U nedjelju je u kišovitom Londonu održan maraton za atletičarke, a nastupila je i hrvatska natjecateljica. Lisa Christina Stublić je utrku završila na 52. mjestu.

Zlatnu je medalju uzela Etiopljanka Tiki Gelana, srebrna je bila Kenijka Priscah Jeptoo, dok se broncom zadovoljila Ruskinja Tatjana Petrova.

Lisa Stublić je sjajno odradila nešto više od polovice maratona. Još iza 20-og kilometra na utrci Stublić je bila u vodećoj skupini maratonki, među njih dvadesetak. No, tada su Kenijke i Etiopljanke odlučile pročistiti situaciju na vrhu, te je uslijed njihovog dizanja tempa mnogo atletičarki otpalo u tom ritmu.

Među njima je bila i Stublić koja se tada počela mučiti s odrađivanjem preostalih kilometara do kraja maratona. Na kraju je Stublić zaostala jedanaest minuta za najbržom Etiopljankom.

Kada je u pitanju sam vrh redoslijeda recimo da je zadnjih deset kilometara zajedno odrađivalo pet maratonki, među kojima se potom, u samom finišu, odvojila Tiki Gelana te je s vremenom 2:23.07 postavila novo najbolje vrijeme u povijesti olimpijskih igara. Pet sekundi iza nje je ciljem prošla Kenijka Jeptoo, dok je broncu, s nešto više od 20 sekundi slabijim vremenom, osvojila Ruskinja Petrova.

U nedjelju je u kišovitom Londonu održan maraton za atletičarke, a nastupila je i hrvatska natjecateljica. Lisa Christina Stublić je utrku završila na 52. mjestu.

Zlatnu je medalju uzela Etiopljanka Tiki Gelana, srebrna je bila Kenijka Priscah Jeptoo, dok se broncom zadovoljila Ruskinja Tatjana Petrova.

Lisa Stublić je sjajno odradila nešto više od polovice maratona. Još iza 20-og kilometra na utrci Stublić je bila u vodećoj skupini maratonki, među njih dvadesetak. No, tada su Kenijke i Etiopljanke odlučile pročistiti situaciju na vrhu, te je uslijed njihovog dizanja tempa mnogo atletičarki otpalo u tom ritmu.

Među njima je bila i Stublić koja se tada počela mučiti s odrađivanjem preostalih kilometara do kraja maratona. Na kraju je Stublić zaostala jedanaest minuta za najbržom Etiopljankom.

Kada je u pitanju sam vrh redoslijeda recimo da je zadnjih deset kilometara zajedno odrađivalo pet maratonki, među kojima se potom, u samom finišu, odvojila Tiki Gelana te je s vremenom 2:23.07 postavila novo najbolje vrijeme u povijesti olimpijskih igara. Pet sekundi iza nje je ciljem prošla Kenijka Jeptoo, dok je broncu, s nešto više od 20 sekundi slabijim vremenom, osvojila Ruskinja Petrova.
