Aktualni i sedmerostruki svjetski prvak Francuz Sebastien Ogier (Toyota) pobijedio je u nedjelju u prvom izdanju Croatia Rallyja, trećem natjecanju Svjetskog prvenstva u reliju.

Uoči posljednjeg brzinca Velšanin Elfyn Evans (Toyota) je imao 3.9 sekunde prednosti u odnosu na Ogiera, ali je na zadnjem zavoju relija pogriješio i izgubio pobjedu za samo šest desetinki, a Ogier je došao do 51. trijumfa u karijeri. 

Tako je Evans završio na drugoj poziciji (+0.6), a treće mjesto osvojio je Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) sa +8.1 sekundi slabijim vremenom, koji je odlično vozio na zadnjem brzincu, ali se je u jednom trenutku izvrtio na stazi te je izgubio nekoliko dragocjenih sekundi. Pobjednik finskog Arctic Rallyja Estonac Ott TAnak (Hyundai) bio je četvrti sa minutu i 25.1 sekundi zaostatka.

Nakon uzbudljivog završetka prvog Croatia Rallyja u Kumrovcu su dodijeljeni pehari u svim kategorijama. Pobjedničkoj posadi Ogier/Ingrassia pehar je dodijelio predsjednik Međunarodne automobilističke federacije (FIA) Jean Todt, drugoplasiranoj momčadi Evans/Martin pehar je uručila ministrica turizma i sporta Nikolina Brnjac, a trećoj najbržoj posadi Neuville/Wydaeghe pehar je dodijelio predsjednik Hrvatskog auto i karting saveza, Davorin Štetner.

Unatoč oštećenjima na desnoj strani Yaris WRC-a nakon manje prometne nezgode na putu za 17. brzinac, posada Ogier/Ingrassia ostala je u konkurenciji za pobjedu započevši Wolf Power Stage s 3,9 sekunde iza Evansa i Martina. Iako je francuska posada napravila manju pogrešku, bili su najbrži na posljednjem brzinskom ispitu i preskočili Evansa i Martina.

Činilo se da su Britanci sigurni pobjednici sve do trenutka kad su desnom stranom široko otklizali tik pred cilj. Razlog otklizavanja bio je prebrzi ulazak u zavoj tijekom uspinjanja na uzbrdicu, a izgubljeno vrijeme značilo je i gubitak pobjede. Evans i Martin su Power Stage završili 4,5 sekundi sporije od Ogiera i Ingrassije, te 0,6 sekundi u ukupnom poretku.

- Čini se da je stvarno sve bilo blizu do nekoliko posljednjih metara - rekao je Ogier, koji se na vrhu poretka WRC-a sada nalazi s osam bodova prednosti.

- Možda nam je posljednja pogreška Elfyna donijela pobjedu, ali tijekom vikenda je cijela momčad napravila nevjerojatan posao. Naravno, emocije su nam sada došle do izražaja, a ovaj vikend je za nas bio poput ludog tobogana zbog puknute gume i problema ujutro. Da budem iskren, bilo mi je drago ostati u utrci. Zbog emocija se i bavimo relijem - kazao je Francuz.

- Čestitao sam Elfynu jer je i on obavio nevjerojatan posao. Završilo je jako blizu, ali pobjednik može biti samo jedan. Bilo je blizu cijeli vikend, ali jako sam sretan zbog cijele momčadi. Toyota tim je bio nevjerojatan ovog vikenda i ova je pobjeda za njih, osvojili smo puno bodova, a automobil je nevjerojatan. Čestitke svima - dodao je Ogier.

Britanac Evans je istaknuio kako je ostao bez pobjede jer se u zadnjem zavoju opustio.

- U tom zadnjem zavoju sam se previše opustio i potpuno promašio skretanje. Sigurno nismo sve tamo izgubili, ali jednu sekundu sigurno jesmo. Šteta, borba je cijeli vikend bila sjajna i skidam kapu Sebu za taj posljednji brzinac. Možda će idući put biti moj - poručio je 32-godišnji Velšanin.

Pogrešku u zadnjem brzincu napravio je i Belgijanac Neuville.

