Kakvo nas prvenstvo čeka? Prekidat će se zbog Svjetskog prvenstva u Kataru, po tome će bit atipično, odgađat će se i utakmice zbog europskih nastupa u ime proboja naših klubova što dulje i dalje pod kapom UEFA, ali na kraju, što se kaže laički, svatko će protiv svakoga odigrat po četiri puta, dvi kući, dvi vanka, pa što bude.
Čeka nas nesumnjivo uzbudljiv maraton, a za Tomislava Ercega, verziranog u pore SuperSport HNL-a nema dvojbe:
- Bit će to utrka Hajduka i Dinama, sve na to upućuje!
Ili Dinama i Hajduka, Dinamo je prvak, brani titulu, Hajduk napada.
- Opet nismo izgubili u Maksimiru (Erceg za Hajduka kaže mi, razumljivo, op. a.), bez poraza smo odigrali Superkup, na stranu jedanaesterci i to mi je pozitivan učinak. Jer, Dinamo je jak, a Hajduk je tu, u korak. Neizvjesnije nego ikad.
Ne mislite da bi se u utrku mogli uključiti i Osijek i Rijeka, kao lani, kad se formirala hrvatska velika četvorica?
- Mogu oni bit dobri, ali utrka za titulom stvar je Hajduka i Dinama.
Kažete Dinamo jak?
- Malo tko je u Europi potrošio dosad toliko novca kao Dinamo, uložio, doveli su Drmića, Ljubičića, Šutala. Znači da grade momčad i imaju jasne ambicije. Svi gledaju kako se riješit igrača u ovom trenutku tržišta, a Dinamo je dovodio. I to puno kazuje. U trenutku kad malo tko kupuje.
Hajduk?
- Hajduk je tu, pokazao je to već minule sezone kad je napravio iskorak i probio se na drugo mjesto nakon niza godina, gotovo desetljeća... Međutim, treba zaboravit prošlu godinu. Treba sve iznova i ponovit dobre stvari od prošle sezone i bit još bolji. Nije to lako, uvijek se govori da je teže ponavljat i tu je Hajdukov ispit. K tome, čini mi se da mu treba još nešto...
Što je to “još nešto”?
- Pa treba još nešto. Pojačati se...
Na kojim pozicijama?
- Mislim da bi Hajduku dobro došao još jedan vezni igrač i stoper. Da kompletiraju momčad. Po meni je Hajduku vrlo bitan i europski učinak, da se napokon uradi nešto konkretnije na europskoj sceni. S nestrpljenjem čekam ždrijeb u ponedjeljak, želim da u Europi Hajduk potraje duže, to bi mu diglo i atmosferu kroz prvenstvo, dalo dodatni poticaj, impuls. Tome se nadam.
Kako ocjenjujete učinak Osijeka i Rijeke?
- Osijek se nije ništa pojačao... Valjda misle da već imaju dobru momčad i nemaju prostora za nova ulaganja. Ostali su Caktaš, Lovrić, Mierez. Zanima me kako će to izgledati drugu godinu zaredom s Osječanima. Rijeka je imala dosta izlaznih transfera i na Rujevici se momčad tek slaže. Oni su mi upitnik. Međutim, ne vjerujem da mogu u borbu za titulu ni Osijek, ni Rijeka, sve će to rješavati Hajduk i Dinamo.
Hajduk čeka od 2005...
- A svi to znamo. Neka bude bolji nego prošle godine.
Ostatak ljestvice?
- Četiri kluba su donji dio, Varaždin, Istra, Šibenik... I Slaven Belupo.
Goricu i Lokomotivu držite u zlatnoj sredini?
- Da, svakako.
Opstanak?
- Čeka ih borba, ovu četvoricu što sam spomenuo.
Kako na njih gledate? Varaždin je ostavio sebi Teklića i Šegu, u Šibeniku je prometno, imaju Dolčeka, Saša Bjelanović je sportski direktor Istre?
- Ma, sve diktira novac! Koliko tko ima da uloži. Teško mi je sad reći pobliže... Diktira novac i nije to samo sad u nas, bože moj, posvuda je tako u svijetu! Tko može osnažiti momčad, izvući će se, ali netko od ove četvorice neće uspjeti. Nemojte od mene tražiti da prognoziram tko...

