Šimić je nakon slavlja u Šangaju skakala za nijansu slabije u Eugeneu, no čak ni izdanje iz kineskog grada joj ne bi bilo dostatno za neki bolji rezultat. Podsjetimo, Šimić je u Šangaju slavila s preskočenih 198, no ovoga je puta zapela na 197 centimetara visine.

Prethodnih pet visina (180, 184, 188, 192 i 195 cm) preskakala je iz prve, no potom je sva tri puta rušila na 197. Konačna pobjednica Ana Čičerova je 197 preskočila tek iz trećeg pokušaja, ali je nakon toga iz drugog savladala 199, da bi potom postavila najbolji rezultat sezone s preskočenih 201 iz prve!

Drugo je mjesto osvojila Poljakinja Justyna Kasprzycka, koja je najbolji rezultat svoje karijere ostvarila skokom preko 199 centimetara. Broncu je uzela europska prvakinja Ruth Beitia, koja je također preskočila 199, ali joj je za to trebalo više pokušaja.

U ukupnom poretku Dijamantne lige, u disciplini skoka u vis, Šimić je ostala prva, ali sada to mjesto dijeli s današnjom pobjednicom Čičerovom. Naime, obje sada imaju po četiri boda.

Šimić je nakon slavlja u Šangaju skakala za nijansu slabije u Eugeneu, no čak ni izdanje iz kineskog grada joj ne bi bilo dostatno za neki bolji rezultat. Podsjetimo, Šimić je u Šangaju slavila s preskočenih 198, no ovoga je puta zapela na 197 centimetara visine.

Prethodnih pet visina (180, 184, 188, 192 i 195 cm) preskakala je iz prve, no potom je sva tri puta rušila na 197. Konačna pobjednica Ana Čičerova je 197 preskočila tek iz trećeg pokušaja, ali je nakon toga iz drugog savladala 199, da bi potom postavila najbolji rezultat sezone s preskočenih 201 iz prve!

Drugo je mjesto osvojila Poljakinja Justyna Kasprzycka, koja je najbolji rezultat svoje karijere ostvarila skokom preko 199 centimetara. Broncu je uzela europska prvakinja Ruth Beitia, koja je također preskočila 199, ali joj je za to trebalo više pokušaja.

U ukupnom poretku Dijamantne lige, u disciplini skoka u vis, Šimić je ostala prva, ali sada to mjesto dijeli s današnjom pobjednicom Čičerovom. Naime, obje sada imaju po četiri boda.

Ruskinja Ana Čičerova pobjednica je mitinga Dijamantne lige u skoku u vis, dok je naša Ana Šimić završila natjecanje tek na petom mjestu.
