Jedan od najvećih talenata hrvatskog sporta, plivački reprezentativac s ostvarenom olimpijskom “vizom” za Tokio, Franko Grgić, prema svemu sudeći neće ostvariti olimpijski debi ovoga ljeta.

Razlog je ozljeda desnog ramena, točnije ruptura (puknuće) ligamenta, nužan je operativni zahvat, nakon čega slijedi dulje razdoblje rehabilitacije.

Hrvatski olimpijski odbor (HOO) upoznat je s tom činjenicom, jer je Grgićevo liječenje u posljednje dvije godine organizirano u izravnom kontaktu obitelji s tajnicom Zdravstvene komisije HOO-a Mimi Vurdeljom, koja je koordinirala angažman eminentnih liječnika iz sastava Komisije. Tako je bilo i prigodom posljednjeg pregleda u Zagrebu prošlog tjedna.

Nakon što je doc. dr. Dinko Pivalica pregledao nalaze, konzultirao se se s kolegama iz Zdravstvene komisije HOO-a, te je njezin predsjednik dr. Miran Martinac dao službenu izjavu:

- Nakon pregleda nalaza Franka Grgića, utvrdili smo da njegova ozljeda ramena  iziskuje operativni zahvat, a koji povlači za sobom i dulje razdoblje rehabilitacije. Budući da je do Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju ostalo pedesetak dana, moramo konstatirati da je njegov olimpijski nastup doveden u pitanje. Franku je najteže u ovoj situaciji, možemo mu samo poželjeti uspješan oporavak i nove pobjede u njegovu sportu, a s obzirom na njegove godine, vjerujemo da će biti još i olimpijskih nastupa.

Predsjednik Hrvatskog plivačkog saveza (HPS) Vladislav Veselica također je izrazio žaljenje zbog takvog raspleta:

- U Hrvatskom plivačkom savezu sa žaljenjem smo primili vijest o ozljedi Franka Grgića. Želimo mu brz oporavak i uspješan povratak u bazen u dubokoj vjeri da će nas u nastupajućim godinama iznova razveseliti svojim rezultatima.

Franko Grgić ne odustaje od olimpijskih snova u budućnosti, Pariz 2024. njegova je velika prilika da bljesne u punom sjaju, umjesto ambicija za Tokio trenutačno mu je glavna preokupacija polaganje državne mature.  

- Ozljeda je viša sila na koju se ne može utjecati, ali vjerujem da ću olimpijske ambicije ostvariti, ako ne u Tokiju, onda za tri godine u Parizu - kratko je poručio Franko Grgić

Jedan od najvećih talenata hrvatskog sporta, plivački reprezentativac s ostvarenom olimpijskom “vizom” za Tokio, Franko Grgić, prema svemu sudeći neće ostvariti olimpijski debi ovoga ljeta.

Razlog je ozljeda desnog ramena, točnije ruptura (puknuće) ligamenta, nužan je operativni zahvat, nakon čega slijedi dulje razdoblje rehabilitacije.

Hrvatski olimpijski odbor (HOO) upoznat je s tom činjenicom, jer je Grgićevo liječenje u posljednje dvije godine organizirano u izravnom kontaktu obitelji s tajnicom Zdravstvene komisije HOO-a Mimi Vurdeljom, koja je koordinirala angažman eminentnih liječnika iz sastava Komisije. Tako je bilo i prigodom posljednjeg pregleda u Zagrebu prošlog tjedna.

Nakon što je doc. dr. Dinko Pivalica pregledao nalaze, konzultirao se se s kolegama iz Zdravstvene komisije HOO-a, te je njezin predsjednik dr. Miran Martinac dao službenu izjavu:

- Nakon pregleda nalaza Franka Grgića, utvrdili smo da njegova ozljeda ramena  iziskuje operativni zahvat, a koji povlači za sobom i dulje razdoblje rehabilitacije. Budući da je do Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju ostalo pedesetak dana, moramo konstatirati da je njegov olimpijski nastup doveden u pitanje. Franku je najteže u ovoj situaciji, možemo mu samo poželjeti uspješan oporavak i nove pobjede u njegovu sportu, a s obzirom na njegove godine, vjerujemo da će biti još i olimpijskih nastupa.

Predsjednik Hrvatskog plivačkog saveza (HPS) Vladislav Veselica također je izrazio žaljenje zbog takvog raspleta:

- U Hrvatskom plivačkom savezu sa žaljenjem smo primili vijest o ozljedi Franka Grgića. Želimo mu brz oporavak i uspješan povratak u bazen u dubokoj vjeri da će nas u nastupajućim godinama iznova razveseliti svojim rezultatima.

Franko Grgić ne odustaje od olimpijskih snova u budućnosti, Pariz 2024. njegova je velika prilika da bljesne u punom sjaju, umjesto ambicija za Tokio trenutačno mu je glavna preokupacija polaganje državne mature.  

- Ozljeda je viša sila na koju se ne može utjecati, ali vjerujem da ću olimpijske ambicije ostvariti, ako ne u Tokiju, onda za tri godine u Parizu - kratko je poručio Franko Grgić

Jedan od najvećih talenata hrvatskog sporta, plivački reprezentativac s ostvarenom olimpijskom “vizom” za Tokio, Franko Grgić, prema svemu sudeći neće ostvariti olimpijski debi ovoga ljeta.

Razlog je ozljeda desnog ramena, točnije ruptura (puknuće) ligamenta, nužan je operativni zahvat, nakon čega slijedi dulje razdoblje rehabilitacije.

Hrvatski olimpijski odbor (HOO) upoznat je s tom činjenicom, jer je Grgićevo liječenje u posljednje dvije godine organizirano u izravnom kontaktu obitelji s tajnicom Zdravstvene komisije HOO-a Mimi Vurdeljom, koja je koordinirala angažman eminentnih liječnika iz sastava Komisije. Tako je bilo i prigodom posljednjeg pregleda u Zagrebu prošlog tjedna.
