U organizaciji jedriličarskoga kluba Labud, danas u 11 sati u Splitu starta tradiconalna, 77. mrdujska regata. Jedrilice će krenuti iz ACI-jeve marine na Zvončacu, nakon što gradonačelnik Ivan Kuret pucnjem označi start. Jedrit će se do 11 nautičkih milja udaljenog otočića Mrduja, odakle će se okrenuti natrag prema cilju na Zvončacu.

Za razliku od prošle godine, kada je bilo problema zbog nedostatka vjetra, pa se startalo po bonaci, meteorolozi ovaj put najavljuju povoljnije uvjete. Prema prognozama, na startu će puhati tramontana, dok će potom okrenuti na jugo. Nažalost, očekuje se i nešto kiše, ali moguće je da ona zaobiđe regatno polje. Rekord u broju jedrilica koje su sudjelovale oboren je prošle godine u 76. izdanju Mrduje, no mogao bi pasti već ove godine.

Lani je pobjedu odnio član Labuda Marko Murtić, sin pokojnog slikara Ede Murtića, koji je bio kormilar na maxi krstašu AAG Big One. Njegova je posada 22 milje dugu rutu prejedrila za dva sata i 42 minute. Rekord regate datira još iz davne 1973. godine, kada je jedrilica Podgora prošla kroz cilj za samo dva sata i 25 minuta.

Favorit 77. mrdujske regate je brod Astro, na kojem će jedriti braća Kuret - gradonačelnik Ivan i njegov brat Karlo, olimpijac i prvi Hrvat sudionik America’s Cupa. Radi se o vrhunskoj ‘jurilici’ koja je u modi u svijetu, brodu kojeg je Labud iznajmio posebno za ovu prigodu. S obzirom na najavu povoljnog vjetra i superbrzu jedrilicu, ne bi bilo iznenađenje da padne i 35 godina star rekord regate.

Šušur oko jedara

Mrduja, kao što je poznato, nije obična jedriličarska regata, već je prati popriličan šušur, a posljednjih godina i glamur. Tako će se, pored iskusnih jedriličarskih posada, koje će se boriti za pobjedu, biti i onih kojima rezultat nije u prvom planu, već će ovu prigodu iskoristiti za ugodan izlet na more. Očekuje se znatan broj poznatih osoba, koje će privući pozornost medija.

Od estradnih umjetnika preko političara do sportaša i ostalih osoba iz javnog života Lijepe naše. Proglašenje pobjednika zakazano je za 20.30 sati u Labudovom šatoru na Zvončacu, a sat do sat i pol kasnije uslijedit će zabavni program, u kojemu će se za štimung pobrinuti Gego i Picigin bend. Ulaz je otvoren za svih, a ne sumnjamo kako će biti veselo.

U organizaciji jedriličarskoga kluba Labud, danas u 11 sati u Splitu starta tradiconalna, 77. mrdujska regata. Jedrilice će krenuti iz ACI-jeve marine na Zvončacu, nakon što gradonačelnik Ivan Kuret pucnjem označi start. Jedrit će se do 11 nautičkih milja udaljenog otočića Mrduja, odakle će se okrenuti natrag prema cilju na Zvončacu.

Za razliku od prošle godine, kada je bilo problema zbog nedostatka vjetra, pa se startalo po bonaci, meteorolozi ovaj put najavljuju povoljnije uvjete. Prema prognozama, na startu će puhati tramontana, dok će potom okrenuti na jugo. Nažalost, očekuje se i nešto kiše, ali moguće je da ona zaobiđe regatno polje. Rekord u broju jedrilica koje su sudjelovale oboren je prošle godine u 76. izdanju Mrduje, no mogao bi pasti već ove godine.

Lani je pobjedu odnio član Labuda Marko Murtić, sin pokojnog slikara Ede Murtića, koji je bio kormilar na maxi krstašu AAG Big One. Njegova je posada 22 milje dugu rutu prejedrila za dva sata i 42 minute. Rekord regate datira još iz davne 1973. godine, kada je jedrilica Podgora prošla kroz cilj za samo dva sata i 25 minuta.

Favorit 77. mrdujske regate je brod Astro, na kojem će jedriti braća Kuret - gradonačelnik Ivan i njegov brat Karlo, olimpijac i prvi Hrvat sudionik America’s Cupa. Radi se o vrhunskoj ‘jurilici’ koja je u modi u svijetu, brodu kojeg je Labud iznajmio posebno za ovu prigodu. S obzirom na najavu povoljnog vjetra i superbrzu jedrilicu, ne bi bilo iznenađenje da padne i 35 godina star rekord regate.

Šušur oko jedara

Mrduja, kao što je poznato, nije obična jedriličarska regata, već je prati popriličan šušur, a posljednjih godina i glamur. Tako će se, pored iskusnih jedriličarskih posada, koje će se boriti za pobjedu, biti i onih kojima rezultat nije u prvom planu, već će ovu prigodu iskoristiti za ugodan izlet na more. Očekuje se znatan broj poznatih osoba, koje će privući pozornost medija.

Od estradnih umjetnika preko političara do sportaša i ostalih osoba iz javnog života Lijepe naše. Proglašenje pobjednika zakazano je za 20.30 sati u Labudovom šatoru na Zvončacu, a sat do sat i pol kasnije uslijedit će zabavni program, u kojemu će se za štimung pobrinuti Gego i Picigin bend. Ulaz je otvoren za svih, a ne sumnjamo kako će biti veselo.
