Natjecatelji kojima na ovogodišnjim Olimpijskim igrama u Pekingu bude otkriven doping u krvi neće moći nastupiti na Olimpijadi u Londonu 2012. godine, odlučio je Međunarodni olimpijski odbor.

Ova odluka stupa na snagu 1. srpnja i tiče se svih sportaša kojima će u Pekingu biti otkrivena nedozvoljena sredstva u organizmu.

- Ako neki sportaš bude uhvaćen s dopingom u krvi, i za to dobije kaznu od šest ili više mjeseci, automatski mu neće biti dozvoljen nastup ni za četiri godine u Londonu - rekla je MOO-ov direktorica za komunikacije Giselle Davies.

MOO je prvotno bio najavio da će za uvođenje ove odredbe biti potrebne izmjene pravilnika, što bi značilo da bi ona mogla stupiti na snagu tek nakon Olimpijade u Pekingu, koja je na rasporedu od 8. do 24. kolovoza.

Međutim, odredba je uvedena kao pravilo vezano za sportaše koji imaju pravo nastupa, te je Izvršni odbor može potvrditi bez mijenjanja pravilnika. Inače, u Pekingu će biti obavljeno oko 4500 dopinških testova, gotovo tisuću više nego što ih je provedeno u Ateni prije četiri godine.

Olimpijci će moći biti provjeravani više puta tijekom jednog te istog dana. Bit će testirano pet prvoplasiranih natjecatelja u svojim sportovima, te druga dvojica slučajno odabranih sportaša.

Postojat će 41 mjesto za dopinšku kontrolu, od kojih 34 u samom Pekingu, te sedam u ostalim gradovima koji će ugostiti neka sportove. Osim borbe protiv dopinga, MOO će se u Pekingu upustiti i u borbu s kladioničarskim namještanjem natjecanja.

- Potpisali smo sporazum s najvećim kladioničarskim tvrtkama, koje će nas obavještavati ako se pojave čudne uplate ili bilo što sumnjivo. Jasno da nam je takva suradnja potrebna - izjavio je predsjednik MOO-a Jacques Rogge.

Natjecatelji kojima na ovogodišnjim Olimpijskim igrama u Pekingu bude otkriven doping u krvi neće moći nastupiti na Olimpijadi u Londonu 2012. godine, odlučio je Međunarodni olimpijski odbor.

Ova odluka stupa na snagu 1. srpnja i tiče se svih sportaša kojima će u Pekingu biti otkrivena nedozvoljena sredstva u organizmu.

- Ako neki sportaš bude uhvaćen s dopingom u krvi, i za to dobije kaznu od šest ili više mjeseci, automatski mu neće biti dozvoljen nastup ni za četiri godine u Londonu - rekla je MOO-ov direktorica za komunikacije Giselle Davies.

MOO je prvotno bio najavio da će za uvođenje ove odredbe biti potrebne izmjene pravilnika, što bi značilo da bi ona mogla stupiti na snagu tek nakon Olimpijade u Pekingu, koja je na rasporedu od 8. do 24. kolovoza.

Međutim, odredba je uvedena kao pravilo vezano za sportaše koji imaju pravo nastupa, te je Izvršni odbor može potvrditi bez mijenjanja pravilnika. Inače, u Pekingu će biti obavljeno oko 4500 dopinških testova, gotovo tisuću više nego što ih je provedeno u Ateni prije četiri godine.

Olimpijci će moći biti provjeravani više puta tijekom jednog te istog dana. Bit će testirano pet prvoplasiranih natjecatelja u svojim sportovima, te druga dvojica slučajno odabranih sportaša.

Postojat će 41 mjesto za dopinšku kontrolu, od kojih 34 u samom Pekingu, te sedam u ostalim gradovima koji će ugostiti neka sportove. Osim borbe protiv dopinga, MOO će se u Pekingu upustiti i u borbu s kladioničarskim namještanjem natjecanja.

- Potpisali smo sporazum s najvećim kladioničarskim tvrtkama, koje će nas obavještavati ako se pojave čudne uplate ili bilo što sumnjivo. Jasno da nam je takva suradnja potrebna - izjavio je predsjednik MOO-a Jacques Rogge.
