholmu protiv Norveške prekine to prokletstvo. Jednom su nas, baš posljednji put 2017. na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Francuskoj, na korak do finala zaustavili upravo Norvežani.

Kobni sedmerac Horvata

Nerado se prisjećamo utakmice iz Pariza, ali moramo. Neka to bude dodatna motivacija Červarovim dečkima. Imali smo sve u svojim rukama. Rezultat 22:22, vrijeme je bilo isteklo, a nama je bio dosuđen sedmerac. Loptu je uzeo Zlatko Horvat i promašio najvažniji šut karijere. Zapravo, norveški mu je vratar Bergerud obranio. 

Psihički raspadnuti, u produžetku nismo imali šanse, a onda smo i užasnom završnicom ostali bez bronce protiv Slovenije. Revanširali smo se već Norveškoj prije dvije godine kad smo ih na Euru kojemu smo bili domaćini pobijedili u drugom krugu, no večerašnja utakmica ipak je kudikamo važnija. Igra se za finale.

Fajterski duh

Iako svaka od preostalih reprezentacija ima razloga vjerovati da će osvojiti zlato, ne možemo se oteti dojmu da je večerašnji susret možda naša najbolja šansa za prekid prokletstva polufinala.

Daleko od toga da su Norvežani nošeni briljantnim Sagosenom bezopasni, štoviše izgledaju moćno, ali složit ćete se da su ipak poželjniji suparnik nego što bi to bili recimo Francuska ili Danska koje su mnogi očekivali u završnici. Uostalom, baš smo kontra Norvežana prije tri godine i došli najbliže finalu.

Obrana na čelu s Duvnjakom naš je najveći zalog za optimizam. Kad je prava, onda ni jedan zaostatak nije nedostižan. Vidjeli smo to protiv Njemačke i Španjolske. U tim dvobojima ova klapa igrača pokazala je fajterski duh i srce veće od Dinare. Ono će ih do krajnjih granica gurati i večeras, no trebat će i odigrati vrhunski. Najbolje do sada.

Predugih deset godina prošlo je od posljednjeg finala hrvatske rukometne reprezentacije. 

Bilo je to u Austriji 2010. na Europskom prvenstvu kada je „kauboje” kao i danas vodio Lino Červar. U bečkom Stadthalleu, koji nam je proteklih dana bio dom, izgubili smo zlato protiv Francuza (21:25). Tko je tada mogao zamisliti da će nam to do danas biti posljednje finale.

A nije da nismo bili blizu. Dapače. Odonda smo igrali šest polufinala, ali smo – izgubili svih šest! Vrijeme je da se večeras u Stockholmu protiv Norveške prekine to prokletstvo. Jednom su nas, baš posljednji put 2017. na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Francuskoj, na korak do finala zaustavili upravo Norvežani.

Kobni sedmerac Horvata

Nerado se prisjećamo utakmice iz Pariza, ali moramo. Neka to bude dodatna motivacija Červarovim dečkima. Imali smo sve u svojim rukama. Rezultat 22:22, vrijeme je bilo isteklo, a nama je bio dosuđen sedmerac. Loptu je uzeo Zlatko Horvat i promašio najvažniji šut karijere. Zapravo, norveški mu je vratar Bergerud obranio. 

Psihički raspadnuti, u produžetku nismo imali šanse, a onda smo i užasnom završnicom ostali bez bronce protiv Slovenije. Revanširali smo se već Norveškoj prije dvije godine kad smo ih na Euru kojemu smo bili domaćini pobijedili u drugom krugu, no večerašnja utakmica ipak je kudikamo važnija. Igra se za finale.

Fajterski duh

Iako svaka od preostalih reprezentacija ima razloga vjerovati da će osvojiti zlato, ne možemo se oteti dojmu da je večerašnji susret možda naša najbolja šansa za prekid prokletstva polufinala.

Daleko od toga da su Norvežani nošeni briljantnim Sagosenom bezopasni, štoviše izgledaju moćno, ali složit ćete se da su ipak poželjniji suparnik nego što bi to bili recimo Francuska ili Danska koje su mnogi očekivali u završnici. Uostalom, baš smo kontra Norvežana prije tri godine i došli najbliže finalu.

Obrana na čelu s Duvnjakom naš je najveći zalog za optimizam. Kad je prava, onda ni jedan zaostatak nije nedostižan. Vidjeli smo to protiv Njemačke i Španjolske. U tim dvobojima ova klapa igrača pokazala je fajterski duh i srce veće od Dinare. Ono će ih do krajnjih granica gurati i večeras, no trebat će i odigrati vrhunski. Najbolje do sada.
