LeBron James je u protekle dvije sezone osvojio dva NBA prstena s Miami Heatom, a između te dvije sezone se okitio i zlatnom medaljom na Olimpijskim igrama u Londonu.

S obzirom na svoj ugled i utjecaj, te na činjenicu da je involviran u NBA ligi već deset godina, bio bi idealan kandidat za čelnog čovjeka sindikata igrača NBA lige, jer njegov glas bi sasvim sigurno imao golemu važnost.

Osim toga, Udruženje igrača bi prvi puta na svom vrhu imalo jedno veliko ime još od vremena kada je Patrick Ewing obavljao taj posao.

No, LeBron James kaže da možda ne bi imao dovoljno vremena potrebnog da bi vratio sindikat igrača tamo gdje on vjeruje da mu je mjesto.

- Nisam siguran da bih imao vremena za tu dužnost. Morat ću o tome razmisliti i konzultirati se s ljudima iz mog kluba. No, mislim da se svi možemo složiti da je u našem udruženju bilo puno tranzicija zadnjih godina. Ukoliko ja ne sjednem u to sjedalo, nadam se da će dužnost preuzeti netko tko će se znati nositi s obvezama i tko će znati obaviti posao na zadovoljavajući način – izjavio je LeBron James.

S obzirom na svoj ugled i utjecaj, te na činjenicu da je involviran u NBA ligi već deset godina, bio bi idealan kandidat za čelnog čovjeka sindikata igrača NBA lige, jer njegov glas bi sasvim sigurno imao golemu važnost.

Osim toga, Udruženje igrača bi prvi puta na svom vrhu imalo jedno veliko ime još od vremena kada je Patrick Ewing obavljao taj posao.

No, LeBron James kaže da možda ne bi imao dovoljno vremena potrebnog da bi vratio sindikat igrača tamo gdje on vjeruje da mu je mjesto.

- Nisam siguran da bih imao vremena za tu dužnost. Morat ću o tome razmisliti i konzultirati se s ljudima iz mog kluba. No, mislim da se svi možemo složiti da je u našem udruženju bilo puno tranzicija zadnjih godina. Ukoliko ja ne sjednem u to sjedalo, nadam se da će dužnost preuzeti netko tko će se znati nositi s obvezama i tko će znati obaviti posao na zadovoljavajući način – izjavio je LeBron James.
