Mirko Filipović ispisao je povijest u u 42. godini s dva nokauta i jednim tehničkim nokautom osvojio Rizinov Grand Prix.
Vidljivo emotivni Mirko nakon pobjede nije uspio suzdržati suze, a u pobjedničkom govoru dotakao se teških priprema za ovaj turnir.
- Bio je ovo težak turnir. Imao sam problema s ozljedama, ali na kraju dana pojas je tu. Pripreme su mi bile teške, možda i najteže u karijeri. Hvala mojim prijateljima bez kojih ovo ne bi bilo moguće - rekao je Mirko i dodao:
- Ovo je veoma posebna večer za mene, deset godina nakon što sam na ovom mjestu osvojio Prideov Grand Prix, puno je emocija, puno mi toga prolazi kroz glavu. Hvala vam.
Zatim je Mirko uputio još jednu poruku, ovaj put na hrvatskom jeziku.
- Hvala svima koji su mi dali podršku u Hrvatskoj, ali ovaj pojas želim posvetiti mome Ivanu. On će sada napuniti 14 godina, to je moja sreća i moj ponos. Nisam zaboravio ni drugog sina, Filipa, ali on je još premali da razumije što mu tata radi, Ivan to itekako dobro razumije - zaključio je svoj govor Mirko.

Mirko Filipović ispisao je povijest u u 42. godini s dva nokauta i jednim tehničkim nokautom osvojio Rizinov Grand Prix.
Vidljivo emotivni Mirko nakon pobjede nije uspio suzdržati suze, a u pobjedničkom govoru dotakao se teških priprema za ovaj turnir.
- Bio je ovo težak turnir. Imao sam problema s ozljedama, ali na kraju dana pojas je tu. Pripreme su mi bile teške, možda i najteže u karijeri. Hvala mojim prijateljima bez kojih ovo ne bi bilo moguće - rekao je Mirko i dodao:
- Ovo je veoma posebna večer za mene, deset godina nakon što sam na ovom mjestu osvojio Prideov Grand Prix, puno je emocija, puno mi toga prolazi kroz glavu. Hvala vam.
Zatim je Mirko uputio još jednu poruku, ovaj put na hrvatskom jeziku.
- Hvala svima koji su mi dali podršku u Hrvatskoj, ali ovaj pojas želim posvetiti mome Ivanu. On će sada napuniti 14 godina, to je moja sreća i moj ponos. Nisam zaboravio ni drugog sina, Filipa, ali on je još premali da razumije što mu tata radi, Ivan to itekako dobro razumije - zaključio je svoj govor Mirko.
