Mogao je pretpostaviti da će ga u Makarskoj čuvati kao ‘kao kap vode na dlanu’, ali da će ga na aerodromu u Kaštelima osobno dočekati Alen Bokšić, e, to mu nije bilo ni na kraj pameti.
Zna dobro Thierry Omeyer tko je Bokšić, još iz dana dok je Boka zabijao za Olympique iz Marseilea i s tim klubom bio prvak Europe.
- Bienvenu à la Croatie Thierry, j’espère que tu as eu un vol agréable – dočekao je Bokšić na francuskom ponajboljeg rukometnog vratara na svijetu zajedno s Draganom Vukovićem, jednim od dvojice idejnih začetnika i organizatora prvog međunarodnog kampa za rukometne vratare u Makarskoj.
‘Dobrodošao nam u Hrvatsku Thierry, nadam se da si imao ugodan let’, stisnuo mu je ruku Alen i nakon što je prtljaga ubačena u gepek prihvatio se volana od Kaštela do Makarske.
Vožnja džipom bila je drugi ‘dodir’ bračnog para Omeyer, s ljepotama Dalmacije, prije toga su Thierry i supruga Laurence već ostali bez daha promatrajući iz ptičje perspektive, na letu do Splita, ljepote ovog dijela Mediterana. Nije ovo pretjerivanje za potrebe novinskog teksta, njihovo oduševljenje bilo je istinsko.
- Pričali su mi već hrvatski rukometaši koliko je lijepa dalmatinska obala, sad vidim da je uistinu tako. Bio sam već u Splitu prije dvije godine, ali tada smo igrali Svjetsko prvenstvo pa nisam imao vremena razgledavati prirodne ljepote. Ovo mi je prva prava prilika da upoznam ljepote Dalmacije – kazao je Thierry Omeyer.
Vozeći se od Kaštela do Makarske Boka je prepričavao Thierryju svoje dogodovštine iz vremena dok je igrao za Marseille, ali je i pokazao da nije rukometni neznalica jer je dao do znanja francuskom vrataru koliko je upoznat sa sva tri finala u kojima je baš on ‘uništio’ hrvatske rukometaše.
I u šali mu ‘zaprijetio’ da će ga sljedeći put ‘ostaviti na pola autoputa’, ako opet bude najbolji protiv Hrvatske. Kroz ćakulu se brzo došlo u Makarsku, a tamo su Thierryja i Laurence dočekala nova iznenađenja.
Od najboljeg smještaja u gradu s kojim su Omeyerovi doslovno oduševljeni jer doslovno cijelu Makarsku ‘imaju na dlanu’, preko izleta koje su im organizirali domaćini kampa. Upoznat će i Makarsku i najbolje plaže i dalmatinske delicije...
Ali, profesionalac kakav jest, Omeyer je već jučer poslijepodne, samo tri sada po dolasku u Makarsku, već odradio prvi trening s mladim vratarima, polaznicima kampa. Njima je ovo prvo iskustvo s jednim od najboljih vratara na svijetu, njemu je ovo prvo iskustvo s Makarskom, svi će doći na svoje.
Nadajmo se da nakon ovog ljeta Omeyer više neće ‘spuštati roletu’ protiv naših rukometaša. Koliko mu je dobro bilo u Makarskoj pokazat će već za pola godine na Europskom prvenstvu u Srbiji...

Mogao je pretpostaviti da će ga u Makarskoj čuvati kao ‘kao kap vode na dlanu’, ali da će ga na aerodromu u Kaštelima osobno dočekati Alen Bokšić, e, to mu nije bilo ni na kraj pameti.
Zna dobro Thierry Omeyer tko je Bokšić, još iz dana dok je Boka zabijao za Olympique iz Marseilea i s tim klubom bio prvak Europe.
- Bienvenu à la Croatie Thierry, j’espère que tu as eu un vol agréable – dočekao je Bokšić na francuskom ponajboljeg rukometnog vratara na svijetu zajedno s Draganom Vukovićem, jednim od dvojice idejnih začetnika i organizatora prvog međunarodnog kampa za rukometne vratare u Makarskoj.
‘Dobrodošao nam u Hrvatsku Thierry, nadam se da si imao ugodan let’, stisnuo mu je ruku Alen i nakon što je prtljaga ubačena u gepek prihvatio se volana od Kaštela do Makarske.
Vožnja džipom bila je drugi ‘dodir’ bračnog para Omeyer, s ljepotama Dalmacije, prije toga su Thierry i supruga Laurence već ostali bez daha promatrajući iz ptičje perspektive, na letu do Splita, ljepote ovog dijela Mediterana. Nije ovo pretjerivanje za potrebe novinskog teksta, njihovo oduševljenje bilo je istinsko.
- Pričali su mi već hrvatski rukometaši koliko je lijepa dalmatinska obala, sad vidim da je uistinu tako. Bio sam već u Splitu prije dvije godine, ali tada smo igrali Svjetsko prvenstvo pa nisam imao vremena razgledavati prirodne ljepote. Ovo mi je prva prava prilika da upoznam ljepote Dalmacije – kazao je Thierry Omeyer.
Vozeći se od Kaštela do Makarske Boka je prepričavao Thierryju svoje dogodovštine iz vremena dok je igrao za Marseille, ali je i pokazao da nije rukometni neznalica jer je dao do znanja francuskom vrataru koliko je upoznat sa sva tri finala u kojima je baš on ‘uništio’ hrvatske rukometaše.
I u šali mu ‘zaprijetio’ da će ga sljedeći put ‘ostaviti na pola autoputa’, ako opet bude najbolji protiv Hrvatske. Kroz ćakulu se brzo došlo u Makarsku, a tamo su Thierryja i Laurence dočekala nova iznenađenja.
Od najboljeg smještaja u gradu s kojim su Omeyerovi doslovno oduševljeni jer doslovno cijelu Makarsku ‘imaju na dlanu’, preko izleta koje su im organizirali domaćini kampa. Upoznat će i Makarsku i najbolje plaže i dalmatinske delicije...
Ali, profesionalac kakav jest, Omeyer je već jučer poslijepodne, samo tri sada po dolasku u Makarsku, već odradio prvi trening s mladim vratarima, polaznicima kampa. Njima je ovo prvo iskustvo s jednim od najboljih vratara na svijetu, njemu je ovo prvo iskustvo s Makarskom, svi će doći na svoje.
Nadajmo se da nakon ovog ljeta Omeyer više neće ‘spuštati roletu’ protiv naših rukometaša. Koliko mu je dobro bilo u Makarskoj pokazat će već za pola godine na Europskom prvenstvu u Srbiji...
