Zbog pandemije bolesti Covid-19 prisiljeni smo otkazati Motul Veliku nagradu Japana, koja je trebala biti održana 18. listopada na stazi Twin Ring Motegi, objavili su u ponedjeljak organizatori MotoGP natjecanja.

"Pripremali smo se za ovogodišnju Veliku nagradu Japana, no situacija u Japanu i u Europi je nepredvidljiva, a očekujemo i produženje zabrane međunarodnih putovanja. Nakon razgovora s Dornom, tvrtkom koja upravlja natjecanjem, složili smo se da je za dovršetak sezone jedini izbor otkazivanje VN Japana", izjavio je u službenom priopćenju Kaoru Tanaka, predsjednik tvrtke Mobilityland koja je vlasnik staze u Motegiju.

Izvršni direktor Dorna Sportsa Carmelo Ezpeleta u svojoj je izjavi istaknuo veliko žaljenje zbog otkazivanja utrke na jedinstvenoj stazi u Motegiju te ustvrdio kako će se prvi put od 1986. dogoditi da u kalendaru Svjetskog prvenstva u motociklizmu neće biti Velike nagrade Japana.

"MotoGP obitelj naporno radi kako bi mogli započeti sezonu i održati što je više moguće utrka, na najsigurniji način. Zbog toga smo odlučili da će do sredine studenoga MotoGP ostati u Europi i održati što je više moguće europskih utrka. Ako bude moguće, natjecanja na ostalim kontinentima će biti prebačena za termin nakon toga, što je prekasno za održavanje Velike nagrade Japana", zaključio je Ezpeleta.

Motociklistička sezona je započela 8. ožujka u Kataru, ali su vožene samo utrke u razredima Moto2 i Moto3. Nakon toga su sve ostale utrke odgođene ili otkazane zbog pandemije izazvane širenjem zaraze koronavirusom.

Prema sadašnjim planovima sezona bi trebala ponovno započeti utrkama u španjolskom Jerezu 19. i 26. srpnja, ako će to odobriti španjolske vlasti. Utrke će biti održane bez gledatelja i uz ograničeni broj ljudi koji će moći biti u boksovima.

Zbog pandemije bolesti Covid-19 prisiljeni smo otkazati Motul Veliku nagradu Japana, koja je trebala biti održana 18. listopada na stazi Twin Ring Motegi, objavili su u ponedjeljak organizatori MotoGP natjecanja.

"Pripremali smo se za ovogodišnju Veliku nagradu Japana, no situacija u Japanu i u Europi je nepredvidljiva, a očekujemo i produženje zabrane međunarodnih putovanja. Nakon razgovora s Dornom, tvrtkom koja upravlja natjecanjem, složili smo se da je za dovršetak sezone jedini izbor otkazivanje VN Japana", izjavio je u službenom priopćenju Kaoru Tanaka, predsjednik tvrtke Mobilityland koja je vlasnik staze u Motegiju.

Izvršni direktor Dorna Sportsa Carmelo Ezpeleta u svojoj je izjavi istaknuo veliko žaljenje zbog otkazivanja utrke na jedinstvenoj stazi u Motegiju te ustvrdio kako će se prvi put od 1986. dogoditi da u kalendaru Svjetskog prvenstva u motociklizmu neće biti Velike nagrade Japana.

"MotoGP obitelj naporno radi kako bi mogli započeti sezonu i održati što je više moguće utrka, na najsigurniji način. Zbog toga smo odlučili da će do sredine studenoga MotoGP ostati u Europi i održati što je više moguće europskih utrka. Ako bude moguće, natjecanja na ostalim kontinentima će biti prebačena za termin nakon toga, što je prekasno za održavanje Velike nagrade Japana", zaključio je Ezpeleta.

Motociklistička sezona je započela 8. ožujka u Kataru, ali su vožene samo utrke u razredima Moto2 i Moto3. Nakon toga su sve ostale utrke odgođene ili otkazane zbog pandemije izazvane širenjem zaraze koronavirusom.

Prema sadašnjim planovima sezona bi trebala ponovno započeti utrkama u španjolskom Jerezu 19. i 26. srpnja, ako će to odobriti španjolske vlasti. Utrke će biti održane bez gledatelja i uz ograničeni broj ljudi koji će moći biti u boksovima.
