Upravni odbor Hrvatskog rukometnog saveza jednoglasno je na svojoj 6. sjednici  razriješio Nenada Šoštarića izborničke funkcije hrvatske ženske seniorske reprezentacije, a zatim izabrao i potvrdio Ivicu Obrvana za novog izbornika, objavljeno je u petak na službenim stranicama HRS-a. 

Riječ je o vrhunskom stručnjaku koji je do sada vodio najjače hrvatske klubove poput Metkovića, Medveščaka, Zagreba, ali i inozemne Gorenje Velenje, Chambery. Do sada je bio izbornik i dviju reprezentacija – muške seniorske reprezentacije Sj. Makedonije te muške seniorske reprezentacije Bosne i Hercegovine. Ne treba posebno podsjećati da je imao i sjajnu igračku karijeru. Ivica Obrvan trenutačno obnaša dužnost trenera RK Podravka Vegete.  

Kao što je poznato, hrvatska ženska seniorska reprezentacija ostala je bez izbornika nakon što je Nenad Šoštarić prihvatio ponudu i postao trener Zagreba. Upravni odbor HRS–a uputio je iznimne riječi zahvale sada već bivšem izborniku na sjajnim rezultatima i povratku hrvatskog ženskog rukometa na kartu svijeta. Šoštarić je u svom drugom mandatu na klupi reprezentacije, Hrvatskoj donio dvije medalje – europsku broncu u Danskoj 2020. godine te mediteransko srebro 2022. godine.

Hrvatsku žensku reprezentaciju za mjesec dana očekuje Svjetsko prvenstvo kojem su domaćini Švedska, Danska i Norveška tako da je pred novim izbornikom iznimno kratko vrijeme za pripremu reprezentacije.

"Želio bih se zahvaliti Hrvatskom rukometnom savezu na imenovanju. Izuzetna mi je čast što ću postati trener ženske reprezentacije. To je veliko priznanje, ali i velika odgovornost. Zahvaljujem se naravno i klubu Podravka Vegeti koji je pristao i prihvatio moju dvostruku ulogu. I za njih je to, vjerujem, velika čast. Znate i sami da zbog natrpanog kalendara natjecanja nemamo mnogo vremena za upoznavanje i pripremu ekipe za Svjetsko prvenstvo, ali mogu reći da imamo sreću jer je ekipa dugo na okupu, dobro posložena, ima svoju čvrstu okosnicu i  igru. Nadam se samo da će sve biti zdrave i na raspolaganju kada se uskoro okupimo. Svjetsko prvenstvo je veliki izazov za sve nas", izjavio je Obrvan.

Istodobno, Upravni odbor HRS–a imenovao je Izvršni odbor muškog Svjetskog prvenstva 2025. godine kojem će Hrvatska biti domaćin zajedno s Danskom i Švedskom. U njemu se nalaze provjereni kadrovi iz mnogih velikih natjecanja koje je Hrvatska do sada organizirala. Izvršni odbor ima devet članova: predsjednik Tomislav Grahovac, Damir Poljak, Zoran Gobac, Silvijo Njirić, Romeo Vrečko, Boris Mesarić, Krešo Prosoli, Branimir Kos i Josip Ćurković.

Upravni odbor Hrvatskog rukometnog saveza jednoglasno je na svojoj 6. sjednici  razriješio Nenada Šoštarića izborničke funkcije hrvatske ženske seniorske reprezentacije, a zatim izabrao i potvrdio Ivicu Obrvana za novog izbornika, objavljeno je u petak na službenim stranicama HRS-a. 

Riječ je o vrhunskom stručnjaku koji je do sada vodio najjače hrvatske klubove poput Metkovića, Medveščaka, Zagreba, ali i inozemne Gorenje Velenje, Chambery. Do sada je bio izbornik i dviju reprezentacija – muške seniorske reprezentacije Sj. Makedonije te muške seniorske reprezentacije Bosne i Hercegovine. Ne treba posebno podsjećati da je imao i sjajnu igračku karijeru. Ivica Obrvan trenutačno obnaša dužnost trenera RK Podravka Vegete.  

Kao što je poznato, hrvatska ženska seniorska reprezentacija ostala je bez izbornika nakon što je Nenad Šoštarić prihvatio ponudu i postao trener Zagreba. Upravni odbor HRS–a uputio je iznimne riječi zahvale sada već bivšem izborniku na sjajnim rezultatima i povratku hrvatskog ženskog rukometa na kartu svijeta. Šoštarić je u svom drugom mandatu na klupi reprezentacije, Hrvatskoj donio dvije medalje – europsku broncu u Danskoj 2020. godine te mediteransko srebro 2022. godine.