- Išao sam najbrže što mogu, ali sam previdio raskrižje na brzincu i izgubio tri sekunde. No, pokušali smo, dali smo sve od sebe. Cijelo vrijeme sam automobil držao na gornjoj granici mogućnosti, pokušavao sam uživati, što smo očito i učinili. Martijn je dobro odradio dobar posao, suvozačima nije bilo lako. Ali sretni smo što smo ovdje.

Ott Tanak i Martin Järveoja su završili četvrti u Hyundaiju, jedno mjesto ispred Adriena Fourmauxa i Renauda Jamoula u M-Sport Ford Fiesti WRC. 

Bio je to izvanredan rezultat za Francuza Fourmauxa, koji se prvi put natjecao u elitnoj WRC klasi u svojoj četvrtoj sezoni u karijeri.

- Zaista sam sretan nakon ovog vikenda, ali pomalo razočaran zbog toga što je reli gotov - rekao je Fourmaux i dodao: 

- Jednostavno, bilo je savršeno, mogu samo reći hvala M-Sportu i Red Bullu na svim prilikama, a i FFSA-i koja i dalje vjeruje u mene nakon četiri godine. Nevjerojatan vikend je iza nas. Mislim da smo na nekim brzinskim ispitima imali nevjerojatan ritam.

Norvežanin Mads Ostberg i suvozač Torstein Eriksen prevladali su probleme s kočenjem u svom Citroënu C3 Rally2 osvojivši pobjedu u WRC2 klasi ispred posade Suninen/Markkula kao deveti u ukupnom poretku. Rus Nikolaj Grjazin i Konstantin Aleksandrov bili su u borbi za postolje, ali su izletjeli na 19. brzinskom ispitu. 

Kajetan Kajetanowicz i Jon Armstrong odnijeli su pobjede u WRC3 i Junior WRC kategorijama.

Aktualni i sedmerostruki svjetski prvak Francuz Sebastien Ogier (Toyota) pobijedio je u nedjelju u prvom izdanju Croatia Rallyja, trećem natjecanju Svjetskog prvenstva u reliju.

Uoči posljednjeg brzinca Velšanin Elfyn Evans (Toyota) je imao 3.9 sekunde prednosti u odnosu na Ogiera, ali je na zadnjem zavoju relija pogriješio i izgubio pobjedu za samo šest desetinki, a Ogier je došao do 51. trijumfa u karijeri. 

Tako je Evans završio na drugoj poziciji (+0.6), a treće mjesto osvojio je Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) sa +8.1 sekundi slabijim vremenom, koji je odlično vozio na zadnjem brzincu, ali se je u jednom trenutku izvrtio na stazi te je izgubio nekoliko dragocjenih sekundi. Pobjednik finskog Arctic Rallyja Estonac Ott TAnak (Hyundai) bio je četvrti sa minutu i 25.1 sekundi zaostatka.

Nakon uzbudljivog završetka prvog Croatia Rallyja u Kumrovcu su dodijeljeni pehari u svim kategorijama. Pobjedničkoj posadi Ogier/Ingrassia pehar je dodijelio predsjednik Međunarodne automobilističke federacije (FIA) Jean Todt, drugoplasiranoj momčadi Evans/Martin pehar je uručila ministrica turizma i sporta Nikolina Brnjac, a trećoj najbržoj posadi Neuville/Wydaeghe pehar je dodijelio predsjednik Hrvatskog auto i karting saveza, Davorin Štetner.

Unatoč oštećenjima na desnoj strani Yaris WRC-a nakon manje prometne nezgode na putu za 17. brzinac, posada Ogier/Ingrassia ostala je u konkurenciji za pobjedu započevši Wolf Power Stage s 3,9 sekunde iza Evansa i Martina. Iako je francuska posada napravila manju pogrešku, bili su najbrži na posljednjem brzinskom ispitu i preskočili Evansa i Martina.

Činilo se da su Britanci sigurni pobjednici sve do trenutka kad su desnom stranom široko otklizali tik pred cilj. Razlog otklizavanja bio je prebrzi ulazak u zavoj tijekom uspinjanja na uzbrdicu, a izgubljeno vrijeme značilo je i gubitak pobjede. Evans i Martin su Power Stage završili 4,5 sekundi sporije od Ogiera i Ingrassije, te 0,6 sekundi u ukupnom poretku.

