Francuska momčad formule 1 Renault podnijela je prijavu protiv Racing Pointa zbog sumnji da njihovi bolidi ne ispunjavaju uvjete za sudjelovanje na utrkama. Racing Point siguran kako nije prekršio F1 pravila.

Renault je uložio prigovor sumnjajući na kršenje pravila vezanih uz samostalno dizajniranje bolida. U Renaultu smatraju kako su u Racing Pointu prekršili pravilnik koji dopušta korištenje dijelova i komponenata bolida od treće strane.

Naime, u pravilima stoji kako momčadi na bolidima smiju koristiti samo one dijelove koje su same dizajnirale, a ako koriste dijelove treće strane, ona se ne smije natjecati u F1.

U Renaultu sumnjaju kako se u bolidima Racing Pointa nalaze dijelovi Mercedesa i njihovog automobila od prošle sezone zbog čega su zatražili provjeru sastavnih dijelova njihovih bolida.

U Racing Pointu demantiraju navode iz tužbe, naglasivši kako poštuju pravila Međunarodne automobilističke federacije (FIA) i Formule 1.

- Razočarani smo što su dobri rezultati nedjeljne utrke dovedeni u pitanje zbog pogrešno shvaćenih pravila i loše pripremljenih žalbi - napisao je Racing Point.

Nakon testiranja u veljači ove godine, neke ekipe su Racing Point prozvali "ružičasti Mercedes".

U drugoj utrci sezone trkači Racing Pointa Sergio Perez i Lance Stroll, osvojili su šesto i sedmo mjesto.

Francuska momčad formule 1 Renault podnijela je prijavu protiv Racing Pointa zbog sumnji da njihovi bolidi ne ispunjavaju uvjete za sudjelovanje na utrkama. Racing Point siguran kako nije prekršio F1 pravila.

Renault je uložio prigovor sumnjajući na kršenje pravila vezanih uz samostalno dizajniranje bolida. U Renaultu smatraju kako su u Racing Pointu prekršili pravilnik koji dopušta korištenje dijelova i komponenata bolida od treće strane.

Naime, u pravilima stoji kako momčadi na bolidima smiju koristiti samo one dijelove koje su same dizajnirale, a ako koriste dijelove treće strane, ona se ne smije natjecati u F1.

U Renaultu sumnjaju kako se u bolidima Racing Pointa nalaze dijelovi Mercedesa i njihovog automobila od prošle sezone zbog čega su zatražili provjeru sastavnih dijelova njihovih bolida.

U Racing Pointu demantiraju navode iz tužbe, naglasivši kako poštuju pravila Međunarodne automobilističke federacije (FIA) i Formule 1.

- Razočarani smo što su dobri rezultati nedjeljne utrke dovedeni u pitanje zbog pogrešno shvaćenih pravila i loše pripremljenih žalbi - napisao je Racing Point.

Nakon testiranja u veljači ove godine, neke ekipe su Racing Point prozvali "ružičasti Mercedes".

U drugoj utrci sezone trkači Racing Pointa Sergio Perez i Lance Stroll, osvojili su šesto i sedmo mjesto.
