Vijest nije došla iz plivačkih krugova, ali je zazvučala dosta zlokobno: Duje Draganja izbačen je iz reprezentacije! Da ne bismo ostali na rekla-kazala, redom smo nazvali direktora reprezentacije Gordana Kožulja, glavnog trenera Peru Kuterovca, glavnog tajnika Hrvatskog plivačkog saveza Tomislava Karla i na kraju i našeg najboljeg plivača, srebrnog olimpijca Duju Draganju.
Nitko od p(r)ozvanih (tu isključujemo našeg reprezentativca koji ništa nije komentirao), nije negirao nesuglasice (nesporazume), no, svi su se zgrozili na izraze “izbačen”, odnosno “suspendiran”, govoreći da to ne odgovara istini.
Krenulo je od popisa reprezentativaca za EP u Istanbulu na koji je direktor Kožulj stavio 14 imena i s kojeg je Izvršni odbor skinuo trojicu (Duje Draganja, Aleksej Puninski i Nikša Roki), koji na SP u Rimu nisu plivali u opremi (kostimima) sponzora Arene.
- Na popis su stavljeni svi oni koji imaju uvjete za nastup na EP u 25-metarskom bazenu, ali za Rokija, Duju i Puninskog mi je rečeno da će biti vraćeni na listu kada sa Savezom dogovore način rješavanja pitanja vezanog uz (ne)nošenje plivačke opreme sponzora u Rimu. Ne sumnjam da će se sve riješiti unutar reprezentacije, a lista je ionako bila samo preliminarna. Konačni popis plivača za Istanbul dobit ćemo nakon međunarodnog mitinga Mladosti - objasnio je Gordan Kožulj.
Na poziv se javio i Pero Kuterovac koji je s reprezentativcima na pripremama u Makarskoj. Bio je kratak.
- Nemam pojma ni o kakvoj suspenziji. Znam samo da su imali sastanak, da je bilo govora o kostimima... I da znam, ne bih rekao.
“Izbacivanje” Draganje iz reprezentacije kategorički je negirao i glavni tajnik.
- Nije izbačen, ne možemo ga mi izbaciti. No, stav IO je da se mora dogovoriti način ponašanja reprezentativaca kako se slučaj iz Rima više ne bi ponovio. Uostalom, svi su pozvani na pripreme u Makarsku, a popis za Istanbul bit će konačan tek nakon mitinga u Zagrebu.
Priča se o još jednom Dujinu grijehu. Navodno se iz Rima vratio prije svih ostalih reprezentativaca? U igri je, čuli smo, i stegovni postupak?
- O tome je IO HPS-a saznao iz izvješća direktora reprezentacije. Razgovarat će se s Draganjom, vidjeti jesu li razlozi zbog kojih je ranije otišao opravdani. Ukoliko ne budu, najvjerojatnije ćemo ga prijaviti Stegovnoj komisiji - objasnio je Tomislav Karlo.
Na kraju smo došli i do četvrtog na SP u Rimu Duje Draganje. Bio je, osjetili smo, iznenađen, no, ništa nije komentirao.
- Ukoliko sam skinut iz reprezentacije ili suspendiran, ja o tome ne znam. Nisam dobio nikakvu pismenu odluku.
Morali smo još jednom okrenuti broj Tomislava Karla.
- Dobro je rekao. To je nešto što ćemo riješiti u zajedničkom interesu - zaključio je glavni tajnik.
I jedan od naših najboljih plivača, sada u vrućoj stolici direktora reprezentacije, želi da se problemi - ukoliko se pojave - rješavaju unutar reprezentacije.
- Razgovaramo i apsolutno se trudimo ići naprijed - objedinio je zajednički cilj Gordan Kožulj.

Vijest nije došla iz plivačkih krugova, ali je zazvučala dosta zlokobno: Duje Draganja izbačen je iz reprezentacije! Da ne bismo ostali na rekla-kazala, redom smo nazvali direktora reprezentacije Gordana Kožulja, glavnog trenera Peru Kuterovca, glavnog tajnika Hrvatskog plivačkog saveza Tomislava Karla i na kraju i našeg najboljeg plivača, srebrnog olimpijca Duju Draganju.
Nitko od p(r)ozvanih (tu isključujemo našeg reprezentativca koji ništa nije komentirao), nije negirao nesuglasice (nesporazume), no, svi su se zgrozili na izraze “izbačen”, odnosno “suspendiran”, govoreći da to ne odgovara istini.
Krenulo je od popisa reprezentativaca za EP u Istanbulu na koji je direktor Kožulj stavio 14 imena i s kojeg je Izvršni odbor skinuo trojicu (Duje Draganja, Aleksej Puninski i Nikša Roki), koji na SP u Rimu nisu plivali u opremi (kostimima) sponzora Arene.
- Na popis su stavljeni svi oni koji imaju uvjete za nastup na EP u 25-metarskom bazenu, ali za Rokija, Duju i Puninskog mi je rečeno da će biti vraćeni na listu kada sa Savezom dogovore način rješavanja pitanja vezanog uz (ne)nošenje plivačke opreme sponzora u Rimu. Ne sumnjam da će se sve riješiti unutar reprezentacije, a lista je ionako bila samo preliminarna. Konačni popis plivača za Istanbul dobit ćemo nakon međunarodnog mitinga Mladosti - objasnio je Gordan Kožulj.
Na poziv se javio i Pero Kuterovac koji je s reprezentativcima na pripremama u Makarskoj. Bio je kratak.
- Nemam pojma ni o kakvoj suspenziji. Znam samo da su imali sastanak, da je bilo govora o kostimima... I da znam, ne bih rekao.
“Izbacivanje” Draganje iz reprezentacije kategorički je negirao i glavni tajnik.
- Nije izbačen, ne možemo ga mi izbaciti. No, stav IO je da se mora dogovoriti način ponašanja reprezentativaca kako se slučaj iz Rima više ne bi ponovio. Uostalom, svi su pozvani na pripreme u Makarsku, a popis za Istanbul bit će konačan tek nakon mitinga u Zagrebu.
Priča se o još jednom Dujinu grijehu. Navodno se iz Rima vratio prije svih ostalih reprezentativaca? U igri je, čuli smo, i stegovni postupak?
- O tome je IO HPS-a saznao iz izvješća direktora reprezentacije. Razgovarat će se s Draganjom, vidjeti jesu li razlozi zbog kojih je ranije otišao opravdani. Ukoliko ne budu, najvjerojatnije ćemo ga prijaviti Stegovnoj komisiji - objasnio je Tomislav Karlo.
Na kraju smo došli i do četvrtog na SP u Rimu Duje Draganje. Bio je, osjetili smo, iznenađen, no, ništa nije komentirao.
- Ukoliko sam skinut iz reprezentacije ili suspendiran, ja o tome ne znam. Nisam dobio nikakvu pismenu odluku.
Morali smo još jednom okrenuti broj Tomislava Karla.
- Dobro je rekao. To je nešto što ćemo riješiti u zajedničkom interesu - zaključio je glavni tajnik.
I jedan od naših najboljih plivača, sada u vrućoj stolici direktora reprezentacije, želi da se problemi - ukoliko se pojave - rješavaju unutar reprezentacije.
- Razgovaramo i apsolutno se trudimo ići naprijed - objedinio je zajednički cilj Gordan Kožulj.