- Čini se da je stvarno sve bilo blizu do nekoliko posljednjih metara - rekao je Ogier, koji se na vrhu poretka WRC-a sada nalazi s osam bodova prednosti.

- Možda nam je posljednja pogreška Elfyna donijela pobjedu, ali tijekom vikenda je cijela momčad napravila nevjerojatan posao. Naravno, emocije su nam sada došle do izražaja, a ovaj vikend je za nas bio poput ludog tobogana zbog puknute gume i problema ujutro. Da budem iskren, bilo mi je drago ostati u utrci. Zbog emocija se i bavimo relijem - kazao je Francuz.

- Čestitao sam Elfynu jer je i on obavio nevjerojatan posao. Završilo je jako blizu, ali pobjednik može biti samo jedan. Bilo je blizu cijeli vikend, ali jako sam sretan zbog cijele momčadi. Toyota tim je bio nevjerojatan ovog vikenda i ova je pobjeda za njih, osvojili smo puno bodova, a automobil je nevjerojatan. Čestitke svima - dodao je Ogier.

Britanac Evans je istaknuio kako je ostao bez pobjede jer se u zadnjem zavoju opustio.

- U tom zadnjem zavoju sam se previše opustio i potpuno promašio skretanje. Sigurno nismo sve tamo izgubili, ali jednu sekundu sigurno jesmo. Šteta, borba je cijeli vikend bila sjajna i skidam kapu Sebu za taj posljednji brzinac. Možda će idući put biti moj - poručio je 32-godišnji Velšanin.

Pogrešku u zadnjem brzincu napravio je i Belgijanac Neuville.

- Išao sam najbrže što mogu, ali sam previdio raskrižje na brzincu i izgubio tri sekunde. No, pokušali smo, dali smo sve od sebe. Cijelo vrijeme sam automobil držao na gornjoj granici mogućnosti, pokušavao sam uživati, što smo očito i učinili. Martijn je dobro odradio dobar posao, suvozačima nije bilo lako. Ali sretni smo što smo ovdje.

Ott Tanak i Martin Järveoja su završili četvrti u Hyundaiju, jedno mjesto ispred Adriena Fourmauxa i Renauda Jamoula u M-Sport Ford Fiesti WRC. 

Bio je to izvanredan rezultat za Francuza Fourmauxa, koji se prvi put natjecao u elitnoj WRC klasi u svojoj četvrtoj sezoni u karijeri.

- Zaista sam sretan nakon ovog vikenda, ali pomalo razočaran zbog toga što je reli gotov - rekao je Fourmaux i dodao: 

- Jednostavno, bilo je savršeno, mogu samo reći hvala M-Sportu i Red Bullu na svim prilikama, a i FFSA-i koja i dalje vjeruje u mene nakon četiri godine. Nevjerojatan vikend je iza nas. Mislim da smo na nekim brzinskim ispitima imali nevjerojatan ritam.

Norvežanin Mads Ostberg i suvozač Torstein Eriksen prevladali su probleme s kočenjem u svom Citroënu C3 Rally2 osvojivši pobjedu u WRC2 klasi ispred posade Suninen/Markkula kao deveti u ukupnom poretku. Rus Nikolaj Grjazin i Konstantin Aleksandrov bili su u borbi za postolje, ali su izletjeli na 19. brzinskom ispitu. 

Kajetan Kajetanowicz i Jon Armstrong odnijeli su pobjede u WRC3 i Junior WRC kategorijama.

Aktualni i sedmerostruki svjetski prvak Francuz Sebastien Ogier (Toyota) pobijedio je u nedjelju u prvom izdanju Croatia Rallyja, trećem natjecanju Svjetskog prvenstva u reliju.

Uoči posljednjeg brzinca Velšanin Elfyn Evans (Toyota) je imao 3.9 sekunde prednosti u odnosu na Ogiera, ali je na zadnjem zavoju relija pogriješio i izgubio pobjedu za samo šest desetinki, a Ogier je došao do 51. trijumfa u karijeri.
