Lice s ožiljkom, lice kapetana hrvatske rukometne reprezentacije i junaka pobjede nad Južnom Korejom, Petra Metličića zorno ukazuje na to kakvu su bitku naši rukometaši vodili s Korejom. Naime, prvi ogled Hrvata na Svjetskome prvenstvu, odnosno netko od protivničkih igrača, ostavio je Peri ožiljak koji se proteže od ispod oka do preko nosa u duljini od nekih osam milimetara. Još jednom je kapetan je dobio po glavi, koja je, kaže, očito magnet za sve protivnike.

Navikao sam da me udaraju

- Navikao sam da me udaraju. Očekivao sam tešku utakmicu, ali ipak ne toliko infarktnu. Iznenadili su nas mirnoćom, uspavali su nas i suce dugim napadima, svaki je trajao dvije minute. Uz to, svatko tko kaže da nije bio impresioniran atmosferom - laže. Ipak se u onakvoj atmosferi malo odsjeku noge - objasnio je jedan od najiskusnijih naših rukometaša koji nije bio u dobrom tonusu sve do kraja susreta kada je s dva efektna pogotka riješio pitanje pobjednika.

Tražio se Metličić cijeli susret, nije ga išlo, ali naviknuli smo zadnjih godina od njega da ne zabija mnogo, nego kad treba.
- To što sam ja zabio dva posljednja, presudna gola na utakmici s Južnom Korejom nije bitno, mogao je to biti bilo tko drugi. Trebalo je imati i malo sreće. Završilo je dobro za mene i za ekipu. Nisam zadovoljan kako igram, mogu puno bolje, jednostavno nisam u šuterskoj formi.

Neću sada radi toga pasti u depresiju, ali osjećam se nikako. Nekako mi fali špirita, ali doći će to - iskreno će. Hrvatska vanjska linija imala je dosta poteškoća s neugodnim protivnikom s Dalekog istoka, a na ruku nam nije išla ni njihova obrana 3 - 3 koja, općenito, Europljanima ne leži.

- Teško je igrati protiv takve obrane, teško se i vanjskoj liniji raspucati, tako da mislim da će naši pucači više pokazati u ostalim susretima. Korejanci su kao vojska. Disciplinirani, viču, deru se. Vidjeli ste da su nakon golova dizali ruke, čak i prijetili. Nije nam bilo lako, jer se nismo mogli na temelju snimaka njihovih susreta kvalitetno spremiti, tako da ne vjerujem da protiv drugih, jačih reprezentacija mogu odigrati kao protiv nas, jer ipak će biti pročitani

Južna Koreja će se boriti. To sam siguran. To je narod koji se nikad ne predaje. Neće se štediti protiv nikoga - zaključio je Metličić uz konstataciju kako treba izvući pouku iz prvog susreta Svjetskoga prvenstva te da nema opuštanja protiv bilo kojeg protivnika.

Makar to prečesto zvuči kao fraza. Što se tiče nedjeljnog susreta s Kuvajtom, Metličić kaže da ga neće iskoristiti kako bi uhvatio pucačku formu, odnosno da se neće napucavati.

- Najvažnije mi je podignuti samopouzdanje i pripremiti se za teže utakmice, one sa Španjolskom u srijedu i Švedskom u četvrtak, a sad da ću se protiv Kuvajta napucavati, baš i neću. Dobit će priliku i Denis Buntić - pokazao je Pero jednu od većih svojih odlika, nesebičnost. A, to je samo jedan od razloga zbog kojih je kapetan...

Lice s ožiljkom, lice kapetana hrvatske rukometne reprezentacije i junaka pobjede nad Južnom Korejom, Petra Metličića zorno ukazuje na to kakvu su bitku naši rukometaši vodili s Korejom. Naime, prvi ogled Hrvata na Svjetskome prvenstvu, odnosno netko od protivničkih igrača, ostavio je Peri ožiljak koji se proteže od ispod oka do preko nosa u duljini od nekih osam milimetara. Još jednom je kapetan je dobio po glavi, koja je, kaže, očito magnet za sve protivnike.

Navikao sam da me udaraju

- Navikao sam da me udaraju. Očekivao sam tešku utakmicu, ali ipak ne toliko infarktnu. Iznenadili su nas mirnoćom, uspavali su nas i suce dugim napadima, svaki je trajao dvije minute. Uz to, svatko tko kaže da nije bio impresioniran atmosferom - laže. Ipak se u onakvoj atmosferi malo odsjeku noge - objasnio je jedan od najiskusnijih naših rukometaša koji nije bio u dobrom tonusu sve do kraja susreta kada je s dva efektna pogotka riješio pitanje pobjednika.

Tražio se Metličić cijeli susret, nije ga išlo, ali naviknuli smo zadnjih godina od njega da ne zabija mnogo, nego kad treba.
- To što sam ja zabio dva posljednja, presudna gola na utakmici s Južnom Korejom nije bitno, mogao je to biti bilo tko drugi. Trebalo je imati i malo sreće. Završilo je dobro za mene i za ekipu. Nisam zadovoljan kako igram, mogu puno bolje, jednostavno nisam u šuterskoj formi.

Neću sada radi toga pasti u depresiju, ali osjećam se nikako. Nekako mi fali špirita, ali doći će to - iskreno će. Hrvatska vanjska linija imala je dosta poteškoća s neugodnim protivnikom s Dalekog istoka, a na ruku nam nije išla ni njihova obrana 3 - 3 koja, općenito, Europljanima ne leži.

Danas će priliku dobiti Denis Buntić

- Teško je igrati protiv takve obrane, teško se i vanjskoj liniji raspucati, tako da mislim da će naši pucači više pokazati u ostalim susretima. Korejanci su kao vojska. Disciplinirani, viču, deru se. Vidjeli ste da su nakon golova dizali ruke, čak i prijetili. Nije nam bilo lako, jer se nismo mogli na temelju snimaka njihovih susreta kvalitetno spremiti, tako da ne vjerujem da protiv drugih, jačih reprezentacija mogu odigrati kao protiv nas, jer ipak će biti pročitani

Južna Koreja će se boriti. To sam siguran. To je narod koji se nikad ne predaje. Neće se štediti protiv nikoga - zaključio je Metličić uz konstataciju kako treba izvući pouku iz prvog susreta Svjetskoga prvenstva te da nema opuštanja protiv bilo kojeg protivnika.

Makar to prečesto zvuči kao fraza. Što se tiče nedjeljnog susreta s Kuvajtom, Metličić kaže da ga neće iskoristiti kako bi uhvatio pucačku formu, odnosno da se neće napucavati.

- Najvažnije mi je podignuti samopouzdanje i pripremiti se za teže utakmice, one sa Španjolskom u srijedu i Švedskom u četvrtak, a sad da ću se protiv Kuvajta napucavati, baš i neću. Dobit će priliku i Denis Buntić - pokazao je Pero jednu od većih svojih odlika, nesebičnost. A, to je samo jedan od razloga zbog kojih je kapetan...
