Orlando Magic je momčad koja je tijekom osnovnog dijela sezone ostvarila svega 22 pobjede, ali to im je donijelo mogućnost da sinoć u Chicagu njegovi čelnici proslave pobjedu na NBA lutriji koja im je donijela mogućnost prvog izbora na ovogodišnjem draftu.

Kuglice su odredile da će drugi izbor imati Oklahoma City Thunder. Houston Rocketsi će birati kao treći, Sacramento Kings kao četvrti, a Detroit Pistonsi kao peti koji će biti održan 23. lipnja u Barclays Centeru u Brooklynu.

Orlando, Detroit i Houston su ušli u lutriju s najvećim izgledima da će biti pobjednici, svaki sa po 14 posto izgleda. Orlandu je sreća bila naklonjena, dok su se Houston i Detroit našli iza Oklahoma Cityja koji je imao 12 posto izgleda za "broj 1".

Orlando je posljednji put imao pravo prvog izbora 2004. kad su u svoju momčad doveli Dwighta Howarda.

"Ovo je tako uzbudljivo. Imam mnogo toga čemu se možemo veseliti u ovoj organizaciji, s ovom skupinom i ovom navijačkom bazom. Ovo će biti posebno", izjavio je u prijenosu na američkom ESPN-u trener Magica Jamahl Mosley.

Osim 2004., Orlando je početkom '90-ih dvije godine zaredom birao prvi: 1992. su izabrali Shaquillea O'Neala, a 1993. Chrisa Webbera kojeg su mijenjali s Golden State Warriorsima za Pennyja Hardawaya koji je bio treći izbor.

Od ovogodišnje genracije kandidata ističu se centar Gonzage Chet Holmgren, krilo Auburna Jabari Smith i krilo Dukea Paolo Banchero su trojica košarkaša kojima analitičari daju najveće izglede da budu izabrani kao prvi.

U Chicagu će ovaj tjedan biti održan i "NBA combine", testiranje igrača koji su se prijavili na draft, na kojem će ih još jednom moći vidjeti predstavnici svih momčadi. Igrači s američkih sveučilišta koji su se prijavili za draft imaju mogućnost do 1. lipnja maknuti svoje ime s popisa prijavljenih, dok je za inozemne igrače taj rok 13. lipnja. Za ovogodišnji draft su prijavljena i četvorica hrvatskih košarkaša: Lovro Gnjidić (Cibona), Karlo Matković (Mega), Zvonimir Ivišić (Studentski centar) i Leo Menalo (Stella Azzurra).

Jedan od većih dobitnika lutrije su Sacramento Kingsi koji su bili na sedmom mjestu po izgledima, a birat će kao četvrti. Los Angeles Lakersi su dobili pravo na osmi izbor, ali će od njega profitirati New Orleans Pelicansi, dobivši ga u igračkoj razmjeni u kojoj je Anthony Davis završio u Kaliforniji.

Oklahoma City Thunder će uz drugi imati još i 12. izbor koji su im dugovali Los Angeles Clippersi zbog razmjene u kojoj su im poslali Paula Georgea te 30. izbor koji je trebao biti u vlasništvu Phoenixa.

Osim Thundera, pravo na više od jednog izbora u prvom krugu imat će i San Antonio (9., 20. i 25.), Charlotte (13. i 15.), Houston (3. i 17.) te Memphis (22. i 29.). Bez prava na izbor u prvom krugu zahvaljujući obavljenim igračkim razmjenama ostalo je sedam klubova: Phoenix, Boston, Utah, Toronto, Brooklyn, Los Angeles Lakers i LA Clippers.  

Lutrijom je određeno kojim će redom birati prvih 14 klubova, a daljnji redoslijed, od 15. do 30. određen je plasmanom momčadi u osnovnom dijelu sezone.

Orlando Magic je momčad koja je tijekom osnovnog dijela sezone ostvarila svega 22 pobjede, ali to im je donijelo mogućnost da sinoć u Chicagu njegovi čelnici proslave pobjedu na NBA lutriji koja im je donijela mogućnost prvog izbora na ovogodišnjem draftu.

Kuglice su odredile da će drugi izbor imati Oklahoma City Thunder. Houston Rocketsi će birati kao treći, Sacramento Kings kao četvrti, a Detroit Pistonsi kao peti koji će biti održan 23. lipnja u Barclays Centeru u Brooklynu.

