Uistinu je na trenutak izgledalo kao da postoji realna šansa da grad Split bude domaćin velikog sportskog natjecanja. Europske igre 2027., pokrenula se inicijativa iz Kluba splitskih olimpijaca da se ovaj veliki, relativno nov događaj dovede u grad pod Marjanom. Svojevrsna mini Olimpijada.

Baku 2015., Minsk, 2019., Krakov 2023., trebalo je na kraju ovog niza stajati Split 2027. Biti domaćin takvog događaja bi imalo dugoročan pozitivni utjecaj na infrastrukturu i razvoj grada. Ne treba spominjati koliko su bitne za Split bile Mediteranske igre 1979. Slobodno se može reći da otada nijedan ozbiljan projekt sportske infrastrukture nije završen.

No, tišina iz Vlade i Grada su dovoljan nagovještaj da nažalost, po svemu sudeći, neće biti ničega.

Ali, dok se kod nas ništa ne miče, drugi su svjesni prilike koja se nudi i neće čekati. Istanbul je ozbiljno zagrizao za domaćinstvo, želi ga u paketu s Olimpijskim igrama 2036., pogotovo nakon što im je Tokio ispred nosa "uzeo" Igre 2020.

- Istanbul je grad spreman za Europske igre sa svim svojim mogućnostima. Vjerujemo da će organiziranje Igara u Istanbulu poslati snažnu poruku Europi i ostatku svijeta - izjavio je gradonačelnik Istanbula Ekrem İmamoğlu pred predsjednikom Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora Thomasom Bachom.

Poslat će poruku Europi, ali ponajviše Splitu i vladajućima u Hrvatskoj koji očito neće shvatiti što su propustili dok ne bude prekasno.

Uistinu je na trenutak izgledalo kao da postoji realna šansa da grad Split bude domaćin velikog sportskog natjecanja. Europske igre 2027., pokrenula se inicijativa iz Kluba splitskih olimpijaca da se ovaj veliki, relativno nov događaj dovede u grad pod Marjanom. Svojevrsna mini Olimpijada.

Baku 2015., Minsk, 2019., Krakov 2023., trebalo je na kraju ovog niza stajati Split 2027. Biti domaćin takvog događaja bi imalo dugoročan pozitivni utjecaj na infrastrukturu i razvoj grada. Ne treba spominjati koliko su bitne za Split bile Mediteranske igre 1979. Slobodno se može reći da otada nijedan ozbiljan projekt sportske infrastrukture nije završen.

No, tišina iz Vlade i Grada su dovoljan nagovještaj da nažalost, po svemu sudeći, neće biti ničega.

Ali, dok se kod nas ništa ne miče, drugi su svjesni prilike koja se nudi i neće čekati. Istanbul je ozbiljno zagrizao za domaćinstvo, želi ga u paketu s Olimpijskim igrama 2036., pogotovo nakon što im je Tokio ispred nosa "uzeo" Igre 2020.

- Istanbul je grad spreman za Europske igre sa svim svojim mogućnostima. Vjerujemo da će organiziranje Igara u Istanbulu poslati snažnu poruku Europi i ostatku svijeta - izjavio je gradonačelnik Istanbula Ekrem İmamoğlu pred predsjednikom Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora Thomasom Bachom.

Poslat će poruku Europi, ali ponajviše Splitu i vladajućima u Hrvatskoj koji očito neće shvatiti što su propustili dok ne bude prekasno.

Uistinu je na trenutak izgledalo kao da postoji realna šansa da grad Split bude domaćin velikog sportskog natjecanja. Europske igre 2027., pokrenula se inicijativa iz Kluba splitskih olimpijaca da se ovaj veliki, relativno nov događaj dovede u grad pod Marjanom. Svojevrsna mini Olimpijada.

Baku 2015., Minsk, 2019., Krakov 2023., trebalo je na kraju ovog niza stajati Split 2027. Biti domaćin takvog događaja bi imalo dugoročan pozitivni utjecaj na infrastrukturu i razvoj grada. Ne treba spominjati koliko su bitne za Split bile Mediteranske igre 1979. Slobodno se može reći da otada nijedan ozbiljan projekt sportske infrastrukture nije završen.

No, tišina iz Vlade i Grada su dovoljan nagovještaj da nažalost, po svemu sudeći, neće biti ničega.

Ali, dok se kod nas ništa ne miče, drugi su svjesni prilike koja se nudi i neće čekati. Istanbul je ozbiljno zagrizao za domaćinstvo, želi ga u paketu s Olimpijskim igrama 2036., pogotovo nakon što im je Tokio ispred nosa "uzeo" Igre 2020.

- Istanbul je grad spreman za Europske igre sa svim svojim mogućnostima. Vjerujemo da će organiziranje Igara u Istanbulu poslati snažnu poruku Europi i ostatku svijeta - izjavio je gradonačelnik Istanbula Ekrem İmamoğlu pred predsjednikom Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora Thomasom Bachom.

Poslat će poruku Europi, ali ponajviše Splitu i vladajućima u Hrvatskoj koji očito neće shvatiti što su propustili dok ne bude prekasno.