Hrvatsku žensku reprezentaciju za mjesec dana očekuje Svjetsko prvenstvo kojem su domaćini Švedska, Danska i Norveška tako da je pred novim izbornikom iznimno kratko vrijeme za pripremu reprezentacije.

"Želio bih se zahvaliti Hrvatskom rukometnom savezu na imenovanju. Izuzetna mi je čast što ću postati trener ženske reprezentacije. To je veliko priznanje, ali i velika odgovornost. Zahvaljujem se naravno i klubu Podravka Vegeti koji je pristao i prihvatio moju dvostruku ulogu. I za njih je to, vjerujem, velika čast. Znate i sami da zbog natrpanog kalendara natjecanja nemamo mnogo vremena za upoznavanje i pripremu ekipe za Svjetsko prvenstvo, ali mogu reći da imamo sreću jer je ekipa dugo na okupu, dobro posložena, ima svoju čvrstu okosnicu i  igru. Nadam se samo da će sve biti zdrave i na raspolaganju kada se uskoro okupimo. Svjetsko prvenstvo je veliki izazov za sve nas", izjavio je Obrvan.

Istodobno, Upravni odbor HRS–a imenovao je Izvršni odbor muškog Svjetskog prvenstva 2025. godine kojem će Hrvatska biti domaćin zajedno s Danskom i Švedskom. U njemu se nalaze provjereni kadrovi iz mnogih velikih natjecanja koje je Hrvatska do sada organizirala. Izvršni odbor ima devet članova: predsjednik Tomislav Grahovac, Damir Poljak, Zoran Gobac, Silvijo Njirić, Romeo Vrečko, Boris Mesarić, Krešo Prosoli, Branimir Kos i Josip Ćurković.

Hrvatska dobila novog izbornika, Ivica Obrvan i službeno preuzeo rukometašice

Upravni odbor Hrvatskog rukometnog saveza jednoglasno je na svojoj 6. sjednici  razriješio Nenada Šoštarića izborničke funkcije hrvatske ženske seniorske reprezentacije, a zatim izabrao i potvrdio Ivicu Obrvana za novog izbornika, objavljeno je u petak na službenim stranicama HRS-a. 

Riječ je o vrhunskom stručnjaku koji je do sada vodio najjače hrvatske klubove poput Metkovića, Medveščaka, Zagreba, ali i inozemne Gorenje Velenje, Chambery. Do sada je bio izbornik i dviju reprezentacija – muške seniorske reprezentacije Sj. Makedonije te muške seniorske reprezentacije Bosne i Hercegovine. Ne treba posebno podsjećati da je imao i sjajnu igračku karijeru. Ivica Obrvan trenutačno obnaša dužnost trenera RK Podravka Vegete.  

Kao što je poznato, hrvatska ženska seniorska reprezentacija ostala je bez izbornika nakon što je Nenad Šoštarić prihvatio ponudu i postao trener Zagreba. Upravni odbor HRS–a uputio je iznimne riječi zahvale sada već bivšem izborniku na sjajnim rezultatima i povratku hrvatskog ženskog rukometa na kartu svijeta. Šoštarić je u svom drugom mandatu na klupi reprezentacije, Hrvatskoj donio dvije medalje – europsku broncu u Danskoj 2020. godine te mediteransko srebro 2022. godine.

Hrvatsku žensku reprezentaciju za mjesec dana očekuje Svjetsko prvenstvo kojem su domaćini Švedska, Danska i Norveška tako da je pred novim izbornikom iznimno kratko vrijeme za pripremu reprezentacije.

"Želio bih se zahvaliti Hrvatskom rukometnom savezu na imenovanju. Izuzetna mi je čast što ću postati trener ženske reprezentacije. To je veliko priznanje, ali i velika odgovornost. Zahvaljujem se naravno i klubu Podravka Vegeti koji je pristao i prihvatio moju dvostruku ulogu. I za njih je to, vjerujem, velika čast. Znate i sami da zbog natrpanog kalendara natjecanja nemamo mnogo vremena za upoznavanje i pripremu ekipe za Svjetsko prvenstvo, ali mogu reći da imamo sreću jer je ekipa dugo na okupu, dobro posložena, ima svoju čvrstu okosnicu i  igru. Nadam se samo da će sve biti zdrave i na raspolaganju kada se uskoro okupimo. Svjetsko prvenstvo je veliki izazov za sve nas", izjavio je Obrvan.

Istodobno, Upravni odbor HRS–a imenovao je Izvršni odbor muškog Svjetskog prvenstva 2025. godine kojem će Hrvatska biti domaćin zajedno s Danskom i Švedskom.