Orlando, Detroit i Houston su ušli u lutriju s najvećim izgledima da će biti pobjednici, svaki sa po 14 posto izgleda. Orlandu je sreća bila naklonjena, dok su se Houston i Detroit našli iza Oklahoma Cityja koji je imao 12 posto izgleda za "broj 1".

Orlando je posljednji put imao pravo prvog izbora 2004. kad su u svoju momčad doveli Dwighta Howarda.

"Ovo je tako uzbudljivo. Imam mnogo toga čemu se možemo veseliti u ovoj organizaciji, s ovom skupinom i ovom navijačkom bazom. Ovo će biti posebno", izjavio je u prijenosu na američkom ESPN-u trener Magica Jamahl Mosley.

Osim 2004., Orlando je početkom '90-ih dvije godine zaredom birao prvi: 1992. su izabrali Shaquillea O'Neala, a 1993. Chrisa Webbera kojeg su mijenjali s Golden State Warriorsima za Pennyja Hardawaya koji je bio treći izbor.

Od ovogodišnje genracije kandidata ističu se centar Gonzage Chet Holmgren, krilo Auburna Jabari Smith i krilo Dukea Paolo Banchero su trojica košarkaša kojima analitičari daju najveće izglede da budu izabrani kao prvi.

U Chicagu će ovaj tjedan biti održan i "NBA combine", testiranje igrača koji su se prijavili na draft, na kojem će ih još jednom moći vidjeti predstavnici svih momčadi. Igrači s američkih sveučilišta koji su se prijavili za draft imaju mogućnost do 1. lipnja maknuti svoje ime s popisa prijavljenih, dok je za inozemne igrače taj rok 13. lipnja. Za ovogodišnji draft su prijavljena i četvorica hrvatskih košarkaša: Lovro Gnjidić (Cibona), Karlo Matković (Mega), Zvonimir Ivišić (Studentski centar) i Leo Menalo (Stella Azzurra).

Jedan od većih dobitnika lutrije su Sacramento Kingsi koji su bili na sedmom mjestu po izgledima, a birat će kao četvrti. Los Angeles Lakersi su dobili pravo na osmi izbor, ali će od njega profitirati New Orleans Pelicansi, dobivši ga u igračkoj razmjeni u kojoj je Anthony Davis završio u Kaliforniji.

Oklahoma City Thunder će uz drugi imati još i 12. izbor koji su im dugovali Los Angeles Clippersi zbog razmjene u kojoj su im poslali Paula Georgea te 30. izbor koji je trebao biti u vlasništvu Phoenixa.

Osim Thundera, pravo na više od jednog izbora u prvom krugu imat će i San Antonio (9., 20. i 25.), Charlotte (13. i 15.), Houston (3. i 17.) te Memphis (22. i 29.). Bez prava na izbor u prvom krugu zahvaljujući obavljenim igračkim razmjenama ostalo je sedam klubova: Phoenix, Boston, Utah, Toronto, Brooklyn, Los Angeles Lakers i LA Clippers.  

Lutrijom je određeno kojim će redom birati prvih 14 klubova, a daljnji redoslijed, od 15. do 30. određen je plasmanom momčadi u osnovnom dijelu sezone.

Orlando Magic pobjednik lutrije, imat će prvi ‘pick‘ na ovogodišnjem draftu

Orlando Magic je momčad koja je tijekom osnovnog dijela sezone ostvarila svega 22 pobjede, ali to im je donijelo mogućnost da sinoć u Chicagu njegovi čelnici proslave pobjedu na NBA lutriji koja im je donijela mogućnost prvog izbora na ovogodišnjem draftu.

Kuglice su odredile da će drugi izbor imati Oklahoma City Thunder. Houston Rocketsi će birati kao treći, Sacramento Kings kao četvrti, a Detroit Pistonsi kao peti koji će biti održan 23. lipnja u Barclays Centeru u Brooklynu.

Orlando, Detroit i Houston su ušli u lutriju s najvećim izgledima da će biti pobjednici, svaki sa po 14 posto izgleda. Orlandu je sreća bila naklonjena, dok su se Houston i Detroit našli iza Oklahoma Cityja koji je imao 12 posto izgleda za "broj 1".

Orlando je posljednji put imao pravo prvog izbora...