Kakvo nas prvenstvo čeka? Prekidat će se zbog Svjetskog prvenstva u Kataru, po tome će bit atipično, odgađat će se i utakmice zbog europskih nastupa u ime proboja naših klubova što dulje i dalje pod kapom UEFA, ali na kraju, što se kaže laički, svatko će protiv svakoga odigrat po četiri puta, dvi kući, dvi vanka, pa što bude.
Čeka nas nesumnjivo uzbudljiv maraton, a za Tomislava Ercega, verziranog u pore SuperSport HNL-a nema dvojbe:

- Opet nismo izgubili u Maksimiru (Erceg za Hajduka kaže mi, razumljivo, op. a.), bez poraza smo odigrali Superkup, na stranu jedanaesterci i to mi je pozitivan učinak. Jer, Dinamo je jak, a Hajduk je tu, u korak. Neizvjesnije nego ikad.
Ne mislite da bi se u utrku mogli uključiti i Osijek i Rijeka, kao lani, kad se formirala hrvatska velika četvorica?
- Mogu oni bit dobri, ali utrka za titulom stvar je Hajduka i Dinama.
Kažete Dinamo jak?
- Malo tko je u Europi potrošio dosad toliko novca kao Dinamo, uložio, doveli su Drmića, Ljubičića, Šutala. Znači da grade momčad i imaju jasne ambicije. Svi gledaju kako se riješit igrača u ovom trenutku tržišta, a Dinamo je dovodio. I to puno kazuje. U trenutku kad malo tko kupuje.
Hajduk?
- Hajduk je tu, pokazao je to već minule sezone kad je napravio iskorak i probio se na drugo mjesto nakon niza godina, gotovo desetljeća... Međutim, treba zaboravit prošlu godinu. Treba sve iznova i ponovit dobre stvari od prošle sezone i bit još bolji. Nije to lako, uvijek se govori da je teže ponavljat i tu je Hajdukov ispit. K tome, čini mi se da mu treba još nešto...
Što je to “još nešto”?
- Pa treba još nešto. Pojačati se...
Na kojim pozicijama?
- Mislim da bi Hajduku dobro došao još jedan vezni igrač i stoper. Da kompletiraju momčad. Po meni je Hajduku vrlo bitan i europski učinak, da se napokon uradi nešto konkretnije na europskoj sceni. S nestrpljenjem čekam ždrijeb u ponedjeljak, želim da u Europi Hajduk potraje duže, to bi mu diglo i atmosferu kroz prvenstvo, dalo dodatni poticaj, impuls. Tome se nadam.
Kako ocjenjujete učinak Osijeka i Rijeke?
- Osijek se nije ništa pojačao... Valjda misle da već imaju dobru momčad i nemaju prostora za nova ulaganja. Ostali su Caktaš, Lovrić, Mierez. Zanima me kako će to izgledati drugu godinu zaredom s Osječanima. Rijeka je imala dosta izlaznih transfera i na Rujevici se momčad tek slaže. Oni su mi upitnik. Međutim, ne vjerujem da mogu u borbu za titulu ni Osijek, ni Rijeka, sve će to rješavati Hajduk i Dinamo.
Hajduk čeka od 2005...
- A svi to znamo. Neka bude bolji nego prošle godine.
Ostatak ljestvice?
- Četiri kluba su donji dio, Varaždin, Istra, Šibenik... I Slaven Belupo.
Goricu i Lokomotivu držite u zlatnoj sredini?
- Da, svakako.
Opstanak?
- Čeka ih borba, ovu četvoricu što sam spomenuo.
Kako na njih gledate? Varaždin je ostavio sebi Teklića i Šegu, u Šibeniku je prometno, imaju Dolčeka, Saša Bjelanović je sportski direktor Istre?
- Ma, sve diktira novac! Koliko tko ima da uloži. Teško mi je sad reći pobliže... Diktira novac i nije to samo sad u nas, bože moj, posvuda je tako u svijetu! Tko može osnažiti momčad, izvući će se, ali netko od ove četvorice neće uspjeti. Nemojte od mene tražiti da prognoziram tko...
