U finalu ovogodišnjeg EuroBasketa za košarkaše u Istanbulu igrat će Slovenija i Srbija, nakon što je Slovenija u četvrtak u prvom polufinalu nadigrala branitelja naslova Španjolsku sa 92-72, Srbija je u petak pobijedila Rusiju sa 87-79 (25-20, 23-14, 18-23, 21-22).

Srbija je protiv Rusije vodila gotovo tijekom čitavog dvoboja, jedino vodstvo Rusije bilo je 6-5, tijekom druge četvrtine, te sredinom treće je imala i 16 pogodaka prednosti (42-26, 57-41), no Rusija je ipak uspjela dovesti susret u neizvjesnu završnicu u kojoj im Bogdan Bogdanović ipak nije dopustio preokret.

Srbija je na krilima odličnih Bogdanovića i Bobana Marjanovića izgradila veliku prednost već u prvih 20 minuta, a tu razliku je održavala sve do rezultata 57-41 u 25. minuti. Uslijedila je velika serija Rusije od 11-0 tricama Šveda, Fridzona i Voronceviča te zakucavanjem Mozgova. No, nakon minute odmora koju je zatražio srpski izbornik Aleksandar Đorđević Srbija je uzvratila serijom 7-0 i ponovno se odvojila na značajnu razliku.

Ipak, Rusija se predvođena Švedom u posljednjoj četvrtini uspjela vratiti i na četiri minute prije kraja smanjiti na 75-73. Na ulasku u posljednje dvije minute bilo je 78-74 za Srbiju uz napad Rusije, no tada je Voroncevič promašio tricu da bi u sljedećem srpskom napadu Bogdanović pogodio za tri poena i odveo Srbiju do nedohvatnih 81-74. Bogdanović je 1:07 minuta prije kraja pogodio i dvicu za 83-76 kako bi otklonio bilo kakvu mogućnost preokreta.

Bogdanović je postigao 24 koša za Srbiju, Marjanović je dodao 18, dok je Aleksej Šved ubacio 33 poena za Rusiju.

Slovenija je do finala, koji je na programu u nedjelju u 20.30 sati, stigla s osam pobjeda i bez poraza, dok je Srbija na EuroBasketu ostvarila sedam pobjeda uz jedan poraz i to od Rusije još u 2. kolu natjecanja po skupinama (72-75). No, za taj poraz Srbija je uzvratila kada je bilo mnogo važnije.

Španjolska i Rusija će također u nedjelju, ali od 16 sati igrati za brončano odličje.

U finalu ovogodišnjeg EuroBasketa za košarkaše u Istanbulu igrat će Slovenija i Srbija, nakon što je Slovenija u četvrtak u prvom polufinalu nadigrala branitelja naslova Španjolsku sa 92-72, Srbija je u petak pobijedila Rusiju sa 87-79 (25-20, 23-14, 18-23, 21-22).

Srbija je protiv Rusije vodila gotovo tijekom čitavog dvoboja, jedino vodstvo Rusije bilo je 6-5, tijekom druge četvrtine, te sredinom treće je imala i 16 pogodaka prednosti (42-26, 57-41), no Rusija je ipak uspjela dovesti susret u neizvjesnu završnicu u kojoj im Bogdan Bogdanović ipak nije dopustio preokret.

Srbija je na krilima odličnih Bogdanovića i Bobana Marjanovića izgradila veliku prednost već u prvih 20 minuta, a tu razliku je održavala sve do rezultata 57-41 u 25. minuti. Uslijedila je velika serija Rusije od 11-0 tricama Šveda, Fridzona i Voronceviča te zakucavanjem Mozgova. No, nakon minute odmora koju je zatražio srpski izbornik Aleksandar Đorđević Srbija je uzvratila serijom 7-0 i ponovno se odvojila na značajnu razliku.

Ipak, Rusija se predvođena Švedom u posljednjoj četvrtini uspjela vratiti i na četiri minute prije kraja smanjiti na 75-73. Na ulasku u posljednje dvije minute bilo je 78-74 za Srbiju uz napad Rusije, no tada je Voroncevič promašio tricu da bi u sljedećem srpskom napadu Bogdanović pogodio za tri poena i odveo Srbiju do nedohvatnih 81-74. Bogdanović je 1:07 minuta prije kraja pogodio i dvicu za 83-76 kako bi otklonio bilo kakvu mogućnost preokreta.

Bogdanović je postigao 24 koša za Srbiju, Marjanović je dodao 18, dok je Aleksej Šved ubacio 33 poena za Rusiju.

Slovenija je do finala, koji je na programu u nedjelju u 20.30 sati, stigla s osam pobjeda i bez poraza, dok je Srbija na EuroBasketu ostvarila sedam pobjeda uz jedan poraz i to od Rusije još u 2. kolu natjecanja po skupinama (72-75). No, za taj poraz Srbija je uzvratila kada je bilo mnogo važnije.

Španjolska i Rusija će također u nedjelju, ali od 16 sati igrati za brončano odličje.
