Japanska 13-godišnja Momiji Nishiya osvojila je olimpijsko zlato u uličnom skateboardingu, postavši najmlađa olimpijska pobjednica u povijesti te zemlje.

Momiji Nishiya ušla je u povijest i kao prva olimpijska prvakinja u skateboardingu, sportu koji je svoj olimpijski debi imao u Tokiju.

Međutim, nije postala i najmlađa olimpijska pobjednica. Nishiya će u 30. kolovoza proslaviti 14. rođendan, a Amerikanka Marjorie Gestring je na OI 1936. u Berlinu osvojila zlatio u skokovima u vodu s tri metra sa 13 godina i 267 dana.

Zanimljivo, niti jedna od tri osvajačice medalje nije punoljetna.

Nishiya ima 13 godina, osvajačica srebra Brazilka Rayssa Leal također ima 13 godina, dok je brončana Japanka Funa Nakayama tri godine starija.

"Sva sam natečena od suza radosnica, izvan sebe sam od sreće," kazala je Nishiya.

Japanska 13-godišnja Momiji Nishiya osvojila je olimpijsko zlato u uličnom skateboardingu, postavši najmlađa olimpijska pobjednica u povijesti te zemlje.

Momiji Nishiya ušla je u povijest i kao prva olimpijska prvakinja u skateboardingu, sportu koji je svoj olimpijski debi imao u Tokiju.

Međutim, nije postala i najmlađa olimpijska pobjednica. Nishiya će u 30. kolovoza proslaviti 14. rođendan, a Amerikanka Marjorie Gestring je na OI 1936. u Berlinu osvojila zlatio u skokovima u vodu s tri metra sa 13 godina i 267 dana.

Zanimljivo, niti jedna od tri osvajačice medalje nije punoljetna.

Nishiya ima 13 godina, osvajačica srebra Brazilka Rayssa Leal također ima 13 godina, dok je brončana Japanka Funa Nakayama tri godine starija.

"Sva sam natečena od suza radosnica, izvan sebe sam od sreće," kazala je Nishiya.

Trinaestogodišnja Japanka osvojila zlato u skateboardingu. Ipak, nije postala i najmlađa olimpijska pobjednica u povijesti Igara

Japanska 13-godišnja Momiji Nishiya osvojila je olimpijsko zlato u uličnom skateboardingu, postavši najmlađa olimpijska pobjednica u povijesti te zemlje.

Momiji Nishiya ušla je u povijest i kao prva olimpijska prvakinja u skateboardingu, sportu koji je svoj olimpijski debi imao u Tokiju.

Međutim, nije postala i najmlađa olimpijska pobjednica. Nishiya će u 30. kolovoza proslaviti 14. rođendan, a Amerikanka Marjorie Gestring je na OI 1936. u Berlinu osvojila zlatio u skokovima u vodu s tri metra sa 13 godina i 267 dana.

Zanimljivo, niti jedna od tri osvajačice medalje nije punoljetna.

Nishiya ima 13 godina, osvajačica srebra Brazilka Rayssa Leal također ima 13 godina, dok je brončana Japanka Funa Nakayama tri godine starija.
