Smijenjeni trener Robert Jarni okupio je novinare u Staroga mornara, restorana blizu, ali izvan poljudskog stadiona. Vodeći trojac Hajduka ostavio je otvorenom opciju da mu ponudi neku drugu funkciju u klubu.
- Ne. Nema smisla vraćati se nazad. Mislim da bih trebao nastaviti posao vođenja prve ekipe i tražit ću nešto na tom nivou – odrješito je odbacio takvu mogućnost smijenjeni trener.
Otkaz je gotovo očekivao.
- Nisam iznenađen. Na sastancima mi se govorila jedna stvar, ali kroz novine sam vidio da nisam potvrđen za iduću sezonu i stoga apsolutno nisam iznenađen. Nisam ni razočaran jer ovo što sam dobio nije bila šansa. Ovo je bilo krpanje – govorio je Jarni.
No znao je i kada je dolazio u klub da situacija nije dobra.
- Želio sam pomoći koliko je to god bilo u mojoj moći. U tome sam donekle i uspio. Nije to neko opravdanje, ali dobio sam zadatak ući u Europi i promovirati mlade igrače. Ali kad se to sagleda riječ je o dvije stvari koje se kose jedna s drugom. No prvo smo izborili u Europu, a i drugi je zadatak obavljen – zadovoljan je svojim učinkom Jarni.
Da mu je kojim slučajem ponuđen nastavak rada to ne bi odbio.
- Da su mi dali povjerenje još bih ostao - potvrdio je.
Otkaz mu je “uručio” novi sportski direktor Ivan Buljan.
- Rastali smo se bez problema. Bili su na razgovoru sa mnom Mirko Klarić, ovjetnik MatePeroš, Fredi Fiorentini (direktor kluba, nap. a.) i Ivan Buljan koji mi je priopćio da ja više nisam trener.
Nabrojio je Jarni potom i nekoliko glavnih problema.
- Situacija u svlačionici nije bila bajna. Ne mogu reći da sa bio zadovoljan pripremama. U deset najvažnijih dana upao mi je taj Hong Kong. Nisam imao priliku slagati sam ekipu po svome guštu. Po mom sudu dobiti šansu znači dobiti barem dvije godine rekao je te na koncu zaključio:
- Sebi ništa ne zamjeram. Sada će trebati veliko strpljenje, posebno kod navijača.

Smijenjeni trener Robert Jarni okupio je novinare u Staroga mornara, restorana blizu, ali izvan poljudskog stadiona. Vodeći trojac Hajduka ostavio je otvorenom opciju da mu ponudi neku drugu funkciju u klubu.
- Ne. Nema smisla vraćati se nazad. Mislim da bih trebao nastaviti posao vođenja prve ekipe i tražit ću nešto na tom nivou – odrješito je odbacio takvu mogućnost smijenjeni trener.
Otkaz je gotovo očekivao.
- Nisam iznenađen. Na sastancima mi se govorila jedna stvar, ali kroz novine sam vidio da nisam potvrđen za iduću sezonu i stoga apsolutno nisam iznenađen. Nisam ni razočaran jer ovo što sam dobio nije bila šansa. Ovo je bilo krpanje – govorio je Jarni.
No znao je i kada je dolazio u klub da situacija nije dobra.
- Želio sam pomoći koliko je to god bilo u mojoj moći. U tome sam donekle i uspio. Nije to neko opravdanje, ali dobio sam zadatak ući u Europi i promovirati mlade igrače. Ali kad se to sagleda riječ je o dvije stvari koje se kose jedna s drugom. No prvo smo izborili u Europu, a i drugi je zadatak obavljen – zadovoljan je svojim učinkom Jarni.
Da mu je kojim slučajem ponuđen nastavak rada to ne bi odbio.
- Da su mi dali povjerenje još bih ostao - potvrdio je.
Otkaz mu je “uručio” novi sportski direktor Ivan Buljan.
- Rastali smo se bez problema. Bili su na razgovoru sa mnom Mirko Klarić, ovjetnik MatePeroš, Fredi Fiorentini (direktor kluba, nap. a.) i Ivan Buljan koji mi je priopćio da ja više nisam trener.
Nabrojio je Jarni potom i nekoliko glavnih problema.
- Situacija u svlačionici nije bila bajna. Ne mogu reći da sa bio zadovoljan pripremama. U deset najvažnijih dana upao mi je taj Hong Kong. Nisam imao priliku slagati sam ekipu po svome guštu. Po mom sudu dobiti šansu znači dobiti barem dvije godine rekao je te na koncu zaključio:
- Sebi ništa ne zamjeram. Sada će trebati veliko strpljenje, posebno kod navijača.
