Nikad na ovakav način nije najavljena međunarodna brdska auto utrka Nagrada Malačka – sveti Dujam, a ne čudi jer je koronavirus zaustavila sezonu prvenstva Europe na brdu i kad je tako, kad se već negdje vozi, a vozi se u Hrvatskoj, evo nekih od najboljih u nas. Bili su neki dan u Skradinu, a ovog vikenda će se u još većem broju naći u Radošićima, u zaleđu Kaštela, 'priko brda', preciznije u općini Lečevica gdje je staza, a na čijem će se platou okupiti 'oktanski cirkus' po 23. put.
- Prva utrka na Malačkoj održana je 1998. godine – precizan je Damir Katunarić, legenda ne samo splitskog asfalta. Odvozio je 'milijun' utrka, osvajao naslove, a na Malačkoj je slagao organizaciju od prve. Na ovogodišnju, ponosno ističe, dolazi dvadesetak formula, ukupno je 120 prijavljenih vozača iz Poljske, Mađarske, Italije, Češke, Slovenije, Crne Gore, Hrvatske...
Ovogodišnji 'kapitalci' su Talijan Simone Faggioli, koji je u kategoriji II čak jedanaest puta bio prvak Europe i koji je aktualni europski prvak, jedini koji je u povijesti prvenstva na europskim brdima s dvoznamenkastim brojem naslova, a drugi Christian Merli, dvostruki europski prvak. U Skradinu je 'siromašniji' bio brži, osvojio 14. Nagradu Skradina, ali rekord staze potpisao je Faggioli.
Njihov dolazak, ali ne samo njihov, ponovno je okupio staru ekipu, koja je od prvog izdanja radila utrku na Malačkoj. Neki su rekli nakon pustih godina 'dosta je bilo', bili po strani zadnje dvije, tri godine, ali kad su čuli kako bi elita mogla doć, kako bi ovogodišnja Nagrada trebala biti najjača u povijesti, došli su pomoći,.
- Bez njih se ne bi moglo - dodao je Katunarić.
Žarko Knego, član najuspješnijeg kluba, Dubrovnik Racinga, i sam je osvajao pojedinačne naslove prvaka, obožava more i asfalt. Jedrio je kao mali, potom je sjeo za volan. Ostala je ta ljubav prema moru. Ukrcao je ekipu u Splitu u svoj gliser, odveo ih kroz splitska vrata do Hvara te Paklenih otoka. Jurili su brzinom od 27 milja, ali to je ništa, kažu, koliko se zna juriti stazom na Malačkoj.
- S obzirom na brzinu koja se postiže na Malačkoj, ide se prosječnom brzinom većom od 110 kilometara, ovo je upoznavanje staze – smije se Knego dok 'reže' morsku pučinu.
Crnogorac Miloš Asanović drži rekord staze na Malačkoj, 4100 metara je projurio za dvije minute i sedam sekundi (i nešto sitno), ali teško će taj njegov rekord preživjeti ovaj vikend, kao što je bilo s rekordom u Skradinu. Tamo ga je uz Krku godinama držao Mađar Laszlo Szasz, a onda su došli vladari europskog brda s formulama, stisnuli gas, te poslali u povijest Szasza, koji u 'dresu' Dubrovnik Racinga juri ove godine devetu uzastopnu titulu u kategoriji II, Dijamantnu kacigu.
Uglavnom, u četvrtak je 'plovila' 23. Nagrada Malačka – sveti Duje, Merli je malo reći oduševljen viđenim, a za vikend je za nju rezerviran asfalt na Kozjaku na kojem će se naći uvjerljivo najjača ekipa u povijesti utrke, a to je razlog zbog čega stižu novinari iz Francuske i Italije.

Nikad na ovakav način nije najavljena međunarodna brdska auto utrka Nagrada Malačka – sveti Dujam, a ne čudi jer je koronavirus zaustavila sezonu prvenstva Europe na brdu i kad je tako, kad se već negdje vozi, a vozi se u Hrvatskoj, evo nekih od najboljih u nas. Bili su neki dan u Skradinu, a ovog vikenda će se u još većem broju naći u Radošićima, u zaleđu Kaštela, 'priko brda', preciznije u općini Lečevica gdje je staza, a na čijem će se platou okupiti 'oktanski cirkus' po 23. put.
- Prva utrka na Malačkoj održana je 1998. godine – precizan je Damir Katunarić, legenda ne samo splitskog asfalta. Odvozio je 'milijun' utrka, osvajao naslove, a na Malačkoj je slagao organizaciju od prve. Na ovogodišnju, ponosno ističe, dolazi dvadesetak formula, ukupno je 120 prijavljenih vozača iz Poljske, Mađarske, Italije, Češke, Slovenije, Crne Gore, Hrvatske...
Ovogodišnji 'kapitalci' su Talijan Simone Faggioli, koji je u kategoriji II čak jedanaest puta bio prvak Europe i koji je aktualni europski prvak, jedini koji je u povijesti prvenstva na europskim brdima s dvoznamenkastim brojem naslova, a drugi Christian Merli, dvostruki europski prvak. U Skradinu je 'siromašniji' bio brži, osvojio 14. Nagradu Skradina, ali rekord staze potpisao je Faggioli.
Njihov dolazak, ali ne samo njihov, ponovno je okupio staru ekipu, koja je od prvog izdanja radila utrku na Malačkoj. Neki su rekli nakon pustih godina 'dosta je bilo', bili po strani zadnje dvije, tri godine, ali kad su čuli kako bi elita mogla doć, kako bi ovogodišnja Nagrada trebala biti najjača u povijesti, došli su pomoći,.
- Bez njih se ne bi moglo - dodao je Katunarić.
Žarko Knego, član najuspješnijeg kluba, Dubrovnik Racinga, i sam je osvajao pojedinačne naslove prvaka, obožava more i asfalt. Jedrio je kao mali, potom je sjeo za volan. Ostala je ta ljubav prema moru. Ukrcao je ekipu u Splitu u svoj gliser, odveo ih kroz splitska vrata do Hvara te Paklenih otoka. Jurili su brzinom od 27 milja, ali to je ništa, kažu, koliko se zna juriti stazom na Malačkoj.
- S obzirom na brzinu koja se postiže na Malačkoj, ide se prosječnom brzinom većom od 110 kilometara, ovo je upoznavanje staze – smije se Knego dok 'reže' morsku pučinu.
Crnogorac Miloš Asanović drži rekord staze na Malačkoj, 4100 metara je projurio za dvije minute i sedam sekundi (i nešto sitno), ali teško će taj njegov rekord preživjeti ovaj vikend, kao što je bilo s rekordom u Skradinu. Tamo ga je uz Krku godinama držao Mađar Laszlo Szasz, a onda su došli vladari europskog brda s formulama, stisnuli gas, te poslali u povijest Szasza, koji u 'dresu' Dubrovnik Racinga juri ove godine devetu uzastopnu titulu u kategoriji II, Dijamantnu kacigu.
Uglavnom, u četvrtak je 'plovila' 23. Nagrada Malačka – sveti Duje, Merli je malo reći oduševljen viđenim, a za vikend je za nju rezerviran asfalt na Kozjaku na kojem će se naći uvjerljivo najjača ekipa u povijesti utrke, a to je razlog zbog čega stižu novinari iz Francuske i Italije.
